Glue holds two different items together, but eventually breaks... What happens when those items are groups of people, and that glue is a ruler? The glue has broken, and now, unless a new glue is applied, both sides will fight until there's no longer a need for glue.
(this RP's technology is that of a medieval era)
This is an RP with two seperate sides, at least to start with. It will have an army of humans, and an army of anthropomorphic creatures. The two sides used to be allies under one leader, but he has died off, and the two sides wish for more power than the other, as is the case in most conflicts. Most towns, if not all, however, are important to both sides... Whoever wins can't lose any towns from either side. So each side has agreed to fight outside of towns... to in fact, live together in the towns, though with some possible hatred towards each other. Roads are safe along with the towns, forests for hunting are safe, the plains however, are where blood is spilled. The current leaders... the flow of the war... and the politics in general... they're yet to be created. They'll evolve as the RP progresses, and, if you work hard enough, you may influence any of these on your own. The fight has begun, that's set in stone, will you be the one writing more into the stone, or will you be the one following the words of the stone?
Basically, choose a side, create your character, and start RPing, because of the agreement, you may interact with both sides of the war easily without risk of death. If you want to participate in the political debates, go for it, if you want to cut through flesh, human or anthro, that's your choice. This wasn't my idea really, all credit goes to Esailia, and anyone who helped her with her ideas, I'm simply the one she requested to create the RP. I kind of made this sound more like a sandbox RP, but it's not completely, as GM, I reserve the right to make events happen that alter the way things seem to be going, and as the creator, I reserve the right for Esa to do so as well if she wishes.
there's a third group, the elves, who generally stay in the cities and stop the two groups from battling unless in the designated areas. Some elves patrol the roads to ensure safety, but otherwise, they're mostly just the police force of the cities. You're allowed to be one, BUT, you must request a GM's permission to do so BEFORE you make the character. Only a few are allowed to be elves here, and there's some responsibility from being an elf... we can't have someone who thinks they can beat random people up as an elf being one.
1.DO NOT FIGHT WITH THE GMs, THEY HAVE FINAL SAY. If for any reason you feel they're being unfair, PM me or Esa, and one of us will decide the final say
2.don't fight with each other, this is an RP, not a fight for your life, if you were rude, apologize, if you fight over something that's fact-based, LOOK IT UP, and if you fight over opinions... stop... opinions aren't facts
3.general RP rules also apply, meaning... don't think just because I didn't say something like auto-hits are bad, that you're allowed to. If most RPs say it's a bad thing, it's probably a bad thing to do here too.
Appearance: (if you're anthro, and you find a human picture, just say what additional features you have that make you anthro)
Side: (human, or anthro?)
(if anthro) what animal do you resemble?:
Role in the war: (are you a warrior, politician, or simply a merchant?)
Equipment: (obvious for warrios, in a politicians case, you'd probably say your quick wit or something, and for a merchant, just generally what you sell... basically what you use to do your job)
Magic: (anything, but will be reviewed by GMs)
CSes will of course, be subject to acceptance or denial by GMs
He has fox ears, and a fox tail though
(if anthro) what animal do you resemble?: fox
Bio: John was raised since birth to be a hunter, having been born with similar traits to that of a fox who generally has capable hunting ability. He was taught to use different types of bow, but he found the short bow the easiest to use and the easiest to keep on him, so he always has one. He was also taught the worth of a dagger, and so he keeps two. Finally, he was taught the speed of a sword is it's greatest weapon, and thus, uses a fast sword. It was just around the time when he had begun hunting for his family when a nearby village was killed off because of the humans. He decided he wouldn't have his family dying because of the humans. He moved to a town just as the pact to not attack towns was created, and began to aid in the war efforts.
Role in the war: hunter/warrior
Equipment: shortbow, dual daggers, and a shortsword
Magic: Wind-based (re-direct wind, not so much for damage, but can help him distract enemies, hid his scent, move faster than normal, jump slightly higher, or direct his arrows, plus more)
