Up on a hill within the center of a quiet forest with brightly colored leaves exists a large shack adorned with many fanciful and mysterious decorations. Above it's door reads "Hillbury Hill Magical Vendor" in lazily written black ink from a large brush. Although it might not be an entirely trusted source of magical items due to not having an official magical license, it still has a loyal following among some of the students at the nearby New Rose Academy for Girls, found roughly half a mile away along the edge of the forest. The old lady who runs the store, Malinda, has a certain charm about her that inspires the students to every so often venture out to the shop once classes are over to try out all of the latest and coolest stuff, or just to have fun and hang out. Although they have determined that very few of the magical items have decent success rates, they're cheap enough for a student to afford and are just harmless fun, right? So far even the busts and duds haven't caused any real harm. Sure, something might explode every once in a while and burn their eyebrows off, but at least nothing has happened that they couldn't all have a good laugh about once it was all said and done. Little did they realize that the latest item, a love potion in a small pink vial, could very well change the rest of their life with only a week's worth of allowance and a brief swig. As it turns out, drinking strange, unproven liquids from an old lady's shake in the middle of a forest might not have been the best idea in hindsight.
Perhaps it wasn't completely a lie, however. The love potion did, in fact, get people to fall in love with those who drank it. The only problem for these girls was that the people who they had gained the affection of was, in fact, other girls. As long as they weren't related or were too far separated by age, it removed any inhibitions that other girls might have in finding them romantically attractive and available. It didn't take effect for a full 12 hours after they drank it, leading them to believe that the love potion was in fact one of duds, only for it to activate at the worst possible time; homeroom of their all girl highschool (this event being the starting scene for the roleplay). There was no preparing them for what was about to occur, what these girls would affectionately label the "Girlpacolypse", the day their lives would possibly change forever. The change brought by the potion instantly made them among the few possible love interests at the school, hitting all of the girls who laid eyes on them with an intense burst of emotion. Luckily such a drastic effect would wear off after twelve additional hours had passed, dwindling back down to them being like normal (just with the mentioned inhibitions still removed). At least for now all of the potion drinkers were to become the target of several adoring fan girls with little to no warning. It wouldn't cause them to do anything illegal unless they were alright apt for doing such things, but even so the potion drinkers were understandably creeped out and unsettled by this sudden and drastic change of their fellow students. They tried to escape them and find a way to undue the effects before it was too late, coming up with the plan to reach Hillbury Hill Magical Vender and force the old woman to do something to help out. Even with her poor success rate she must have some way of undoing this, right? RIGHT?!?!?! Some cling to the hope of changing their fate, some accept it, and some embrace it. Which will you chose?
The Inner Workings...
So what exactly will we do in this roleplay? Character development, romance (nothing R rated), comedy, and drama for the most part. Besides exploring the daily life of our newfound "curse" while in school and the dorm rooms that they live in, other plots can come about as they hear of rumors how to undue the effects of love potion, leading to wacky hijinks. However, as the plot goes on some of them might realize that they might not want to remove the curse after all, or even if they remove the curse they wish to maintain the relationships that they have built up during their time spent together, trusting that their love will remain even after the love potion is over with. The plot will not dictate our character's actions, so the plot outcome is not set in stone. It's up to us how we will proceed in a way that will feel natural to our characters.
So what characters can we have? The plot revolves around the girls who drank the love potion and those who fall in love with them, so that should be where most of the characters are. It's possible to have teacher characters, although they will be more easily made into NPC's. The main characters who can't be NPC's are the girls who drank the potion, as the fangirls who follow them around can just be NPC's if we don't get enough people involved. Someone can also be Malinda, the old lady shop owner, but she will remain mostly as a mysterious sideline person rather then actively hanging out with us. That being said she'd be more like a part time character for someone on the side, which I'll take that role if nobody else wants to. She might have some assistants helping out at the vendor, which could be boys or girls. It's possible that there is also a talking cat.
So what is it you read about magic? Well, magic does exist in this fantasy world. It's not Earth, but it's like modern day Earth in a lot of ways besides that detail. Some rare individuals have magical talent, which I will not put much restrictions on. Stopping time, turning invisible, shooting lightning, etc. is all fare game in this world, although most people cannot do more then one type of magic. This is not a school for magic, it's just that some people would naturally have magic and come to this school. There's a teacher here who's an expert at stopping any and all magic, so don't try to break the plot with your magic or you will be stopped. Besides humans there are also other races such as elves or even made up races of your own. I will not approve too many of the same race besides humans, so no hundreds of sparkling vampires running around. Humans can have multiple different hair colors and styles like in anime, so spiky blue hair won't cause anyone to bat an eyelash. Despite being modern age, the magic stuff might cause people to seem more like they're in medieval age in some regards. For example they have access to laptops, but also enjoy sword fighting and stuff rather then guns.
1. Standard roleplay rules apply. No god moding or killing other people's characters. Being an overpowered character isn't as big of an issue due to this not being a fighting based roleplay, but if your character has a power to break the plot then it will be banned or stopped by the teacher no matter what you say.
2. Nothing R rated. No graphic descriptions of private areas (so does that mean you can graphically describe an ear? Umm...weird question, but...sure???). The same rule goes for violence, if for some reason that occurs, and no excessive foul language. Keep this all PG-13, and don't make it a hard PG-13 either. Move things to PM if it goes too far and just fade the IC post to black.
3. If you'll be gone for more then a week, warn me first. If you haven't posted in that amount of time I can do whatever I want with your character to move the plot along.
4. You may have more then one character.
5. You may still join this as long as I don't post at the top of the page that you can no longer join.
6. I can add more rules as needed.
Age: (Keep between 16 to 20 if a student, which will be the range the potion will work on. A rare exception might be for some races that experience age differently)

Race: (If making one up, explain)
Magic: (Not all characters will have magic)
Appearance: (Picture or description)

Love Potion: (Positive or negative)

Goddess of Chaos
Name : Yume Umachā
Age : 16
Gender : Female
Sexuality : Undecided
Race : Human
Magic : Dream World : With this ability Yume can create beautiful dream worlds in the sleeping or open minds around her, at least that's how she does it so far. She could if she wanted also create Nightmare worlds of such horror that it could leave her victims catatonic.
Personality : Yume is a quiet and studious girl who's only real flaw is her curiosity. She can't stand a sealed box, closed door or untested treat. She is fiercely loyal to her friends and tries to make friends with anyone she spends any time with.
History : Yume is an only child to a famous Actress and a father who is an International Industrialist. She rarely sees her parents due to their busy schedules but she is loved deeply by both.
She could be spoiled if she allowed it but takes only what she needs from her parents.
She never talks about who her Parents are because she knows it would change the way people think about her.
Up until recently she was attending an all girls primary school in Geneva Alpsland because it was her father's office location. When he received his latest transfer it brought him here and he his daughter.
Love Potion : Positive

I forgot to mention the official school uniform. What she has on is fine.

A lot of places have the age of consent at 16, so it would be best if you upped her a year to avoid any implications.
EDIT: Oh yeah, and it might be handy to know who drank the love potion so people will know if enough of those spots have been filled. The actual act of us going to the vender and drinking it can be in flash backs, revealing our choices as to why we drank it and all that good stuff later on.

Goddess of Chaos
Correcting age and also adding Positive potion slot
Character Accepted. I'll add a list to the bottom of my first page.
I doubt I'll have my character ready before I go to bed, so it will probably be posted tomorrow.
I just felt like starting off here with that.

Goddess of Chaos
I see Yume trying the potion because of her curiosity and because at 16 she's never been kissed by anyone but her mom an dad
You know the Typical Anime girl or boy that age's dilemma "Is something wrong with me, Why don't I have a lover an I never been Kissed"
I've seen enough Anime an read enough Manga to know how desperate teens become when they reach the age of 15 or 16
It is a right of passage
I can actually see the initial potion effect on or school mates as being akin to the Walking Dead where they all are stalking us as if we were their next meal, pardon the pun but I'm sure you get the drift.
"Run Yume they've spotted us!" A friend an sister of the curse screams as she and Yume are forced from hiding. More than a 100 of their former classmates rush after the two screaming like crazed fangirls
I might have a character who tries it out of an experiment to document the effects of all the various magical items at the magical vender.
Curious if you wanted a teacher character? This entire premise looks mighty interesting but...as a male I kinda am not comfortable in playing a girl....so I thought teacher.
If not that's cool...I'll just stalk you all
