Finally, the Dragon clan & Elf clan have met with an understanding, & are willing to put their differences aside. As a peace offering of sorts, the elves give their crown princess to the future king of the dragons as a bride to further solidify the treaty. However, the road to peace is riddled with racism between the clans, which may tear apart the hope for a peaceful union.
Sylvia, the proud princess of the Elfen kingdom kept her head held high as she & her lady-in-waiting were escorted into the capitol of the dragon clan's kingdom. She was to meet her groom today, the man she was to unite kingdoms with. The only problem with this joyous occasion was that she was not a dragon by any means. The accusing eyes of passing citizens did not go unnoticed, but Sylvia kept her gaze confident, & encouraged her fellow elf to do the same. These people must never see her falter, or she would never be recognized as their queen.
All was well so far, though. No one dared to attack the crown prince's bride, even if she was a member of the sworn enemy. Sylvia thought curiously to herself what her groom was like, & how he would treat her. All that she knew was that she was glad that it wasn't her brother who would be marrying her. She'd heard of that terrible, racist, violent man, & wanted no part of his terrifying attitude.
River glared down from the throne room at the women approaching on their gilded horses, barely restraining himself from going down there himself & destroying them in his true form. It disgusted him that by this time next week, his brother would be kissing one of those filthy wood creatures & taking it as his bride. It it were up to him, the women would be dead already, hung in the town square for all to see.
"If you have any pride in your position as crown prince, put an end to this madness & send those harlots home," River told his brother angrily, his red eyes glowing dangerously, "I cannot believe our father accepted a marriage between you & log slime. I cannot believe that you will have to mate with it & run a country with it as well!"
