A long, dark hallway is stretched out before you, cells on either side. The bars are rusted but still unbreakable. There is various smells filling the air but most the prominent smell is mold mixed with sweat. If you happened to look inside one of the cells you would find a surprise. For it wouldn't be a human prisoner staring back at you. No, these cells hold something very different than the average human being. These cells hold monsters.

Grey eyes stared out from the darkness of a cell at the far end of the block, glowing slightly in the dim lighting. The body attached to the eyes slowly came into focus. Long hair tumbled well past her waist, the brown color now almost black from the amount of dirt and grim collected on the strands. Her pale skin smudged by dirt and in some spots, blood was littered in scars and bruises, the marks standing out against her skin. Her clothes were torn, the fabric no longer the white it once was. The girl, named Layla was curled up on the pathetic mattress laying on the floor in the corner, seeming to try and become one with the wall behind her, frightened eyes on the door to her cell.
"Let me out."
A voice demanded inside her head. The voice of her other half. Her demon side.
"Lilith, you know I can't do that. If I do you'll probably just get us killed."
Layla could practically see the scowl on Lilith's face.
"But look where we are at Layla: forced to fight with other supers. I can get us out, just let me have control!"
Layla's eyes flashed bright red for a moment before she squeezed her eyes shut, hands flying to her head.
"Stop it!" She shouted out-loud.
After a few moments, the internal battle for control subsided and Layla slowly lowered her hands. Lilith was now quiet, fuming silently in the back of Layla's mind.
In a cell right next to the half-angel, half-demon girl a girl with cat ears and a tail was sitting in a corner glaring daggers at the door of her cell, seeming to try and melt it with the heat of her gaze. She once again tried to transform into a large cat but all she received was a shock from the collar around her neck. She hissed in irritation as she was only able to change into small cats. Her lashed back and for while her ears were pressed flat against her head.
