Once upon a time...
Name: Anka al Djinni
Surname: Al Daniels
Actual Age: 3,295
Apparent Age: This century, he likes to appear, in his human form, around the age of 16.
Bio: It wasn't really my idea to get caught in with that thief, Aladdin. I had gone through so much trouble to hide my lamp, putting all those tempting jewels in the way, sure to make any real thief rich and satisfied. But noooo, that meddling magician uncle of his had to give him certain instructions. As per the Rules, there must be some way for the Lamp to be obtained, but I try to make it difficult. A reward such as me needs to be rare and hard to obtain. And, of course, the selfish street rat had to get himself trapped in my cave, using the inferior Djinni of the Ring to escape, and only figured out what the Lamp was later. By accident! Can you believe? Those humans managed to forget all about me in the 637 years since I was last seen. Anyway, stealing the princess definitely wasn't my idea. I tried to warn the kid, but he was so sure that pretty girls could to no harm. And, as soon as his back was turned, the scheming wench sold my lamp off to the magician for a few coppers. A few coppers! As if I didn't deserve better. I am the secret to limitless riches, unfathomable power, endless rule! The magician couldn't possibly be imaginative himself, only reversing or copying the feeble wishes of Aladdin. Then, in just a few months, the moronic man managed to lose the Lamp to Aladdin again. Really, these guys have no idea how to hold on to things of value. You shouldn't trust them with anything. Aladdin's "happily ever after" didn't last long. His fourth wife ran away from him, and sold my lamp for passage on a ship to Fabletown. Several decades passed, and the Lamp ended up in a back-alley antique shop in that same town. (To be continued...) ((As soon as somebody wants to buy the Lamp.))
Personality: Cynical, selfish, self-serving, frequently bored, fun-loving, tricky.
Fairy Tale they come from: Aladdin
Rich or Poor: Depends on the lamp owner, usually rich.
Weapons: Prefers not to use weapons, but when he does, favores a glowing scimitar.
Powers: The mighty powers of the Djinni of the Lamp are constrained only by the wishes of the Possessor, and the laziness of Anka. He can only use them when fulfilling a wish, however, and the wish must be made by someone other than Anka.
