The pinkette walked in to the dressing room where everyone was ready to get to work. This was her favorite part, to get ready. Well she didn't really get to do it herself, other people were assigned to do it, which she wished was the other way around. She always enjoyed doing her own make up and what not, but now that she was a singer, people had to make sure she looked absolutely perfect. 'Linnea' That's all she was called, no one ever gave her a last name on stage. Linnea was it. It was her real first name, but ever since she started in the industry it has just become a stage name. Most of her close family members called her Linny, and her friends called her Nea. She always loved being called Linnea until she heard it everywhere.
They decorated her face in vibrant colors and hues, making her look absolutely stunning. The solo star of the decade, well that's what they all said. She didn't really mind the fame, she only wanted to sing in big crowds. She did have a big house, but that was because she lives with her family, and made a place for them all to live. She's paid off all of her schooling debts and is paying for her two sibling to attend colleges at the moment. She's only doing it because her family were the only people who believed in her.
A few public concerts around town, and she was being noticed by big record dealers around the nation. They say she has an interesting style and her voice is like silk, she never really cared what people said, as long as she could sing. They began to tease her hair and her face scrunched while she stared at herself in the mirror. She hated this part, always so tender-headed and her rosa colored hair couldn't take such damage from the stylist who's life depended on doing something wild with her hair. That was another thing that caught people's attention, her hair was naturally a bold pink. She winced a few times as bobby pins were stabbed in to her head. She rolled her eyes slightly as she could hear her clothing designer screaming down the hall. I said black! Not silver, black! Fix it! Fix it right now! We have less than an hour stop screwing around!"
Manuel walked in after his temper tantrum and smiled at the stardom. ""Just like I pictured. You look great!" Linnea got up from her seat and smiled up at Manuel with a small laugh. "Of course it's what you pictured. If I looked any different you'd have a melt down." She laughed as she picked up the bottle of water to take a sip. She would be performing tonight for the grammy awards, which she had a chance of getting multiple tonight, but so did the unknown band that had came out of no where and stole the hearts of millions. Linnea's true competition. She would have the chance of meeting the person who they say is the main in the band, after her performance she would be sat right next to him.
They brought out the outfit, and it was sparkled out and black. Her eyes widened a bit, it was bit revealing also. She wondered why she was wearing sheer hoses on her legs, she usually would wear leggings, but this was short and small. The man smiled at her as if she was not to worry. She was eighteen now, and a little skin wouldn't be bad. Her music wasn't a hundred percent family oriented anyways. She shrugged and grabbed it gently from him, making her way to the back to put it on with a pair of black pumps. She always got nervous, because once she was dressed she would be on her way to the stage. They smiled at her as she came out and waved her to the halls on the way to the stage. While they were walking, she could hear the host going on about the show, and now they are taking it to commercial.
Here it goes. She was placed under the stage to be hoisted up. Her mentor gave her a thumbs up and she was ready. Butterflies twisted and turned in her stomach as the music began to play and the stage opened up. She was more excited as the people began to scream. When her body popped up everyone stood and clapped and she began to put on the show. She danced around, and belted her heart out as people danced along. This was what she loved to do, the show went on for about five more minutes and then she was off the stage. Everyone behind the scenes appluaded with excitement, and Linnea wore a smile on her face the entire time.
