Time and Magic [Mythical Nica & Vervatine]
Everything was darkness with violent flashes of lights for one Harry Potter, dodging, hexing and screaming obscenities at his enemies to hide his growing terror at losing... at dying... at his friends dying, even, as who was he if he had no friend? Just Boy the Freak, nothing more, that was! So that was with the desperate resolve of someone with nothing to lose that the young teen battled the most feared terrorists in Britain, the Death Eaters. They were more numerous, older and more skilled than the ragtag group of teenagers who had foolishly attempted a rescuing mission for their leader's godfather, and they were losing. They didn't stand a chance, really, but just as everything seemed to be lost, Albus Dumbledore and the Order of the Phoenix arrived.
Overjoyed at the sight and already seeing himself and his friend safe, Harry didn't notice the blasting hex heading his way in the circular room he found himself in, and was unprepared for the impact that sent him right into the Time Room, where all the Time Turners in the Ministry's possession were gathered. He landed with a crash and the breaking of glass, and know nothing more as darkness once more engulfed him.
When he came to, the young Potter found himself sprawled on a bed, with a young and pretty witch tending to his wounds in a definitely magical hospital room. Seeing that he was awake, she smiled and said something in a rough and strange language that sounded like the few words of German that Harry knew. Shaking his head, he told his savior the only thing that passed through his head:
“I don't understand you, Miss...”
A look of comprehension flashed on the mediwitch's, for she was one, face then, and she smiled once more, “Oh, an Englishman, what brings you here? You collapsed in the middle of Berlin's shopping center and earned the Obliviators quite a magical work out!” With that she giggled slightly, the the embarrassment of the wizard under her care.
It took quite a bit of time, but Harry was able to gain some information on his whereabouts, panicking after he discovered that he was in fact thirty years in the past, and was in an unknown country to boot, as the young man was far from being well traveled. It didn't sink in yet, for he would surely be far more desolate than intrigued... right?
Set up to meet the mediwitch's younger sister soon to get settled and find a job to earn a place to stay as well as a way to learn more magic, one Harry Potter was now nervously awaiting his new guide a day later to start his new life, and trying not to panic, as there would surely be a way to persevere, as life had never been kind to him. He was Fate's Laughingstock, and he swore that he would meet his friends one day, no matter when!
The Daylight Ghost
When asked if she'd be willing to serve as someone's guide and assistant, she agreed without hesitation. The young maiden considered this to be a prime opportunity in which to begin her medical training. Although not an accomplished mediwitch like her sister, she was finally presented a chance to start along her journey. Proper medical training programs were expensive, making her own enrollment through traditional methods impossible to afford. Her elder sister was given the full ride through school, but only because her grades were truly impressive. Biological sisters, similarities in appearances and personalities...yet, they're completely different.
"Are you sure this is something that you can handle?"
The dark-haired female nodded, nervously adjusting the length of her beige trench-coat. "I can, sister. I promise."
Apparently pleased to hear those words, the elder woman simply smiled in response. She opened the doorway, walking inside with the other woman following closely from behind. They came along and passed several rows of beds, some occupied and others absent of bodies.
"What's his name?"
"You'll have to ask him yourself, dear."
The girl huffed, folding her arms in slight annoyance. She at least wanted to know some information on this stranger before being acquainted. It wasn't long before a bed finally came into view, a young male seated at the bedside, and they approached the mysterious figure slowly. Her sister introduced herself again, then motioned a gloved hand towards her company.
"This is my younger sister, Helena."
"Nice to meet you, sir." Helena stumbled over her own tongue, finding the words rather difficult to formulate. "What's your name?"
(I'm so sorry for this terrible introduction. I'm still sick and really just wanted a reply to be posted. I promise my writing shall get better.)
