Right just to start, this sounded like a pretty epic idea in my head, so if it comes across as crap, please let me know. 
Fates' Calling
What would you do if you woke up one morning to find a few new additions to your drawers in your bedroom. Four items, a photograph of you and four other people you have never met before or do not recognise, in which you look the same age as you do now but yet you have no recollection of the photo being taken. And finally a piece of a picture which seems to have been ripped up.
I am looking for three other very confident, experienced and active members to join this. This is the basic outline of what i would like everyones first post to be like, but there are some obvious things to explain first.
The object(s);
The four Items/Objects that you find in the drawer are significant. Everyone in their CS will pick a small item or object. It could be anything. For example, in my CS i know i will chose the Ace of Spades card. This object has to be significant for the character somehow. My basic story will be about his dad a casino owner, therefore the card fits in. This could be anything from a personal possession to an everyday object, as long as it has some significance to your character. Now every character will find the same four items, one of which will be there's, the other three will be the other three characters objects.
The photo;
The photo as i imagined would be set in a sunny yet sundown/dusky sort of light. It would be sort of silhouetted yet still light enough to make out some faces. They are in a meadow and seem to be all standing up in a line with their arms around each other all with big smiling faces, obviously having a good time. I want no character to know who any of the other characters are. I want them to be oblivious to who that person may be, until they meet up after finding the photo in various ways. Also the actual outcome of the photo would be that it was taken in the future, after whatever has happened happens and it would be one of the final posts in the threads to close off the RP. Dont ask how its from the future. Just accept it (:
The piece of paper;
The piece of paper/ Photograph could in fact be one of the most important parts of the things you find. I want it so that all pieces form together to form something. This i am open minded as to what it could be. Something interesting that gives the RP a twist to after they have met. Something for them to do.
So obviously after finding these things you would feel the urge to find and communicate with these people, to find out what happened. Was it a drunk night? Are you losing your memory? Or are you just plain delirious?
You attempt to find these people and along the way maybe find them by seeing some of same items along the way.
I know i gave alot away about the things you find but it was hard to understand without the info.
