I Would Never Run (OOC; pix1354 & batsnacks)
Hello! Here are the character sheets. I'm sorry if mine look messed up or something-- I did this while on my phone.
Name: Aidan Benson
Sexuality: Questioning, but is somewhat aware that he's more attracted to males.
Aidan has it pretty well-off when it comes to financial situations. His father is the owner of a rather well-known company, while his mother is a lawyer with a good reputation. Aidan has an older sister, Mackenzie, who's in college and is also very successful. But he hasn't seen her for three years now, and they were never close. Especially since Aidan always felt his parents favored her.
As far as school goes, Aidan is pretty smart and gets decent grades. Only a bit above average, but for the most part standard. That's never good enough for Aidan's parents, though. And that causes him to feel extremely pressured. Usually he's so caught up with trying to do his best with school work that he never goes out to do things he enjoys, and tries to refrain from making friends because he feels they're too much of a distraction.
His relationship with his parents definitely 'needs work'. Typically, he's closer with his mother because she doesn't give him such a hard time, like his father. In fact, his father has often said how he never wanted two kids in the first place, and that Aidan was a 'mistake'. There have been plenty of other nasty remarks from his father, though. His mother does nothing to stop them. Occasionally she'll even agree, but most of the time she says nothing. Due to all this, Aidan has an extremely low self-esteem.
Most of the time Aidan is very reserved, and doesn't exactly care for socializing. But once he gets comfortable around you, he's actually rather talkative and more outgoing. Naturally, he's very sarcastic and tends to have a lot of backbone--except when it comes to his parents. If he feels inferior around you he's extremely submissive, and he also has a tendency to seek constant approval from someone. It's all he wants, really...and he's definitely willing to go to extremes.
- He's a bit underweight. Standing at 5'7" and being roughly 115 pounds.
- Aidan has never told anybody about his attraction to males. He has been attracted to females before, but it's not quite as recognized. So he's very unsure. Either way, his family is definitely not accepting when it comes to homosexuality.
But Aidan never found anything wrong with it, despite being raised with the belief that it was wrong.
Hope my character is okay. If there's anything you want me to change, let me know. (:
Name: Ellis Coleman
Sexuality: He is homosexual, but due to low self-esteem has never been in a relationship. He thinks that he is a horrible person who doesn't deserve to be happy.
Appearance: Sorry, he doesn't usually smolder like this. He’s actually rather awkward.
Brief Bio: When Ellis was very young, his father committed suicide, leaving him to be raised by his alcoholic, verbally abusive mother. This eventually progressed into physical abuse, and Ellis was placed in protective custody at 12 years old when a teacher noticed the bruises. He spent the next six years in foster care, diligently saving all of his money in order to rent an apartment when he turned 18, but even then he could barely afford it. He worked as a waiter until he was 23 so he could afford to pay his rent, but when the restaurant went out of business, he couldn't find another job.
Personality: Ellis is rather quiet and shy, but he isn't afraid of people – he’s afraid of making a fool of himself in front of them. He doesn't talk much around strangers, but he likes to listen to people, and he will talk relatively openly in front of those he feels comfortable with. Growing up with an abusive mother severely injured Ellis’ self-esteem. He was called worthless and stupid, and his mother often blamed him for his father’s suicide. After a while, Ellis began to believe her, and has hated himself ever since. Despite his shy nature, Ellis will do anything to survive, be it legal or not. He has shoplifted food on several occasions when he couldn't afford it, and now that he has no job, he has begun to partake in risky behavior much more often.
Other Info: N/A, but please let me know if you have any questions!
