The Land of Adther is an enormous land ruled over by the Silver Hand Empire. And while things in the Empire itself is prosperous recently monsters creatures and beasts have been terrorizing the people. But due to a war in the north, the Silver Hand's Military is spread thin and cannot repel the beasts. Because of this the monsters have been attacking trade routes, travelers, and the more gutsy ones have even been attacking cities. To combat these monsters the Emperor of the Silver Hand has created the "Order of Hunters" and tasked them with disposing of these monsters so the Military can focus on defending the borders.
You have been called upon do you have what it takes to protect the Silver Empire from these beasts?

As I said this will be collaborative meaning everyone will have their input. Once we return to our base camp there will be a "mission board" of sorts that anyone who has an idea of a monster to hunt in a scary cave or whatever (these will be posted on OOC) And then votes will be taken on which mission we should take first, All missions will be handled eventually, Unless the poster of the mission PM's me and says take it down. Then that mission will be handled by a different group of hunters. If you post a mission you will be in control of that mission's monsters and story development (unless otherwise asked or if you bail on us I will take control of them)
Combat will be on an Action Reaction system. Where one person will post their actions be it an attack with a bear then must wait for other person to react with parry, dodge, counter, or take the hit, fallowed by their next action of fight or run and such. There will be no Auto hitting unless as i said earlier you go beyond the time limit without giving a proper reason. Even monsters get a chance to react but if you control the monsters be reasonable a wolf won't beat a trained soldier it will hold its own for some time, but you eventfully have to let it take the hit and die. I mean its our job to kill all the Beasts and Creatures after all.

Our Home, The Hunters Hall
On the bottom floor there is the Entry Hall which is lavishly decorated and gives a nice feel of home. After the entry hall is the Common room, its just a nice big furnished room so people can gather and mingle. To the left of the common room is the stairwell that leads upstairs and the Armory. I hope I don't have to explain how stairs work, and the Armory is where you can store and replenish your weaponry and supplies. To the right of the Common Room is the Dinning Hall, a Big room with lots of tables where we go to eat. And connected to that is the Kitchen. And out the back entrance of the common room is the training yard, The Staff Living quarters, and the Forge. the Forge is connected to the Armory and the staff living quarters are where anyone not us sleeps. The second floor of the Hunters Hall is our living area, basically a long hallway with rooms on ether side. at the end of the Hall is the Briefing room where the Job Board sits and where I brief our characters on the known aspects of the selected mission, Luke also treats this as his office. And connected to the back of the briefing room is Luke's Room.
Now we also have ourselves a live in staff,
Personality: Luna is our Maid, Housekeeper and Nurse. She is a very kind and sweet girl that does whatever she can to help. Originally supposed to be the Field Medic and Nurse, A demotion from Luke has left her at the hall as only a nurse. But being a bit of a neat freak she took on the roll of Housekeeper on her own. She will never take anything from your room, it might just be reorganized when you get back from a mission.
History: Being the young daughter of the family Luna was not allowed to enter the Military like her older brother. At first she was angry about this wanting to help and stand beside her brother, but she soon found a way she could help through medicinal herbs and remedies. She was born a natural healer and she was even hired a tutor to study and learn healing magic. As her skill as a healer grew she grew apart from her brother with them rarely seeing each other. Something she later cursed after his disappearance. Luna blamed herself for not being there to help her brother and when he returned she promised herself she wouldn't let him go again and soon joined the Hunters to follow and protect him. Although she is still angry at her demotion she stays with the Hunters tending to the Injured and prepared to sneak after the group if something seems to dangerous.
Name: Jake Honeywell
Personality: Jake is our Blacksmith and resident smart ass. But he is an incredibly hard worker and crafts some of the finest armors and weapons in the land. He may come off as a jerk but he does care about the safety of the hunters, if not his reputation. He makes sure no hunter leaves the hall unprepared.
History: Jake was born into the famous blacksmith family, The Honeywells, he was taught from an early age the way around the forge. Although he always had a skill for forging Jake was always compared to his father's works and he hated it. No matter how hard he tried and how skilled his pieces became he could never escape his fathers shadow. This made Jake a very rough, rebellious boy doing whatever he could to distinguish himself from his father. And eventually he even left the capital and joined the Order of Hunters to make his own name away from those who would compare it to his father's work.
Name: Donny Stonewall
Personality: Donny is the Hunter's chef and overall fatherly figure. He is very nice at times and strict at others. His size can be intimidating at times and for good reason. He will always make sure that the hunters are feed and ready to go on the hunts.
History: Donny was born into the life of a farmer, and spent much of his young life tending to the fields and raising cattle. But this life seemed so bland to Donny and when he was able he left his home to join the military. Donny made a very good soldier and over the years made his way up in the ranks even earning himself the name of "The Silver Hammer" before he retired. But after a few years even Retirement became boring for the old soldier and although he wasn't ready to march back into battle he preferred to help young fighters any way he could. So Donny joined the hunters as a chef and as a voice of experience and reason for the hunters.
All characters start with 550 gold, your basic starting equipment will be taken from this number, so please check the CS and Shop page to set up your starting equipment.
