(Please note: This has nothing to do with what happened with Winston, this is just what my character would say after being robbed of the chance to commit murder)

Deathdrinker slowed his walk to approach the captain. He had a burning question in his mind. "Right, now I've no qualms against your decision just there, but would it have been that difficult for you to just let me kill him? Honestly?"

Although he was glad that Captain Patriot, or perhaps Captain Martyr, was no longer around to bother anybody, he did feel somewhat robbed. Firstly, there was a fight going on back in the tavern that he wasn't involved in, and secondly, he didn't have time to go back for Richard's sword. And it looked so damn good...

Frozen in a stare, John turned around the corner of the door to see that once again, his luck had proven uncannily strong.

The instant he came through the door grown men were rushing by him to escape the chaos that had entered with him.
Bottles and all forms of furniture were being tossed around. Stumbling by, and in-between the sloppy-Joes John made his way to the bar. A bottle smashed on the wall above him as he sat in a sticky bar-stool. Taking a bag that had fallen from a man's belt, he tossed two gold coins on the counter and caught a bottle that whirled by him.

'Might' fine service 'round 'ere. I'll be returning. Any Sail's ye know of to Singapore?'

His words were ignored by the cowering barkeep who found himself showered in blood a moment later.
John turned himself to see the origin of the shot and saw none other than Cap. Crawnor.

A man to be feared. His pillages throughout the world are well known to any who sail the seas. Blood-thirsty as any pirate worth mentioning and as cunning as ever was a man allowed. Even Jack Sparrow was wise not to play games with this man -All the more reason for John to exceed his father's legend.

John took a brisk step away from the bar, abandoning his rum? No, he was sure to grab that. Even snatching a nice looking hat before exiting the bar. The ever-merciless clop of his heels would betray him if he got too close to the group, so he made sure to keep a good distance. The only sound in the air of the night was that of the waves crashing against the shore.

Ducking behind some barrels and awaiting the crew to step aboard the ship would last just a moment -with the help of his new rum, that is.

Pop! went the cork, and the rum filled his mouth. The stinging flavor, oh-so familiar, would not distract him from the clops of the boots of his new traveling companions. After all, the captain himself was heard shouting 'To Singapore!'

Though taking a chance of being caught was an ill thought in his mind, getting to Singapore was his goal. One that would not escape his greedy fingers.

‘Mine’s Lucas,’ he replied to Sam’s introduction as she swept past. He cocked his head to the side and watched her for a few moments as she hastened toward the ship, making no effort to hide the fact that he was checking her out from behind. He’d never been to sea with a woman aboard before, having, more often than not, sailed with overly superstitious men who believed women to be bad luck. This could be a very interesting voyage.

Taking one last glance of the absolute chaos he’d instigated inside the bar, Lucas grinned and headed for the docks after Sam. He looked around when the Captain’s roar filled the night and, throwing his arms in the air, joined his shout of ‘ALL ABOARD’, the mix of alcohol and adrenalin in his blood giving him the want to be loud.

As he neared the docks and the Prometheus came into view, Vane’s grin widened. It truly was a magnificent ship.
Logic merely enables one to be wrong with authority.

"Nice t' meet you," Sam called back as she continued forward. As she arrived at the ship on the docks, she stopped to stare before boarding. Her eyes traced the hull, scanning over the bold lettering of the ship's name, and she smiled slightly. Then, going aboard, she made her way to the far side of the enormous vessel, starring out at the open sea with a contented sigh. Getting away from this place, at last... she thought, then moved back onto the main deck.

Astrolanoid laughed aloud as he took in the sheer size of the ship. "Gee. That thing's almost as dangerous as I am," he joked. Being met with not a single hint of laughter, he sighed and continued onto the ship. Some people just do not appreciate good comedy...

"So," he began, "Singapore awaits! Better bring some earplugs though, I've 'eard that the singers there are horrible!" If that one didn't score some smiles; he was on the wrong ship.
