You could say that. I think of it more as his automatic(reptilian) brain and his mammalian brain. Most of the time the mammalian brain is in charge, but its hold can be loosened, and when it is the reptillian brain takes over.

And somewhere Filt is thinking how much fun he could have had with Zacky, getting that reptilian brain to take over. Sadly then it would have meant a fight between them, lol.

Eh, Filt might get a kick out of besting his opponent, the the triek would be fighting to kill. He'd have to kill Zacky to stop him.

@Shin: He's probably referring to how reptilians think vs humans, the mindset.

It's something in psychology...though it's just a theory I think. Every human has a reptilian brain that's only concerned with eating, surviving, sleeping and fucking. This has to do with why people get addictions. Then they have higher brain power on top of that that tries makes decisions despite the basic needs.

Goes into it here I think...anyway, his triek behaviors represent the instincts of his body, and his human behaviors are his higher brain trying to overcome that. For Zacky, usually it succeeds. If one his basic needs is great enough, like he gets super hungry, the triek brain can take over to help itself survive.

So then Filtiarn would be considered just insane because he's highly intelligent and made conscious decisions to manipulate and kill people, right? lol.
