    Bring Me To Life

    Bring me to life.

    I Thought I could play around with the whole end of world thing, it’s what I thought would happen if we don’t push to nuclear war. Overtime the land would reclaim its self just like it did with Egypt, the ice age due to climate issues slowly developed subzero temperatures and the Human world slowed to a halt.

    This is just the first draft, the second draft in Adv OOC will be more clear on rules, gudlines and CS’s. This is just to see if I will go on further =D

    The concept is a lot like Madmax if it was snowing, Vehicles are too frozen over to be used frequently and the snow would prevent any movement mad by normal wheels. As we all know Humanity is best at adapting so vehicles were cannibalised and equipped with new forms of heating and metal based components, tracks were also installed instead of wheels, and new forms of half tracks were pieced together from scrapped vehicles.

    We thought the world would end in nuclear war, or a natural phenomenon such as a meteor or a virus. But in human tradition we were mistaken. At one time we were close to nuclear war but that turned out to be a third cold war ‘The Euro War’ as we called it. No, human’s had not developed quick enough to destroy each other. It was only the slow cold that killed us off, vast empires crumbled under the sub zero temperatures, governments and public aid ceased and a lot of people died.

    The future of Tribal warfare is among us in the year 2100 as now the human race fights to survive nature and each other. The world is a vast wasteland of skeleton towns and cities, but many have been consumed by the mountains of snow. Wild life has all but vanished and the world is left to the survival of the fittest.

    Wild predators have many sizes and all are adapted to the white surroundings, large polar bears, small desert wolves and mountain lions litter certain areas of the world. They flourished during the fall of Humankind scavenging what they could and migrating to other regions, this developed new food chains within the animal kingdom.

    “The snow was thicker than usual it’s over 20ft now.” Brianne sniffed up as he pulled his fur hood tighter from two cords; he spat over the side of the four story building and watched it turn solid as the cold chilled it. The once red brick had turned a cold white from the weather. The white out has lasted longer than usual, hopefully it will soon pass as food and supplies are running low. He walked over the roof towards the entrance he opened it with great effort and bolted it from the inside;

    “Jane higher the heater this door is seizing up again!” Brianne shouted down the steel steps as he brushed the icicles off his beard.

    The four story building appeared to be a library; the banner above the second floor gave it away. In large black letters the words “Book Sale” echoed into the white nothingness. On the roof wall barbed wire and sandbags made a formal barrier, creating a fortified image to any outsider. But the best line of defence was the weather, the building was in a whiteout hot point and many Waste Landers struggled to find it during the cold season.

    Haha yea in a manner of speaking its about survival, people only ever travel in small groups with small firearms to defend them from either wild animals or enemy attack.

    There is rumour of greener parts to the earth, areas where the old life can still flourish, it may be the last remnants of society.
    So far that’s all I’ve got,

    Mkay. So then I guess the central characters would be one of these little holds of survivors, and the plotline would be finding...somewhere that's green?

    *ahem* Theater minor joke. *cough*

    Yep correctomundo, the weather is getting worse and surviving in the cold isn’t enough. (I'll add some more stuff on this bit.)

    So we would join up somewhere? Or travel seperately? Would we be able to 'lead' a tribe or group of people/help them to safety if such a thing exists? Would we be able to have larger weapons? I was thinking if I could lead a tribe some kind of travelling group that finds survivors and leads them to safety using some kind of converted train? Or just vehicles

    Yea you would be able to have a small group of people but I dont think a train would fit into this, snow would be too thick. I can see your thinking of 'Thunderdome', Im thinking more along the lines of Mad Max II.
