CHILDREN BOOK PLAYS ARE RADICAL OKAY.

Set by the wonderful Tempest
When I was in high school we did a children's production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. After one dress rehearsal we filmed a "music video" to the Black Eyed Peas "My Humps" song, which, I think, I've posted on this site before.
We also developed subtle subplots about who was having an affair with whom (my character, a female version of Clopin, was secretly sexing Frollo), which made interaction dynamics interesting.
We also managed to work the line "She doesn't even go here!" into the script somehow.
"Shoot it up, straight to the heart, please. No one's gonna take my soul away."
