Evelyn Icerosť/ Skybreaker
Playful young captain of the Daybreak. Spunky and determined, she's an Aera that lacks wings. Instead, she flies using the Trillion Step, pair of winged boots that appear in the stuff of legend. IN other words, they're a treasure. Though she's the captain, she's not the strongest member of the crew, meaning she relies heavily upon her team.
The airship's Aera backup engineer.
Akuto/eddieddi The Airship's Pyra engineer. Also a gunner.
Urek Mazino/ Shoske
An Aqua bounty hunter, he's currently serving as a bomb, a combat unit.
Ekatarzyna "Kat" Zye/ Emmer
A young Pyra gypsy who serves as the crew's translator and entertainer.
Alexander Crimson/ eddieddi
Star Drop- A type of shiny, lustrous, silver metal. They are exceedingly valuable, and if made into weapons, can slay even the strongest of creatures. They are treasures that many seek.
Khale Crystal- A crystal that harbors extreme magical power. They are mined from the surface of Khale. They are needed for airships to take flight.
Imodan- Sky whales. With their wing like appendages where their flippers should be,
Imodan resemble whales in every way. They are a big source of food to airship crews.
Harae- Winged fish. Luke the Imodan, they are a good source of food.
*Note: This is really brief.
In the world of Khale, a person's heart means a lot to them. After all, their hearts are the key to their youth. They age normally, but once they turn 21, their aging stops. In theory they can stay young forever. However, if their hearts are punctured or wounded, the aging continues. There are four types of people: Aqua, Aera, Terra, and Pyra. This represents their element, which plays a key role in their magic and powers. However,
their powers are not limited to manipulation of their element. In fact, most people can't control their element itself, but their powers are connected to it. For instance, an Aera may have the ability to form tornadoes, and a Terra may have the power to create golems put of the earth.
Terra- Earth. Their appearance may be slightly on the fury animal side, so they may have furry animal ears
Aqua- Water. Their appearance may be similar to that of our merfolk. Their fish tail transforms into human legs when dry, but only a drop of water is needed to reveal it once again.
Pyra- Fire. Their appearance is mostly human, although they may have salamander scales somewhere on their body.
Aera- Air. The only difference in their appearance is they may have angel-like wings. Or feathers sprouting
from their body.
Five centuries ago, the young scientist Zelia made an uncanny discovery- how to make things fly. The secret is in Khale Crystals, rocks that can be found almost anywhere. The crystals are placed in a spherical item called the Zelia Ball, which causes the area they are in to fly. This sounds complicated. But it's actually not. If a Zelia Ball is placed inside a ship, the ship will then float. The captain has their hands on the ball, and they mentally move it to where they want it to go.
Shortly after the Zelia Ball was publicized, it started a new craze- airships. These are sailing ships that fly in the air. With airships developed, Sky Pirates also developed. Though called pirates, the correct teem would be freelancers, bounty hunters, and antiheroes. Their crews are pretty small and young, and they search for treasures.
Now onto the story's actual plot
The town of Theno is a small Sky Island, a whole town floating in the sky due to Zelia Balls. The town itself has nothing special about it, though many airships loaded with
travelers pass through. The town's economy is
built on ranches, inns, and local businesses. There are a few schools, though they teach skills such as use of power. Once day, a crew of Sky pirates come into town. Tired of hunting for treasure, they propose a challenge. If anyone can land a successful hit on
their captain- just a scratch- that person will be the rightful owner of the airship. The crew of course was not included. Entranced by the proposal, a youth of Theno
accepts the challenge and miraculously strikes the captain on his feathered cap. (S)he is the new captain of the airship. Deciding to embrace their dream of adventure, they recruit some friends. Armed with only each other and a library's worth of knowledge on the ship, the new crew heads out- unaware of the dangers that inhabit the skies of
That's my plot! Please ask/suggest anything you have in mind! Anyways, keep in mind the
first set of
characters will all know each other, so maybe take this thread as a chance to perhaps synchronize bios with
other players. Siblings and close friends, for example. I would like a co-GM to assist me with building and running the roleplay!
Other roles must be asked to be included.
Rules and Regulations-
-Must roleplay in third-person. Not first, not second.
-Try your best to make the characters realistic. No love at first sight, either.
-No being mean in the OOC! It's fine if your characters hate each other, but don't bully the person outside
-Use at least 8 sentences per post.
-It's fine if you want your character to 'go with the flow,' but if they don't do anything, they're not that interesting.
-If for some reason, you lose interest in the RP, PM me and we can think of a way to remove your character in a realistic manner.
-If you're going to be gone for a long period of time, PM me or post it in the OOC.
-If you activity pledge, it means you will post a minimum of once every three days. I know real life gets in the way, so just tell us in the OOC if you won't be able to post and I'll excuse it.
-No Mary sues or Gary sues. There is no favorite child of the universe in this roleplay, everyone will have
problems and hardships!
-The roleplay will have violence, but don't include it in every post.
-If you run out of ideas for a post, don't make stupid sentences just to fill it up. It's not that big of a deal.
-You can have as many characters as you can handle.
-Add upon the plot! It's basic and dull, the players need to add to it to make it interesting!
-Don't break your activity pledge!
-Include the phrase 'We will find the Star Drops' in your CS
-As the GM I will always have the last say.
Mechanics on Powers and Battle:
- Players will be assigned their Soul Bursts, though they can pick from a small list.
- The sub elements are as follows:
Terra- Earth, Metal, Gemstone
Aqua-Water, Ice, Snow
Aera- Air, Shadow, Lightning
Pyra- Fire, Light, Lava
- A character's stats affect their performance. They can't have a low attack stat and land a one hit KO on an enemy!
- Many battles will be collabs using Titanpad. It's an online document that can be edited by many people at once. The twist? You don't need an account.
~Will be edited soon!
