Fire Rained From the Sky, Its Arrows Piercing the skin of Peasant, Guards, and Noblemen Alike.
Hundreds of men and woman charged into the city, from holes in the walls to the burning gate itself. The attack had began, and bandits fell left and right as the Sarokin Archers fired from the walls, sometimes all at once, others in burst. Siege weapons fired into the city, causing chaos inside. Leading the ground troops was a Shaman, blasting fire, ice and the occasional lightning towards farmers and thugs as they began to charge teh rebels. He was suprised by the loyalty of the farmers and lower class, trying to stop them from destroying their homes. Yelling his cry and lifting his staff, the Orcs, Dwarves, Humans, Elves, and goblin attackers charged the makeshift minutemen. Shots rang out from the airships above.
The Air Ships flew over the screaming city, and cannons sounded across the plains and to the mountains, its explosion hitting the castle and city alike. A green skin War Chief sat upon the largest, and heavily armed Airship. The Chieftain grinned and stood up, his axe in hand, he raised it and called to the troops on his ship "MEN! THE DAY OF REVENGE HAS FINALLY COME, LET US CELEBRATE BY FEASTING IN THE KINGS CASTLE! LET US TAKE BACK WHAT WAS RIGHTFULLY OURS!' The men and few woman of the warship cheered and began reading their weapons. The Chieftain watched as the cannons were pushed into place by several men, green skinned and white skinned alike. Roaring his command he yelled "FIRE" A dozen shots rang out, all aimed at the castle.
Several Guards backed away from the towers and walls as the large ship fired. Several impacting the walls, and a few knocking over a tower. In the keep several guards rushed to the kings room, including the Commanders Hill and Threst. They spotted the king, holding his daughter and wife ordering some guards around to protect them. Sage stood awkwardly holding a quill and a paper, writing several letters, which he then attached to some messenger birds. Ten in all were released from the cages, an elven druid commanding the birds to head to the known friendly nations near. Pushing through the crowd, the twin brothers reached the king, and kneeled in silence. In a paniced voice, the king said "Quickly Stand you two, we need to get my wife and daughter to our ship. One of you fetch my armor for me, as well as my hammer." Threst stood and headed to the royal armory, the walls shaking from cannon fire. Hill stood as ordered and said "Yes Sire, but a problem, not only are they attacking from the gates and sky, but also the sea."
The harbor was surrounded by dozens of ships, firing arrows from their decks. The Sarokin Navy was almost ready, and several defenses were set up all along the stairs leading up to the main part of the city. Several citizens rushed up the stairs, and a few on ships to try and escape the inferno. Cannons were lined on the docks and in the buildings that line the harbor, returning fire to the ships. Guards rushed down the stairs to meet several invading bandits that were docking on the docks and beaches around the coast.
