Samuel looked at the files on his computer. As much as I like being the deputy headmaster, Samuel thought, I wish they had given me a 'to do' list. Samuel got up and hovered a few inches off of the ground, and circled his desk once. "What to do, what to do." He said. He got himself back onto the ground and sat back down in his chair. Samuel clicked through the registers for the classes, then stopped for a moment. "Hey, why aren't the first years registered yet?" Samuel said to himself, then realized his mistake and slapped himself, grinning. "Of course they aren't registered. They haven't went to a class yet. It's their first day." He said, and peered through some of the first years' profiles. "Phasing? Nice. A wolf-boy? Seems interesting. A girl with a shield? Also interesting." Samuel looked at what was seen of their powers. For all he knew, they could have powers that they haven't shown yet. Samuel locked his computer, got up and left his office to go for a walk, and possibly break up any fights that could happen. He exited his office and walked down the corridor.
James finished unpacking his items, and he put all of his clothes in a closet as well. He put his suitcase under his bed, and looked at his tail. He raised it upright, and he pointed his wolf ears straight up. This is a good day. James thought to himself. He looked at his watch, then thought for a moment about what he should do. Then he knew. He exited his room and retraced his steps back to the entrance of the school, ignoring the wolf part of his brain that screamed "Kill, kill, kill," in his head as he walked past people. James walked out of the building's door and walked to one of the trees beside the entrance. He looked up, then started climbing the tree. Once he was near the top, he sat on a branch and looked down at all of the students. Hopefully nobody will notice me up here, James thought.
