Night time holds slight activity inside the walls of Ryvia. Unlike some villages or minor kingdoms, Ryvia is too massive to hold a curfew. No curfew allows those who favor the night ability to roam without scheduled purpose. Night may not contain nearly as much life as day, however it still scarcely does. Taverns and inns that carry on through the night are the most common to still swell with business, with the exception of some rare spectacles in the streets like entertainers or merchants.
This day was like many others before it as the kingdom of Ryvia bustled with life and activity. People carried about their daily lives and business in all areas of the kingdom. The sun shines brightly though not high overhead, indicating that evening was nearing. A lot of the activity currently within Ryvia were people closing their daytime shops or finishing their daily duties and readying for the nightfall. While some of the activity comes from the people of night awaking and starting their own day (or night to be technical).
Alcrux had entered the walls of Ryvia with cloak masking appearance. His view did not meet with any guards or military he passed. The men and women Alcrux passed merely thought of him as a nobody. For it wasn't uncommon to see a lower classed individual walking about with their appearance hidden.
Hearing whispers and conversations in other spots of hidings, while in many different villages, Alcrux learned of Ryvia and how it stands. Through what he heard, he discovered his destination would be the heart of Ryvia. For the center of Ryvia would hold the best places for a new spot of hiding.
In between a graveyard dedicated to heroes, a hospital or center of recovery, a few taverns or inns, and the massive castle of Ryvia stands a courtyard filled with countless statues, many of them heroes and figures that once stood for Ryvia. This courtyard with many statues would be the perfect place to hide for Alcrux. It did not take Alcrux long to find this place due to people speaking of it in awe in previous places of hiding.
Alcrux walked among the statues studying each one closely. Paying much attention to detail and how they are similar to one another in craftsmanship. It wasn't long before Alcrux was finding the perfect place to stand and shift himself into pure rune-stone. Alcrux looked exactly like all other statues around himself. The problem stood that he knew no history of Ryvia so could not replicate any heroes, without causing notice of having two identical statues next to one another. So he merely stood as himself.
Alcrux had trained himself not only to go without eating for a while. He could also withstand hunger without having it effect his taken appearance. Alcrux could stand still and assume the form of a statue for hours upon end, like he did now even though the sun had risen and begun to set again. When night fully cloaked him, Alcrux would find nourishment. Then most likely once again assume the position he once held.
(The sun is slowly coming to setting, so it is currently nearing the evening/night. if my post confused anyone.)
