I got this idea for a forum RPG. You see, most of the games i'm seeing here are free formed games where there are no stats and stuff whatsoever. I plan on making a game that features stats and that I as a GM decide the outcome of things. Mostly I only want to use stats and stuff for any fighting or skills (like climbing or swimming), all the other things such as exploring in the field mainly work how the other games here work. (You know, narrative style and you guys come up with things.)
There's only 3 stats:
And you choose Average, Above Average, and Below Average for your character. You also have Skills you can use. When you LV up you can either increase a Skill by 1 or obtain a new one. Then there's HP and SP (Skill Points).
Pretty simple, another thing I was thinking for this game is for there to be a Support System like in Fire Emblem which show your relationship with other players. It has four ranks: C, B, A, and S with C being the lowest and S being the highest. This system would be used for "Multi-Attacks" in which two players or more combine their attacks into one powerful move.
The last thing I have in mind is "Combo Chain Moves" in which you use SP to chain together multiple attacks.
I have a lot more in mind but I need to see if you guys are interested. The game is set in a world with a futuristic setting in which the Crystal Tower Of Time, a tower that keeps track of time, has predicted it's destruction and the end of the world in the near future after it opens a portal to a medieval time period. So a medieval and futuristic setting are linked together and the story revolves around solving this issue.
