I used to roleplay back in the early 2000's, even owned my own DC RPG Forum. I need to brush up and improve on my writing, character design, story development, etc, and thought this would be a fun way to do it. I'm rusty and out of practice, and this is a skill I need to work on because of the career I've chosen to go to school for. Maybe it'll come back to me sooner than I think.... I hope.
I'm looking for a Justice League RP that allows custom characters, doesn't have a strict story I have to adhere to, friendly members, still busy, and isn't PG or PG-13 only. I'm worried though because I've been Googling for several hours and everything I find is either PG-13 about teen titans, old and dead or currently dying, or only allowing original DC characters.
I dug up an old character, and I'm putting double effort into his character. Rebuilding him based on his original concept, refining him, rebuilding certain parts while throwing out others, etc. I promise my character is really interesting, and will be a lot more interesting if someone can help me. I'd really like to meet some experienced RPers I could RP with who can assist me in getting back on my feet and maybe aid me in improving my writing ability. I'm interested in all of it. Character creation, story development, action, mystery, suspense, creative thinking, social interactions, friendships, romantic and sexual relationships. All of it. I haven't done this in about ten years, though I do have more life experience now.... so I think that will help. At any rate, I want to get better.
