They were inseparable. The best of friends, two peas in a pod. They lived next door to each other their whole lives and are best friends. That is, until Elizabeth had to leave and go away. Her father had gotten a job offer much better than what he had now. The only problem was, they had to move. She knew --- would be heartbroken. And she didn't want to say goodbye. She was never good at them. She doesn't like them at all, so she figured not saying goodbye would be best.
He contacted her a lot, through e-mail, phone, calling, texting, everything. Till eventually she changed her number and she didn't talk to him at all. She didn't want to face him getting mad at her for leaving. That was her fear, that he was going to be mad at her. That was when she was fourteen. She had just started to like him, but pushed her feelings to the back of her head because they were moving. And they were pushed so far back that she had forgotten about them.
It has been four years since she had moved away. But now, she is moving back? Her father was able to get the same job in the same town because they recently opened the business her father works for. They opened a new factory and he is going to be working there. And they were able to move somewhat close to their old house, and it was still close to the highschool that Elizabeth would be going to. Elizabeth was different now. She had changed drastically. With her appearance mostly, she changed her bleach blond hair to chocolate brown. She had light blue eyes, and she now wears contacts instead of glasses. Her figure is small and petite.
She was nervous. More nervous that she has ever been in her life. What if he recognized her? What if he blew up at her and got mad? She knew he still lived here, because she heard about him sometimes from old friends she still kept in touch with, but slowly faded away in friendship. She is now coming here with noone. Noone except him. It was time to leave for school, she had just moved back yesterday. They still had quite some unpacking to do, and Elizabeth was too busy getting ready to focus on unpacking. She finished her breakfast quickly and started on her way to school walking.
