Plot: Legend tells of four jewels, each with two elements in it. One with Fire and Light, another with Water and Shadow. There was one that had Earth and Chi(Life), while the last was Air and Death. Each a powerful artifact, if a person got a hold of one, they could control that element. But only to an extent. Only person could use the jewels to their full potentials. But, an evil man found a way around this. He took all four jewels, after killing the one who could use them, and started creating chaos and destruction on his home planet, Salin. Eventually, a group of heroes stopped him, and were about to take the jewels back, when one of them decided to destroy them, in order to prevent them from being used for evil again.
Fast forward to present-day Montana. A group of four kids went to the same school in the small town of Jewel, Montana. Friends or not, that's for you to decide. Anyways, they all knew each other, and were pretty normal kids. Until one day. Unknown to them, it was the 1,000 year anniversary of the destruction of the four jewels. Each of them is destined to have one of these four jewels, but someone doesn't quite agree. This someone will stop at almost nothing to get the jewels, even if it kills the children. Because these jewels are kind of embedded in a part of their bodies. On the chest, forehead, somewhere. So they need to learn how to use these powers before the man kills them in order to get the jewels.

"Tell me why I'm doing this again?" Alex whispered, crouching in the bushes with one of his friends. "Because, we need a story," she said, watching the scene unfold in front of them. "Jake, I said no!" a girl was shouting. It were the two most popular kids in school, and it looked like they were having a fight. Alex sighed, taking a picture with the camera. "Why me?" he grumbled.

Kyo stood in the crowd around the popular kids throwing fists at each other, she rolled her eyes, another fight over some girl. Even though Kyo was popular nobody seemed to want to go out with he becuase of the viel, she walked around the fight about to leave for class when she spotted a glint in the bushes and heard a click as a camera lens shut. Raising a eyebrow she walked towards the bushes, appearing suddenly in the bushes speaking in a whisper "They will kill you.. you know.." she looked sideways her cloak resting on her knees.
Alex nearly screamed when a girl suddenly popped up behind him. "Ah, geez!" he whispered, a slight growl in his voice. "Did you have to do that?" He noticed that the couple were leaving, so he stood up, his camera hanging around his neck. "You nearly gave me a heart attack."
