The Hidden Leaf Village
Karela slowly opened one eye as she heard the sound of the door to her apartment opening and sighed. Someone was interrupting her morning routine of taking a mid-morning nap. She turned around and looked at her apartment and saw the state that it was in and looked for the escape routes that she had built in. There were two of them. The window and the small ladder that led to the roof of the apartment. But as she looked up the ladder she saw a shadowy figure standing above her and she took a respectful stance.
"Hello Hanabi." She said as Hinata's younger sister landed next to her as she slowly tried moving towards the door. "Hello Karela!" Hanabi said cheerfully. "I just thought I'd drop by and let you know that Hinata is going to be dropping by a bit later. Something about the Hokage wanting to see you and a couple others for a mission."
Karela quickly turned around as she heard another voice from behind her. "That's correct." Hinata Hyuga said as she stepped into the room with a smile. "You've kept up on the cleaning Karela, I'm glad to see it. But yes, the Hokage does want to speak to you with a few others. A group has come to the Hidden Leaf asking for help."
Karela grinned. She liked missions. She liked showing others that she was dependable. "I'll be there as soon as possible." She said with a smile. Hinata smiled at her eagerness. "Why don't you grab something to eat first? And than you can go see the Hokage. He's still meeting with the representative of the group."
Breakfast...that does sound good. The Chunin thought as her eyes lit up at the thought of some morning ramen. "Sounds good." Karela said as the three of them headed for the door. After reaching the ground floor, Hinata headed for the Hokage's office and Hanabi headed back to the Hyuga compound leaving Karela alone as she headed to the Ramen stand. After a few minutes of walking she saw the familiar sight of the stand and she began to think of what she was going to eat.
