Guys, would you be interested in a 'behind enemy lines' role play? It is based on Halo, but you wouldn't have to know much about Halo to join. I've got a small starting thing here for you to read:
As Sarah walked onto the bridge of the 'Midnight Moon', a UNSC (United Nations Space Command) corvette, she felt lonely. She was a 'secret' spartan, one believed to have died during the Spartans' augmentation progress. What really happened was one of the Office of Naval Intelligence's subsections assigning her to deal with problems that were behind enemy lines. Because that Sarah was doing this for them, the ONI subsection allowed her to see the files of her family.
Looking around, Sarah noticed that nobody was on the bridge. This hadn't surprised her, because that she was supposed to receive a squad of well trained soldiers dropped off onto the ship. The only people on the Midnight Moon would be her and that squad, and it would be staying like that for a very long time, so she hoped that they were good at making friends. To the left of the command chair, a holopad lit up, and the ship's AI, Zariana, appeared. Zariana's hologram resembled a lady with long hair, wearing an ONI junior officer's uniform. "ONI has finally sent the squad's details." Zariana said, a tinge of irritation in her voice. "Would you like to view them?"
Sarah nodded, and her data pad flashed a few times as the files transferred. She sat down in the command chair, and read the files. As she read, she recognized one member of the squad. "Is that who I think it is?" Sarah asked. Zariana nodded. It was her younger brother, James. He didn't even know that she was still alive. Her flash clone that had replaced her had probably already died, just like the rest. Should she tell him? It might effect him, better to keep it secret. Even so, she got up and walked down to the hangar bay to wait for the squad to board.
