So it would appear that there is such a thing as a hollow with restraint. Tristan finished up his meal leaving all the left over wrappings on the counter. Knowing he wouldn’t have much room for the next couple days/minuets stretched out his arms towards the sky trying to extension as possible before bringing them down.
“Whatever you guys do just remember not to push yourselves too hard or else this place could drain you dry.” Tristan walked over to the wall that seemed to have the most empty space and pulled out his blade. A smile overtook his face as he gathered the loose reishi from the surrounding area to summon forth the edge. He was excited at the chance to improve his combat and learn the abilities of his newly found comrades. Doing so would make him a part of something was more important than himself but instead aid the greater cause in life. The blade now glowing with energy was directed to the edge off the wall until it pieced it. Tristan then focused on a prolonged pathway that could provide the group with the most time in the void as possible. He remained still for nearly a minuete as the course passed through and then finally sliced the wall horizontally causing what appeared to be a fissure in Sato’s wall. The fissure began to open but did not show an image at the end of the tunnel like Tristan had been accustomed to in the past. Instead all that could be seen was empty space lined by violent swirling storms of discolored reishi lining the seemingly infinite tunnel.
“There.. Now in theory if you could manipulate the time at the end of this portal it should carry through all the way to the other side since in this reality the total distance traveled would be nearly zero. I can’t be one hundred percent certain on that but I guess we won’t know until we try it.”
I can’t quite seem to figure out that one. I guess it’s not needed for this mission so its not worth thinking about. She was determined to do a good job so Tessa put her game face on as she stepped through the portal. The journey didn’t take long and she had exited into the Northern Kingdom’s courtyard as the man promised. As soon as she arrived she had remembered one thing that Ukita had not told her, what do on first contact. Unsure how she would be greeted or by who she still remained where she was standing with her hands at her side and visible to all that would approach. Address people by their titles.. Don’t speak directly to the emperor.. Show respect not hostility.. This is their house.. She went over her rules as she waited for some kind of encounter that would influence what she would do next.
