"I'll purify you alright," Jason said. He was angry. Herald was dead, his friends were dying all around him, Syrah had been contaminated by hell, he didn't know where Maka and Flame were, and now he was staring dead on at a Mindfreak.

Tears began to form in Jason's eyes. His heart was full of content and sadness. He had no family (Delavega had made sure of that long ago), he had no home, he had few actual friends (Herald was one of them), and at the very moment he becomes a Sagen, he just about loses his gift. Jason could feel something boiling inside of him. An energy he had never felt before. This was more pure than holy water and spears; it was like a fire that could never be put out, a wind that could never be caught, a light that never faded, a river that was calm, a ghost that could not rest, tree that always swayed, a rock as hard diamond. This, Jason knew, was something totally new; it was something he had never studied before. Whenever Jason used an element, he could feel its signature, but this energy (whatever it was) felt like all of the elements.

In a sheer cry of anger and hate towards everything that was evil, Jason threw up his arms, breaking the chains. A bright light exploded from inside his body, a shock wave erupted and sent Trigger slamming into one of the citadel outer stone walls. The soldiers stopped grasping their heads, with the evil mind-neussance gone. They all stared in awe at Jason, who was floating just inches above the ground. He had a aura that gave off a pulsing rainbow effect. Every color of every element. His eyes also glowed with the raindow, and his cloak was swaying in an invisible wind. Jason glared at Trigger. He spoke in a doubled voice saying, "Go back to hell, Satan. Relinguish your grip on this soul."

Jason cast out his right hand and every element combined seemed to jet out at incredible speed and push Trigger through multiple walls of the citadel, into the Infusion chamber. Jason glided past the debree and stood floating in front of Trigger who landed exactly where Jason wanted him to; on the stone tablet that stood in the cannon's path.

    --------

    Major update:
Undiscovered element unlocked: Aether [all twelve elements combined make up what is called Aether, or pure kenetic energy. Aether puts off a rainbow effect, whereas the other elements only have one color that symbolizes them.]

Flame followed Jason but headed to the door way. When Jason reappeared with the spear of destiny and killed Loki with it she was stunned, she thought it was impossible next thing she knew Jason was being attacked by Trigger her body became engulfed in flames and she flew over him "Now you shall be purrified in flame!" She called out as the flame in her spirit extended to him engulfing him whole. "FLAME OF PURIFICATION!!!!!!!!" She screamed the flames turned blue and began flickering at the dark fire eating it away.
"She descended with the mighty sword of fire. "We are the angel of fire, Chosen to do Gods Bidding." She swung the sword around attempting to cut him to stop him moving from the table.

"You bitch!" He cursed spitting in her face. It sizzling to smoke before touching her. His hands jutted out gripping the blade of fire. "You think you know fire?! Try HELL!" His body exploded into black flames. This was a different fire, it was not of the elemental fire that was on earth. It burned with hatred and sorrow, not heat. The flames shot up the sword knocking her back, the heat burning at her in a way normal flames couldnt. Trigger lifted up from the tablet the great hole in his chest slowly starting to heal and reform as the darkness in the room fed into him. Black blood dripped from his mouth, his eyes glowing purple and black. "Oh ho ho.. Aether boy to the rescue." His death gaze shot into Jason's eyes. "Your as pure as a baby..." His fist rose up slamming him in the jaw like a thousand horses pushing through. "Too bad you fight like one too!" Suddenly his hands were bound to the tablet. "What in.." His gaze shot over to an image of Herald. His soul was destroyed but his signature in time was pulled so abruptly that there was a rift, a hole, allowing him to move into for only a few minutes. "You old bastard..." Herald looked solemn and sad. His soul was banished and corrupted. In Satan's grasp but he did what he could. "Have fun in Hell geezer!" His eyes blasted a black and purple light that pierced the hallowed image making him disappate back to Hell. "What now? Purify me? Poor Trigger, captured by the blackness. Absorbed by Satan. A slave to the darkness. What are you planning to do?" His talk was starting to waver, his voice becoming clearer. The citadel was having a drastic effect on his hold of the darkness in this room only. Trigger slide back into his restraints and laughed a crazy laugh that made the skin crawl on even the most sane. "Do it. C'mon.. let's see if your plan will work.." His gaze staring into Jason. A deep voice making their ears hurt said "Or maybe its a part of mine.."
Light will not fall upon me... So I will fall upon it with all the darkness in my heart...

Flame felt herself get pushed back with black flames burning at her body. It was too late for her to turn back now she gave it all to her element her eyes closed and then her body was taken whole by the flame. She looked at Jason "Either you do it now or I." Her voice had become the voice of an angel. She raised the sword again and retracted the metal element from it making it pure fire. "You'll know no pain like the one I'll put you threw so says the spirit of fire." she said looking directly at trigger

Two Sagens appeared at either end of the chamber. They had been waiting for this perfect moment. Each drew their palms in the air and conjured together their elements. One of Light and one of Spirit. The energies were shot out in beams towards the sphere of energy above the cannon. The sphere, powered by the Holy Grail, shot forth more energy towards the disks on the ceiling which deflected the beams towards the center of cannon at the orb. When the orb caught both beams it diverted the energy into one beam and release it into the barrel of the cannon, which concentrated the energy one last time.

In a flash, the pure energy shot out of the end of the cannon and slammed into Trigger's chest. Trigger's body glowed and pulsated with bright energy of Spirit and Light, violet and white. A few seconds later, after the beam finally died down, Trigger's seemed to explode of bright power. A demon was seen being cast out of Trigger's body, erupting into black dust and fading away.

Jason watched as Trigger panted from the impact. He knew he had changed. The Sagens at either end of the chamber bowed their heads and phazed.

Suddenly, everything fell silent....too silent. Jason felt another presence in the room. He whirled around and found Delavega at hole in the stone wall where Trigger was blown into from. The knight was grinning a maniacle and smile and tapping the end of his sword on the stone floor. The number 23 was gone from his forehead as Trigger's spell had worn away. But he was still powerful in his prime ambition to kill. "Well, well, well," he chanted. "It seems the boy still hasn't fulfilled the prophecy. I'm still alive." He held out his arms as if for a welcoming. "Let's make this a dramatic end. After all, I am French."

Jason's Aether aura was still pulsating and strong. The rainbow color over his eyes seemed to give off a litter spark. He spoke again in his doubled voice, "Then I am sure that you will fight Chivalry and honour."

He spat on the ground in disgust. "Chivalry and honour," he mocked, "pathetic." He raised his sword and prepared to charge.

Flame intervened in his charge "This is the punishment of the desert sands. You will hear your sentence." She spoke with all the force of the arch angel, Her body was all but gone now she would die as soon as she dismissed the fire element. She raised her hand and the sword in his hand began to burn melting to a puddle on the ground. She walked up and placed a hand on his shoulder and it began to sear throgh his black armor. "I am the heart of the desert, and your punishment is thus, you will fight one on one, no tricks, no magic, but skills alone, Your opponent choose, Careful or your end will be swift." She spoke now the justice that the desert sands had served she removed her hand from his shoulder revealing a hand mark where the armour had been destroyed she then summoned the metal element and repaired his armor. "The fight will be even, Same rules apply your magic blocked the fire element will see to that, For i am the fire." Flame said her eyes flared and she moved to stand beside Delevega she really hoped he would choose someone who knew how to fight.

"Whore," he hissed under his breathe. Jason caught wind of it and glided towards him at amazing speed. He struck out his hand a blast Aether surged forward and struck him in the chest. "Aagh! I thought there was no magic!"

"Couldn't resist," Jason said. At the moment he couldn't lower his powr levels, so he just reliquished his anti-gravity hold and fell slowly to his feet on the stone floor. He raised his fists, being close enough to smite Delavega, he punched up and slammed his knuckles under his chin. Delavega fell a few steps backward, but quickly regained his footing.

"Impressive," he said, aware that he was straying to close to the fire-engulfed Flame. Her aura of fire and heat was too intense for Delavega's armor to get close to. He reached down towards his heel and protruded a dagger from his boot. Jason didn't realize what he was doing in time. Delavega coated the knife quickly in Dark matter to protect it from Flame's fire element. He straightened out and thrust the dagger forward at Flame, the blast looped around and stabbed her in the left side of the chest. The knight smiled at his markmanship.

Jason yelled and regained flight, soaring into the knight and knocking him into the wall. "You were to fight with honor! What kind of knight are you!" He slammed his fists in Delavega's armor repeatedly, each time Aether energy was released into his chest cavity, causing immense amounts of pain. "What ever possessed you to betray your country, your king, your nobles, your family?!"

Delavega twitched a smile, grunting at the pain, and muttered at the boy, "I possessed by what every man is possessed with....money, power, greed, lust, fame."

Jason's eyes were once agan full of tears. He whirled around at Flame, racing towards her he stretched his arms and caught her in a fall. The aura of Aether protected him from her still strong fire. "I'm sorry," he said. Delavega slowly krept up from behind, filling his palm with Dark matter once more and preparing to strike Jason in the back of the head. Jason sensed the man approaching and lowered Flame on her back to the ground, whirled around and stuck out his arm with his index finger pointed at Delavega's heart. A tiny ball of Aether flickered at the end of his finger, rays of light spat out in all degrees. Delavega's eyes grew wide with horror as the tiny ball of light became a piercing rod of fierce energy. The rod stabbed through Delavega's armor, through his heart, and out from behind all at the speed of light. The rod faded a few seconds later and the knight fell limp to the floor.

The counsel of twelve Sagens appeared, rushing through the door to the chamber and sprinted over to the fallen bodies. Most of them crowded around Flame. One of the Sagen's used Spirit to conjure up a healing charm and placed it over her wound. Another used Water to douse Flame's fire before it completely consumed her soul. Another used Light to extract the Dark from her wound. Jason sat on his knees in between Flame and Delavega's body. "The deed is done," he said solemnely.

A Sagen approached him, this one was one of the elders, a male. He gazed upon Jason with his distant, grey eyes and said, "Many misinterpurate the prophecy." Jason looked at him confused. "The prophecy states: A young boy will rid the kingdom of evil one day. But many think that means simply killing Delavega. Unfortunatly, the prophecy is both literal and metaphorical. Even we are not sure what evil the prophecy is talking about exactly."

Jason stared at the wise Sagen in utter confusion. "You mean the prophecy has yet to be fulfilled?"

The man looked from Jason to Delavega's dead body and replied quiety, "I'm afraid so. I believe that the prophecy will be finally be fulfilled in the far future." He crossed his arms in the folds of his sleeves like a monk and walked back out of the chamber. Jason pondered what he had said. If the prophecy has yet to be fulfilled, then maybe I'm not the one to do it.

Officially this roleplay has ended. BUT FEAR NOT MY FELLOW FANS! The story will continue in a roleplay that I finished putting together. It will be titled Tribulation. I'll will post the OOC first (when i can) and then post the actual rp thread. This might take some time, because the roleplay will become more complicated. I've compiled a composition book of ideas for the roleplay (i've even created a freakin glossary of terms). Bare with me. Continue to post either here or in the OOC thread for Delavega. I will allow your characters to finish up with any final posts [this is essential if you want to use the same character in Tribulation]. Remember, Tribulation will take place in a modern day setting whereas Delavega took place 1470. So obviously there is a very (scratch that and put EXTREMELY) large gap in the timeline here.

There was a loud thudding in Trigger's chest and he took a quick breath in. His eyes blasted open his mouth grabbing at air. His body recoiled against the bonds and he thrashed against the chains as he yelled in pain. His stare bore over to the Sagens his mouth and eyes blasting with light.

"You righteous fools! What have you done?! You cannot fully eliminate evil! You should have left me as a lost soul dammit! You upset the balance and only... brought... The End." His voice was cut off as the white light began to fade to grey. The voice had been Trigger's, unaltered, unposessed, and what he spoke was true..

Somwhere in between Trigger's soul, his essence was fully given over, totally transmuted. The plan was passive, the gathering of death and corruption, embodying a master of transmuting time and space, things easily gone under the radar of the Sagens while the whole Delevega ordeal was coming to a head. The key was in the attack on the Bishop, the detail they over looked...

Trigger's eyes faded to black and his look was truely a sad one.. His despair was not for his own sake but for the sake of what he knew was really coming. His back arched as he screamed in pain that rang in everyone's ears. The screaming grew hollow and turned to a raspy yell. His skin faded to grey with black veins stretching across the surface of his skin, his teeth sharpened with a black tongue lashing out as he howled, his ears spiked out and his hair stood up and out like black flames. His eyes slowly sank away and disappeared leaving empty sockets, his white trenchcoat turned black as if someone was pooring black tar on it. Now the restraints were nothing, the being stood up peeling the arm bands off like tape. The presence filled the room hitting everyone in the chest feeling heavy on their heart. It walked slow like working out the kinks in the body, waves of heat moved faintly in the air. The tone was silent but reached everyone's ears indefinately:

"You fullfilled the prophecy alright.. Maybe you should have done some more research in the Hell's books.. A boy will come free the Gaia blah blah blah.. But our book tells of the boy under watch of a man of both light and dark that will fall into the black. Guess who? And through the light be born darkness.. Having trouble? You missed what the Bishop was missing. Im surprised you didng notice the big hole in the rickety geezer's chest! With a branch of the spirit tree devoured it was infected. And in purification of the dark be born a new element only to be wielded by the wicked... Need help again kid? You and your holy army used the spirit element and fused it into the Black unknown that the Spirit element is no more..." It trailed off with a smile his hands opening wide as he stepped back.

"Death... The Death Element.. Something that the Sagens themself couldnt posses, something that only the wicked at heart could wield. Good job Jason, you've done your work well. Unbeheld by the holy the black sword will strike and strike again until the white shield is no more..." His open arms clasped together in a dark prayer.

"In this body.. Full death element embodied.. Transmuted into the rift.. Forever Gaia will be plagued by Black Rifts opening allowing the children of Hell to pull through. You will never know when.. Or how.. The War will go on for a long time for centuries.. Until the Lord of Lies finds another Whisper of Hate, one chained to darkness but clean and unaware. Live in fear Sagens! Live! IN! FEAR!"

With that black wings sprouted from his back and wind circled the room like a tornado. There was no stopping him, it was like a typhoon had enveloped the room. "Portal of the Dark!" It said taking its nails and slitting its wrists, black tar of blood pooling around him. In multiple blasts, black portals opened all around him. There was a loud humming noise like building energy. Its eyes locked onto Jason's and he could of sworn it was smiling at him. Suddenly it exploded, its black energy shooting into each timeless portal. In a loud sonic boom the portals shut and there was nothing. Not even a word...

    --------------

In excepting the events the element Death would be available to demon kin, wicked at heart people.

Time rifts, dark portals would sometimes open in the world where demons would come through, Sagen's battling them when they came through. A neutral evil not taking sides, just a presence.

Prophecy was lining up my second character.

Light will not fall upon me... So I will fall upon it with all the darkness in my heart...

Flame felt the dagger biting deep into her chest it mattered not if her body died she would live on in the fire but she didn't count on her body collapsing bringing down her spirit form. She lost conciousness and awoke several days later feeling extremely cold, saw, and afraid. "Where am I" She whispered like a child, Her eyes were pure again and she was scared. Some reason she didn't recall the battle the other night and she didn't recall a lot of things.
"Relax child." The Nature Sagen said to her soothing her. "You've been through a lot, We almost lost you in that battle." She added as she moved to touch her hand but stopped for fear of hurting her badly burnt skin.
"Can I ask something of you please?" She asked with tears in her eyes as the memories flowed back into her head and she recalled what she had done.
"Anything my child." The Sagen said smiling softly.
"I wish to become a Sagen." She said with a bright smile at the Nature Sagen.
"Your already on your way, and you contain a great fire element, stronger then most." She said and kissed her on the forhead. "I go to talk to the other Sagen's about your request." She turned and left the room.
Time went by and She was fully healed and she was granted her wish to become a sagen. She was to be sagen of fire as her powers were so strong with it.

If death is bright and day is night,
