    Huge sigs and the rule of thumb.

    I've been seeing a lot of gigantic signatures lately. I've even sifted through a thread about having a giant sig and being all proud of it (or something along those lines). Mahz, when he enabled sigs a looong time ago (they were not originally enabled), announced an actual size limit, but didn't hard-code it so people could have a little bit of leeway.

    I don't know the official length limit offhand, so I've got an easier one for you. Stick your thumb on your monitor (unless it's greasy/covered in Cheeto dust). If your sig is longer than your thumb, it's too fat. Either slap some spoiler tags on it, or put it on a diet.
    Die for your set, bang for Muhammad and Jesus;
    a shitty public school system, and a car that’s decent.
    I’m an American; I need a blowjob and a pizza,
    so I’ll overthrow you for oil, Mastercards, and Visas.

    I'm rolling out new rules because I released the recent ones in a way that guarantees I can't update them easily ever again. I'd obviously like to be able to edit one thread and have the update cascade down the rest of the rules.

    Please either slim down your signatures yourself or put them in Spoiler tags. Large pictures are annoying, but so are essays of text. The complete signature area should be no larger than 650 x 450 pixels.

    You can help keep the Guild clean by using the Report Post feature to clue us in to those with unwieldy signatures. We will just send you a PM that your signature is too big. Blackfire and I will probably put it in Spoiler tags for you.

    Fair?

    Cheers.

    So there's no confusion:
