The continent of Tyrith has always been a tranquil world. For centuries, each of the five nations of Tyrith have stood by an oath to maintain peace throughout the realms known as the White Pact, and has contributed to the forwarding of human civilization in the ways of architecture, industry, magic and culture. Prologue: Shadow of a Doubt
"Again!" His voice was sharp and commanding, a drastic contrast to the soft grass field that was the castle courtyard. "How can the four of you call yourselves the children of King Randal IV if you cannot even fell a simple knight?" Zachary of Aelae, the lead general of the Royal Guard, stood a staggering seven feet tall. He wore a magnificent sapphire and gold clad armor that displayed the kingdom's emblem upon it, a navy sword with golden wings. In his left hand he held a greatsword almost as tall as he. He was anything but simple. His snow-white hair blew in the gentle wind, and his ice blue eyes twinkled in the bright sun. His chiseled face complemented his stature and demeanor, he was the one that all armed forces of the kingdom took orders from. But today he was not the commander of a nation's army, he was the combat instructor of four inspiring Lords. Before him stood the heir to the throne, Prince Randal V. His agile approach to sword-play contrasted with Zachary's tactical one. Besides the young Randal stood his even younger siblings, Kasuma, Nora and Azel. They were all proficient in their form of combat, but Zachary was not yet satisfied with their skill.
"This lesson will not be dismissed until I am bested on this battlefield. I have all the time in the world to sit here and stop your feeble attempts to hit me, and if this continues until the next rising of the sun, then so be it."
With that, he rose his blade before him, ready to fend off their next attack.
