    Tokyo Sessions: Jonathan Bourdeau

    The Training

Location: A small abandoned shrine roughly two days drive outside of Tokyo.
Reason: Stéphane said the statues and such would make for good target practice.

Stéphane and Jonathan got along swimmingly for the most part of their training, the biggest problem actually being Jonathan's attitude. Throughout the training he always found something to complain about, whether it be the condition of where he slept, the food, though most often it would be the 'Social Interaction' Training. It was mostly Stéphane's way of putting talking to woman, though he also threw in talking to contracters and the like.
Stéphane would punish him whenever he did happen to complain, often being something along the lines cleaning up the damage they inflicted during training. This squabble ended around half-way throught the second month, as Jonathan found it was just not worth it to complain about it. It never changed, funny that.
Happily enough, Stéphane procured a pair of replacement glasses about half a week into the first month. This helped tremendously with Jonathan's aiming. He ensured that they where also tinted glass, ensuring he would never have to worry about sun-glasses.
Over the six months that Jonathan trained, it mostly followed this general schedule, though it would change if the circumstances didn't allow certain 'activities'.

Jonathan sighed as he sat beside Stéphane the sun setting outside the small ruined patio of the shrine. He sipped at a small cup of tea and thought to himself. All in all, the training wasn't so bad. In fact, he actually enjoyed learning from the great hitman. He idly flicked an empty bullet casing away from where he sat. They littered the ground surround the shrine ever since they had arrived. Admittedly, during the past six months he had been able to blow off alot of anger that had gathered during his life. He honoustly felt relaxed for the first time in his life.

Stéphane glanced over at Jonathan, deep in thought, before looking back at the setting sun. How ironic that he seemed so at peace now, yet only six short months ago, he had enough repressed anger to level a building with. He also took a sip of tea. He spoke softly, his accent only barely apparent.
"Jonathan. I've very much enjoyed my time training you. You are a very good student."

A small smile crossed Jonathan's face before he replied in a tone equally soft.
"No. I merely had very good teacher."
Stéphane smiled at this, and took another sip of tea. They both looked back out on the sunset, it's fading light reflecting off of the hundreds of empty bullet casings littering the ground.

"Beautiful view isn't it?" A ghostly voice spoke from the ceiling of the shrine. There, somehow latched up there was a man hanging upside down, smiling down at the two. The disturbing thing about it was that most of his body was hidden in the darkness, so only his pale face could be seen. It was like looking at a floating head. Part of the man's face had a detailed design tatooed that made him appear even more bizarre than what he already was. His head tilted to the side, and his smile faded. "My, my, and to think you're the same cowardly jonathan Bourdeau who ran away from home." His jet black eyes moved over to Stéphane, "I'm impressed with what you done with him."

"Enough with this shit, Xavier. Let's just do the damn job." A deep, rugged voice boomed from the staircase that led to the shrine. Walking up the ancient, crumbled stairs was a tall, and muscular man of African descent. He was shirtless, and wore only a pair of worn pants that hugged his legs slightly, showing off his powerful leg muscles. His hands were wrapped in what looked like blood stained rope. "Iblis won't be pleased if we fail." The silver paint across his lips glowed over his dark complexion disturbingly.

"Very well...." Was Xavier's cold reply. He dropped from the ceiling with his black cloak still shrouding over most of his body, He was like some kind of phantom who haunted the shrine. The cloak served as a parachute a sit slowed his fall, allowing him to land gracefully along the ground. His black orbs examined the two targets, as he stood there with his cloak shielding away his body from the two. "Allow me to introduce myself. My name's Xavier Phoenix. A member of the 4th Alignment. My intentions should be obvious, right Mr. Bourdeau?"

Jonathan looked at the two men, looking them over quickly. He nodded slowly, his face a expressing more surprise than fear. How the man had sneaked up on them was intrigued him. His voice was similar to his face, expressing surprise more than fear, though fear was most definately there. "Well, of course they're obvious. Your here to kill us. I mean, there's no other reason for two assassins to be here. Unless you intend on clasping your hands in prayer."

Stéphane chuckled a little, surprised his student didn't show more fear. Turning to the two assassin's he pointed at Xavier, a mocking expression on his face. His french accent was heavy as he mocked the man."So you brought Malik along. What's the matter Xavier? Don't think you could handle us on your own so you brought in the big guns?" His statement masked a deep seated fear. He knew he wouldn't be able to kill both of them, even at his best moment the best he could hope for was a stalemate against one.

Both of them glanced at eachother, both of them obviously worried behind their calm facades. Neither was to keen on dying, though Stéphane knew at least one of them might. He sighed a little before turning back to Xavier. Jonathan nearly stared at the intricate facial tattoo that Xavier bore. He had to admit, the tattoo was both an amazing work of art and highly intimidating.

In a blink of an eye, Malik had already moved himself within range of his powerful, long legs to catch the gunslinger. "What was that scum?" With lightning like speed, Malik's leg had crashed into the unsuspecting Stéphane across the shrine. The powerhouse held back a bit to avoid having his fun killed off so quickly, but there was no doubt that Jonathan's teacher was going to be hurting after that one. Malik brought his long leg back to the ground, and his cruel eyes zoomed over to Jonathan. "You say you're impressed, Xavier? I just sent that clown flying on his ass. What makes you think this kid is any good?"

The ghostly man smirked, "I don't think he's out for the count just yet." Xavier turned to face him. He was better suited for fighting him anyway. "I suppose I'll be your opponent." Thick black wires snaked from beneath his cloak as if they were alive; whipping back and forth like serpents. "Go easy on me, okay?"

Jonathan's eyes had opened wide in terror as Malik had sent Stéphane across the shrine with a single kick. This guy didn't fuck around, that was for sure. Despite his terror, he couldn't help but be extremely impressed by the Huge man's strength. Turning his eyes back to Xavier, he laughed nervously as the wires from under his cloak slithered about as if they were snakes. Opening a chrome brief case sitting on the floor beside him, he whipped out a Broken Butterfly with the word 'Ace' engraved on the barrel. He smiled as he leveled the magnum. "For my sake, you know I can't. No hard feelings though?"

Stéphane slowly picked himself up from the monstrous kick. He winced in pain as he did, knowing that at least two of his ribs were broken from the impact. Reaching inside his coat, he laughed painfully as he pulled out a heavily embelished Sawed Off Shotgun. "Well, the rumors didn't lie. You really are everything your cracked up to be Malik. There are worse ways to go than going out fighting I suppose." Leveling his Gun with one hand, he made a slight gesture with the other. "Your move, big guy."

The wires started to spark a bit on the ground, jumping around more wildly than before. "Ehh, I suppose you can't." Xavier moved his hands from underneath his cloak. They were ripped free of their nails, and were horribly scarred from third degree burns. Reminders of what happened those times when he was caught. Past those days when he was a suave, and considerate young man. He could have blamed Iblis for what happened to him, but Xavier himself chose to join that manipulative man. Yoshida may have thought he had the 4th Alignment under his control, but it was the opposite. Iblis is the one who is pulling the strings.

Opening up his cloak to Jonathan's eyes to see, was a shocking sight. A strange mechanical contraption built within his torso. His stomach looked like nothing but a mess of chain, and spikes. "Let's not drag this out..." He said boredly, before a blade shot from his exposed chest; tied to one of the long links of chain that was compacted into Xavier's stomach. The blade flew towards Jon's head at an alarming rate.

"Keh, damn freak." Malik referred to his partner with shrug before cracking his neck loudly. He smirked with excitement once his eyes laid upon the weapon in Stéphane's hand. "Guns are for pussies." He flexed his fist, "Real men only need their bodies as weapons." Anyone would assume that Malik was in for the worst, but in actuality, Malik wasn't. He's fought against plenty of people with firearms before. Not like it this guy was any different.

A rotting pedestal stood beside Malik. With a smirk, he swung his dreadful kick across from it, shattering the already cracking decoration in half. He caught the giant piece with one hand; something that could easily be considered a superhuman feat. Grinning, the wild man dashed forward, throwing the large chunk of concrete towards his opponent as he done so.

Jonathan was shocked by the sight of Xavier's strange, mechanical torso. Half of him wanted to scream in fear. While the other wanted nothing more than to stare at the disturbing, yet strangely intriguing piece of technology. Jumping to the side as to avoid being decapitated, he managed to avoid the most part of the 'weapon'. Though the blade managed to catch a bit of his left ear, causing him to groan a little.
Pulling up his gun, he shot twice at Xavier, one at the man's head, the other at his torso. He chuckled as he did, bringing his free hand up to his torn ear. "Well, I can happily say, you don't seem to be to much of a push over. And your straight to the point!"

Stéphane laughed slightly as he calmly stepped out of the path of the flying concrete chunk. "Well, I suppose that's right! Gun's are for pussies. But then again, this is coming from you, a guy who could most likely take a tank head on and come out the winner!"
Bringing his gun to bear, he shot at the man when he was nearly directly infront of him. At that range, it would be nigh impossible for the man to avoid the two spread shots.

Already preparing for the gunman to fire, Malik smirked, kicking at the man's wrist as soon as he rose the weapon up. His otherworldly strength sent Stéphane's arm off course, so all he succeeded in doing was shot a hole through the ceiling. "A tank? Hah, I guess you've heard that rumor too." Malik took note that the man might have had some hidden firearms, so he stayed on his toes. Flexing his massive hand into a claw, Malik shot his hand forward with the explosive strength of a cannon towards the teacher's exposed chest, threatening to impale him with his fatal strike.

"Dodged it? Not bad Mr. Bourdeau. I'm impressed with your reaction time." The whizzing bullets closed in on Xavier's head. It wasn't like it was the first time...

Two of the black cables whipped across the air, deflecting both bullets successfully from coming into contact with Xavier. They twirled around, sparking venomously as Xavier elevated from the floor. The cables coiled up, and lifted his feet about ten feet from solid ground. "This contraption is odd, is it not?" He asked before two electrifying cables lashed towards Jon from varying angles.

Stéphane laughed a slightly as he jumped out of the way of the powerful strike, dropping his shotgun in the process. Hitting the ground rolling, he pulled out two rather plain Uzis out of his jacket. As he began to fire upon the giant of a man, he chuckled, "So what? Are you saying that the rumor isn't true? Well then how about the, 'Defeating 100 men in combat' one?"

Jonathan laughed nervously as the cables lashed out at him, doing his best to avoid them. "Thank you kindly Mr.Phoenix. I'm so glad you approve!" He fired two more slugs at the man while dodging the cables, though one of them managed to catch his right arm a little, burning a portion of his shirt and numbing his arm. He laughed again and looked up at him as he did, "Why yes. That is an awfully strange contraption, though it's most definately intersting!"

Diving for cover, Malike hid behind another stone column within the shrine. The bullets flying from both sides of him, threatening to strip him of his life if he were to move from his spot. Oh how he hated automatic weapons....The large man began to ponder if it was even possible to get in close without getting torn to shreds by that gunman's onslaught. The loud screams from the uzis only further muffled his ringing cell phone within his pocket. "Keh, wonder who that could be?" Sarcasm to the fullest. Answering the phone, Malik yelled into it over the sound of gunfire, "Yeah!? What?! Fine, whatever! We'll be back shortly then!!" Malik hung up the phone, sliding it down his pocket with a dastardly grin. No more fun and games.

In the midst of dodging, Xavier suffered a gunshot to the arm; the pain was tolerable for him. In a way the spy was desensitized to pain from the gangs of years he's been through of being horrifically tortured to near death. This man he was facing couldn't possibly inflict the kind of injuries he's suffered through. His left arm, along with his strange machinery became useless for the time being. He sighed, noting the faint beeping that rang within his ears. Time was up. Such a limited battery life...

"I suppose our match has to be cut short Mr. Bourdeau..." Xavier stripped himself of his cloak, and tossed it to the ground. His body was armored with some strange frame which explained the bizarre characteristics of his body. The device was fixed to his upper torso by mechanical locks. Reaching up, the spy pressed a single button near his shoulder which activated the locks to release him of his contraption. With a loud clang, the frame fell to the ground beside his feet harmlessly, leaving Jon a much more 'human' opponent to face against. "Don't think I'm any weaker just because I've exposed myself to you, Jon..." He tilted his head to the side, cracking it loudly, "In fact, I've actually got better control without that thing. It's only suitable for multiple opponents, you know." Glancing behind him, he noticed Malik was having a bit of difficulty closing the distance between himself, and the gunslinging teacher. Sighing, Xavier reached down the pack that was strapped along his back, and grabbed for a roll of razor sharp wire. The man reached for his knife connected to his waist, and cut the wire, and tangled his covered fingers with long strands. "Sorry, but this has got to end..." His wounded arm screamed at him for straining it so much, but oh well. Within a blink of an eye, Xavier had lashed two of the thin strands of wire around Stephane's left ankle, and right wrist, slicing the flesh cleanly from the man as blood splattered across the ground. He had easily sliced off a foot, and a hand. Not too shabby considering that he was barely even trying. His eyes remained fixed solely on Jonathan as he did the deed, bored nearly half to death. "Here goes..."
