Born on May 23, 2023. She was born into a middle class family and lived a typical person's life. She wasn't bullied in school, but she was by no means popular. She was a pretty girl who was nice to everyone, but could never seem to bond with anyone. She didn't mind; a bond meant one more person who could hurt you or be used to hurt you. She tried her best not to make enemies, but that's impossible treating everyone with respect.
Recently, she was out walking alone in the woods near an abandoned warehouse. She heard a rustling sound as she walked and when she turned to look, she was tackled by a dog. A very big
dog. It bit her shoulder, drawing a lot of blood. It prepared for another bite, but she was prepared this time with a thick branch that was nearby. She jammed it into the dog's mouth and eventually got the dog off of her after a long struggle. She swung the branch at the dog, this time watching the dog break it with its teeth. She swung what was left and the dog stumbled a bit. It charged and she shoved the branch down its throat. The branch broke through its neck. In desperation, the dog jumped on her, pinning her to tthe ground. It's throat bled into her mouth. She tried to spit it out, but swallowed some.
The dog collapsed on her. It took a great deal of strength to push it off, strength and energy. She had little of either left. She saw what she had done and called her friend to come pick her up to take her to the hospital.
A week later, when they got her blood tests back, they informed her that her blood had been contaminated with an experimental blood-borne virus created by the government to combat overseas bioterrorists and with potential uses in wars. They weren't sure exactly if it was a good thing or a bad thing yet. It infected like a virus, but powered up the mind, allowing for psychokinesis.
This was incredibly good news to her...at first. Then, after a few weeks, they called again, saying she had only a few days left. They told her she'd suffer from what they called a "brain overload", essentially short-circuiting her brain and causing braindeath.
The virus has given her psychokinesis, allowing her to move up to 100 pounds and apply as much as 200 newtons of force.
Corinne wears primarily t-shirts and jeans, but on the day this RP starts, she'll be wearing a brown skirt with a black t-shirt with her favorite band's logo on it. Her hair is softer than most people's and smells like coconuts. Her finger- and toenails have clear polish on them. Her toes show clearly in the pumps she wears. She has a "designer" purse (the designer being her friend, a completely unknown designer) with almost everything she thinks is important inside it. She doesn't worry about losing it because of its triple-reinforced strap...and because it's chainmail over leather, connected by chains to a chain strap. She has clear lip gloss that tastes like strawberries (though she's the only one that knows the flavor) on and wears red sunglasses that curve around partway to her ears to protect her eyes better.
