Birthdate: September 20th, 2010/October 30th, 2011
Andrew and Josie
Weight: 175 lbs
Background: Born in Whitehorse, Yukon, Andrew and his sister Josephine grew up the son and daughter of Jaeger Pilots, Colonel James Ryan and Lieutenant Ashley Ryan were the intertwined pilots of the Moon Dragon, a powerful Jaeger that was soley responsible for the deaths of over ten Kaiju during the Kaiju wars. Since they were but children, they wanted to be like their parents. They were a natural match too! Signing up for the Jaeger program when they turned twenty and getting right in the "Wolf Zulu". They were the perfect fighting team, though there were no Kaiju to fight, they still proved themselves to be fantastic together in simulations and in combat tests and had seen all around the world by 2030. They were both even able to keep up with their studies in addition to being "rockstars". Though Andrew was mainly interested in something practical, like electronics engineering -he loves himself some videogames-, Josephine studied into the "Science of Jaegers" and quickly became a specialist in addition to a pilot.
However, it all came to an end on July 12th, 2035. Ajaccio, Corsica. Blackvein. They were deployed alongside the Echo Spear to destroy the monster with extreme prejudice. Both teams were eager to fight their first Kaiju, but neither was prepared for Blackvein's unpredictable attacks and in the end of the catastrophic fight, a spine shot right into the head of the Wolf Zulu and through Josephine's right leg. Thanks to the Echo Spear finishing blackvein off quickly while it was distracted by the Wolf Zulu, her life was saved but her career wasn't. Least not as a Pilot. Turns out that being an expert in the Science of Jaegers was a good thing as she was quickly reassigned to the science team in Vancouver over the next couple days. As was Andrew.
Personality: Andrew is the Joker of the two, often trying to make Morale high, though not at the expense of anybody but himself. He is also kind and, when not joking around, is actually quite quiet, only speaking when necessary and when he is with his Jaeger Partner. He often plays games on his phone when bored or off in his own dreamland. He has been a lot more quiet as of late, his jokes have stopped mostly since his sister lost her leg. He's a bit unsure of how he'll handle with another pilot considering that she had been his partner his entire life. Speaking of Josie, she however is the talker, she often has to be told to shut up, though she won't. She's more likely to say the truth as well, often making her seem harsh or unkind, though she means the best. Since losing her leg, she's had a bit of a bleaker look on the world, thinking that she is nowhere near as useful in the lab as she was in a Jaeger.
Complete with Ultra-heavy duty "Kaiju Acid-proof" deployable shield in the right arm and a powerful extendable Tesla-enhanced sawblade in the left arm, jetpack in the back, rocket elbows, misslepods in the shoulders, and cannons in the knees to top it all off. The Arctic Thunder is the pride and joy of the Canadian people and is the farthest ahead in Jaeger technology compared to the might of the united states Jaegers an the power of the Russian jaegers.
"This 2125 tons of badass Jaeger is the flagship that will lead the world to victory against the Kaiju menace. We promise you that!"
In addition to the powerful weapons and armor on the Arctic Dragon, it takes a nod from the great Gypsy Danger and has a core of Nuclear power and Hardened systems that are proven to be completely immune to Electro-magnetic Pulse of any kind!* But the one problem with it is that it has no pilots...least, not yet.
*note, not testing against Kaiju
