(Work In Progress. Will be updated as I think of more spells and stuff.)
Name: His name when he was a mortal dragon was Alkidrem (All-Kide-Drem)
Hero or Villain Name: Dracolich
Age: thousands of years old. He claims to be five hundred thousand years old, but Death tells John otherwise
Appearance:I don't think I have to go into detail just how huge he is in this form. His eye is as big as a human's skull.
This is the best picture I could get for the humanoid form, so just saying that the bone plates are a little more... covering for him than they are in this picture. Also over the hair he has a sort of helmet shaped outer skull. The front is mostly taken up by two large plates of bone over his chest, and a series of plates on his stomach. The part of the face you do not see in this are covered by a mask of bone plates that only shows the mouth and a little of the nose. And of course there are huge skeletal wings coming out of his back to allow flight.
He only goes into dragon form when he is in combat or in the Between. Other than that he is in his humanoid form.
He has strength many, many times more than a human. He can carry 2 tons in flight and six normally.
Extreme flight speed when unburdened.
The constant life force of souls surrounding him gives him a healing factor thrice that of a human.
The souls around him serve as a shield as well. Any time they perceive danger, they rush to take the blunt of the force. And souls are very strong and durable against anything that is not soul magic.
He is resistant to soul based magics due to his origin in them.
Souls constantly keep his claws sharp and due to his healing factor they don't get any smaller from this. Just sharper.
Consume Souls: He can consume and absorb free floating souls by flicking his head back from their direction.
Soul Swarm: He has the extremely powerful ability to bombard his enemies with souls from fallen warriors, the anger from the souls making a violent explosion on impact without destroying itself.
Emotion Aura: Seeing the souls of the dead can have heavy emotional effects on people. Whether it be blinding anger or weakening sadness.
Soul Ravage Aura: When mortal beings get close enough to him while he is in the dragon form, the souls around him literally coax the souls of the near mortals to join them.
Advanced Soul Management: Minions cost a significant less amount of souls for him to maintain.
Advanced Death Atune: He is closely familiar with how death works and can see the downfall of godly beings years before it happens. Of course he has made a oath on his life that he will not reveal this to anyone. If he speaks a word of what his visions show him he will cease to be.
Wisdom: He is older then many a city. He can tell you of times when the earth was still mostly forest and growth. He remembers ancient egypt and the great Roman empire like it was just yesterday. If you ask him to tell you a tale, he will gladly talk until your ears have had enough and walk out the door.
Acid Breath: He can breathe a cloud of strong acid with a range of 25 feet.
Fire Hail: Summons a bombarding storm of fireballs down onto the earth. 150 feet radius. (He does get hit from it too since he is in the radius)
Greek Fire: He can spit fireballs that make Greek fire splash in a 10 foot radius from the impact zone.. Greek fire can burn underwater. (When he is in humanoid form, he forms it in his hand and throws it.)
Ice Breathe: Anyone that gets in the range of this blast of frost is made into an ice cube. 25 foot range.
Scorching Ray: A super heated ray of inferno cast from his eyes. The fire is colored blue due to it's origin.
Ice Spear(Humanoid Form Only):He can make a spear of ice for either poking at stuff or throwing.
Obliterate: This is probably his most powerful spell, but he surprisingly rarely uses it. It destroys the target's very essence, either rendering their soul powerless or just plain out ripping it apart. This will not work on beings with powerful souls including gods, but it will hurt them severely.
Death: He can stop a mortal's heartbeat with a flick of his tail.
Fire Breathe: Like the cliche dragon, he can breath a stream of fire from his mouth. 35 foot range.
Soul Splice: This spell is by far the most advanced and few can use it right. Sure you can rip apart the soul and put it back together, but putting it back together in an unstable way can level new york sized cities with the blast. Souls are very dangerous to mess with and like I said few can use it right, and have practiced for hundreds of thousands of years in places where there is nothing to destroy. When using this spell you crack open the core of the soul to reveal the 'code' which you can take out and examine at different levels. Whether it be as a whole for simple edits, or to go to the very minicule strands of the core to make extremely complex edits that are not only very dangerous, but very difficult. It's like wiring together a nuke for timed explosion and not knowing what to do in danger level. While the scientists of modern day say the mind is the most complex machine, it is truly the soul that out matches this. The mind is the tether between soul and body, and the soul is what stores what happens to the body. You can wind the clock forward or backwards, or even change their memory. While you can do that last bit with basic mental powers or magic, if you use the soul there is no way to recover it, it's there to stay. This is why it is only taught to trusted persons for if this technique were to fall into the wrong hands, they could take over more than just our world, but move on to others.
He has the same minions as John, but the others are as follows: (Warning, these soul costs are due to dracolich's advanced soul management. Normally they cost much higher)
A six foot tall skeleton.
It rushes into combat not caring about it's safety and starts slashing at anything it can hit. Costs 1 soul
This is not the most powerful, but it is the most frightening. With it's armor made of a metal fused with souls, it is extremely durable and not only that very protecting. The Warlord is the vengeful spirits of many samurai that died out of battle given a deadly combo of a wicked sword and a devastating flail. Costs 10 souls
This is pretty self explaining. This skeleton is the master of stealth. He can jump 12 feet into the air and run at a speed of 2.5 meters per second. (that's fast!) He is also very fast with his twin daggers, being able to rip enemies to shreds before speeding out of sight. 5 souls
This is truly a work of art in terror. The front two arms are used to bash through anything they can reach, and the ones that begin at it's back are used to pick things up and throw them at deadly speeds. He can take huge amounts of damage without slowing down. There are some that still swing a few times after death they gather so much momentum. These are truly the wagers of destruction in the dracolich's arsenal of minions. They have no lift strength, but with one swing of his arm he can break through the corner of a skyscraper, steel and all. 50 souls.
This is just your basic skeleton but with four arms. It also is very good at using those swords very quickly. 15 souls.
The BoneClaw is a caster's worse nightmare. Not only is it really fast and the claws on it sharp enough to cut through stone, it's immune to magic. But other than that it can't take much physical damage and is very weak. It can't even swing it's arms, it just flails it's hands at the target. 10 souls.
Oh yes I just did
A entity of pure fear and death, the Bodak is not only strong and extremely tough, it has a few very devastating abilities.
Shadow form: This makes it completely invisible to anyone with basic human eyesight.
Death Gaze: When the bodak looks at a sentient being, the victim is weakened by paralyzing fear.
Agonizing Gaze: When something attacks it when it is 5 yards away they get struck with necrotic force and not only are harmed but put less effort into their attack.
Slam: It slams into it's foe, causing more damage due to it's Death Gaze weakening the target.
The NightShade is purely a support role monster. They hold an aura that doubles the strength of any minions in a 50 foot radiius.
The smaller one is the Swarmer: as tall as an adult male and with sharp claws. It is the result of a human losing it's soul, so it costs zero souls.
The next one going up is the Devourer. It's a towering 10 feet tall and has claws that can flay enemies alive. It can also steal essence (essence is their life force, not their soul)
and the small person inside it's rib cavity takes on the features of the person it stole the essence from. This essence allows it to throw magic missiles and summon Swamers. Costs 30 souls
The next and largest of this group of minions is the Soul Master. This huge beast stands at 15 feet tall with huge spines covering his back. These spines suck souls onto them where the Soul Master absorbs them and uses them to summon lowly minions like the beserker and skeleton. Costs 100 souls.
This is one of the most deadly minions ever thought of. It is a ghost, any physical damage is ignored. Their sword is also a ghostly material ,making it ignore armor and actually damages the life essence of it's enemy directly, draining it away little but little each hit. All around it is an aura of cold, dropping a 15 foot area around it to 15 degrees Fahrenheit. This not only makes other things of the frost element stronger, it also makes itself stronger. The Knight of Souls also can summon Chillborn, which are a more frosty version of Swarmers. One of these could be considered a mini boss and would take more than two supers to take it down alone.
Oh Yes I Did kind of minion *muahahahaha*
The Nightwalker is a nightmare. For anyone. It is a ghost like the Knight of Souls, but it also is immune to shadow and frost magic, and highly resistant to magic in general. It's claws are super sharp and cause major decay when they touch. Their claws literally age anything they touch thousands of years. Metal, Stone, Flesh. This is a very powerful being and takes a lot to keep under control. But if it's summoner wants it to wreak chaos...
Costs 800 souls.
He can summon up to 200,000 souls. He could summon more if he choose, but he likes to keep himself limited for an extra challenge.
Abilities(Skills): He has a knack for Poetry.
Humanoid Form Abilities:
Superhuman agility and reflexes.
Equipment: Weapons(Be realistic) : When in his Humanoid form he has a halberd
Alliances: None. When he decides to cause havoc he chooses no favorites even if he considers you a friend. But when he is not in a chaotic rage he has friends in the Endless, and is in a sort of truce with jilocasin. (sort of. Not really a truce more that Dracolich knows who he is and shows him respect.)
(Good,Neutral, or Evil?) : Lawful Good. The reason he gets in a tumble with the titans is Sinna.
History: the Dracolich has such a long history it would take a while for me to type it all, so i'll try to keep it short. When Alkidrem was brought back from death to be the guardian of Purgatory by protecting the Between, the world had just begun to have small tribes of humans pop up. For many years he watched the human race grow to what it is now. The solemn guard of the Afterlife, he had a relatively easy job. Or, he did have one, until the humans learned of magic and some started trying to do silly things like bring loved ones back from the dead or cheat their way into the afterlife. The only time he could not handle the intrusion, however, was actually recently. When Sinna locked War in Purgatory, it was so unexpected that the Book of the Cosmos actually changed according to Destiny. Death looked into it and found some girl had broken in and planted him there. Worse for wear she did not even seal the way she got out shut correctly. This would explain how War got out sooner then anyone expected. Death was in a rage when this happened, and Alkidrem was just as angry. The fact that girl had messed around with something she most likely knew nothing about. It made him look really bad at his job. And it leaves off at where he enters. Looking to set things right by telling Sinna just what she did.
