Nathan chuckled. "You should be proud of that," He said. "It means you're tuff." Zeke pulled out a pair of cleaned tweezers and began to gently pry the bullets from her wrists. "Sorry, this might hurt," He told her. Within five minutes, though, he had removed them both from her wrists and was working on her leg. When he noticed her voice growing weak, though, he sat up, just in time to catch her from falling over. "Is she okay?" Nathan asked, surprised. The doctor nodded and laid her down straight on the bed, continuing to work on her leg. "She's fine. Just too much blood loss. I'll need to hook her up to an IV to get some of it back in her. Any idea what blood type she is?" Nathan shook is head and sighed as he removed the last bullet. "Alright... Well she should wake up if I stop the bleeding, so we'll ask her then. For now, all I can do is clean out the wounds and tape them up." It took about an hour for him to get her all fixed up, but once he had, Nathan carried her up to his room, deciding that a warm, soft bed would be better than a hard, flat cot if she needed her rest. Once he had laid her on the bed and pulled the quilt over her, Brandon walked in carrying a small cat. Was it Serenity's? Brandon handed it to him and told him to take care of it before walking out, so he guessed so. Gently, he placed the kitten on the bed next to Serenity where it curled up and began to pur, nuzzling against his hand. Even he couldn't help but to smile at it. I can see why she likes this thing... It's kinda cute, I guess...

About half an hour to an hour later, Serenity felt something under and over her. It was a bed, but how did she get here..? 'Oh yeah, I passed out...' She remembered and groaned softly, slowly sitting up, holding her side. It wasn't bleeding anymore, it just stung alittle when she moved. Hearing a soft faint, meow, she looked down, seeing Mittens, unharmed. "Oh, sweetie, I'm so glad you're alright!" She scooped the kitten up and kissed his nose affectionately and just realized that Nathan was sitting right there and had seen that little break in her tough shell.

She cleared her throat and glared at him. "You tell nobody about that. You do I'll break your other wrist." She said seriously, until Mittens licked her face and she giggled. "Mittens...Silly kitty. He's hungry..." She glanced towards Nathan. "Did Brandon ever pick up the food from my house too?" She asked, alittle softer-voiced around Mittens, glad to have him back with her.

Nathan was surprised as she suddenly scooped up the kitten, having not noticed that she was awake. When she threatened him, though, he simply shrugged. "There's a bullet in that hand, remember?" He said. Not only that, but he still hadn't gotten himself fixed up... It wasn't until now that he remembered. When she mentioned that the kitten needed to be fed, though, he shook his head. "Brandon's not really that attentive to things like that," He said. "Most of us barely take care of ourselves. That's why you don't see us keeping any pets here." She seemed to be a lot more at ease around her kitten, and he figured that she wouldn't mind staying here as much if the kitten could stay with her... "Zeke needs to know your blood type," He told her. "You lost a lot of blood, so he wants to hook you up to an IV for a little while, until you've gained most of it back. He also said to have you drink lots of water, so he'll be bringing up a couple jugs of that, along with the IV." He rubbed the back of his head, not sure exactly what to do. Her injuries were pretty much entirely his fault, and although they weren't on the best of terms, he felt responsible to take care of her. However, he didn't have the slightest idea how to do that. "I guess... just let me know if you need anything..." He said, awkwardly. "I mean... I know that you don't have the best impression of us, but around here, we think of each other as a family... because family sticks together, y'know? So, I guess... yeah..." He just stared out the window, not sure what else to say.

Serenity decided to cut Nathan a bit of slack, since he was making sure she was alright. "Yeah, I'd like that." She smiled and hearing that they didn't really take care of themselves, she looked surprised. "Really..? Well..." She placed her finger on her chin. "I'd help on that end. Not trying to get you guys warmed up to me or anything, and that doesn't mean I'm going soft by no means." She bit her lip. "I suppose I can cook around here when I got time..." She smirked. "As for Mittens, I need to go get his food so he wont starve." She took a deep breath before hopping out of the bed, standing, almost like she didnt' take the amount of injuries she had, though they stung only slightly. "Speaking of me, you need to get yourself checked out too Nathan." She said grinning. "Thanks for caring though, It means alot."

She turned her attention to Mittens, who was sitting on the quilts, looking up at her. "You stay right here. I'll be back for you, so no funny business, okay mister?" She shook her finger at him and the kitten pawed at it, mewing softly. "Good." She smiled. "I'm off to go tell Brandon that I'm going to get some food for Mittens." She waved, going out and going straight to his office, and knocked. "Hey Brandon, I got to go out."

Nathan relaxed when she responded, glad that she didn't seem to really hate him, anymore. Of course, she wasn't going to LIKE anybody here, but maybe she'd be able to fit in alright. After all, she was already finding a place for herself. Cooking... He tried to think back to the last time he had a decent meal. Most of the time it was pizza, cereal, or some other kind of fast-food. Either that or they would skip eating, just too busy or too lazy to make anything. "That... would be nice," He admitted. "It would probably do some of us some good to stop eating junk all of the time..." When she said that she wasn't gonna go easy on them, he shrugged. "We're a mafia, Serenity. One of my best friends, someone who's almost like a brother to me, shot me in the foot. Who has ever been 'soft' on us?" He was about to panic when she stood up, but her comments caught him off-guard. "I... guess I do..." He said, surprised. When she thanked him, though, he hadn't been expecting that and stood up, putting all of his weight onto his non-injured foot. He said nothing to her thanks, but simply followed her to Brandon's office, not wanting her to get hurt by him.

Brandon came out when he heard her, crossing his arms. "Out?" He asked. "Out where?" There was a frown on his face so, as Nathan had suspected, he must have been dealing with something important... Probably another fight with his stupid girlfriend. "Don't worry, she's just going to her house and she's leaving the cat here, so she'll come back just fine." Brandon just looked at the both for a moment and sighed. "Fine," He replied. "But don't you give that girl a gun," He told Nathan before closing his door. Nathan turned to her. "It takes a while for him to warm up to people," He said. "Just give it time. And please... don't try anything stupid while you're out, okay? It's taking a lot of trust for us to let you go out on your own... and we probably should send someone with you, but... Please come back..." And with those last words, he turned and headed to Zeke's office, where he got the bullets taken out of his hand and foot, his wounds cleaned up, and bandages put on them. Unfortunately, he had also lost quite a deal of blood, so Zeke got his blood type and hooked him up to an IV while he rested, exhausted after a long night. By now, it was nearly morning, again.

Hearing the coment about being shot in the foot, Serenity stifled a laugh. "Sorry." She smiled an nodded. "I'll be back. Don't worry. Just go get yourself patched up." She eased him forward and walked outside, going towards the police station, seeing nobody there and sped off on her motorcycle to her house, and picked up a bag of dry cat food and two boxes of kitty treats, along with a new litter pan, and litter, placing it on teh front of her bike, before opening the side compartments and going back inside, grabbing food items that she coudl cook with. She locked back up and sped back to the hideout, taking a weird, long way around, back in about ten to fifteen minutes, but nobody saw her and she grabbed all the cat things in one hand and the food in the other. "Back!" She called, walking in and placing the food in the fridge, and it quickly loaded it up. "Wow..." You could tell mostly guys lived here, by the look of things in it.

Serenity laughed, throwing a few things out that were over-expired or looked weird and went back upstairs, settin gup Mittens area, and fixed him something to eat, and poured him some milk she had, and returned it to the fridge before feeling dizzy again. It hit her - she still had to give Zeke her blood-type. In a minute..

She grabbed a big skillet she had, putting fillets of salmon on it, searing them and frying some noodles with tabasco and soy sauce. She smiled as she cooked, the smell apparently leaked out of the kitchen. She finished fifteen minutes later, having it finished and made enough for about 15-20 people, not knowing how many members there was. She kept the pasta on low heat, so it'd stay warm and the lid on the fish so it'd stay moist.

After finishing she reeeally needed to go see Zeke, and went back upstairs, seeing him. "Hey Zeke. Ah...My bloodtype is B-.." She said laughing. "I made you guys something downstairs. I just finished." She smiled, sitting down in a chair, not too far from where Nathan was resting. "He's all fixed now?" She asked, rubbing the back of her neck.

Nathan found hope in her promise as he let himself rest, now, not even bothering to go up to his room, since the cot was just fine for him, right now. When Serenity came back, Zeke looked up at her and smiled. "Ah, yes. I was hoping that you would come by. Please, have a seat." When she told him her blood type, he nodded and grabbed the appropriate bag, setting it up on an IV stand. "You won't need to rest, since you've already been up and about just fine, but I want to keep you on this for at least fifteen to twenty minutes, alright? Just to get your blood flowing strong, again." As she mentioned having made something for them downstairs, he grinned. "Ah, so that's what that smell was?" He asked, raising his eyebrows. "It smells good. Glad to finally have a decent cook around here... Or a cook at all, I should say. After all, these boys are practically incapable of taking care of themselves." Chuckling, he slapped her arm to numb the area where he would put the needle, and then inserted it, letting the blood flow into her arm. When she asked about Nathan, he nodded and reached over, putting a hand on the white-haired man's forehead. "Yup. He's all taped up and ready to go... sort of. I guess he needed to rest... He's been out like a light for almost an hour, now."

She smiled and let him put the needle in her arm. "You should go get you a plate soon. There's plenty down there. She soon laughed softly as she heard footsteps heading to the kitchen. She glanced back over at Nathan and nodded. "Alright, good to know. I'll watch him. Go get you something. She reassure him and moved over beside him, taking the IV with her and sat in the chair beside him and watched him. He actually looked good when he wasn't runnin his mouth. She laughed lightly at the thought.

Zeke nodded at her words and stood. "Alright... I think I will," He said. "Just don't unplug either of your IVs, okay? I'll be back up in a little while... Just come find me downstairs if you need me." He left, then, which left Nathan and Serenity alone, now, while he slept. Once the boys had, for the most part, eaten, Zeke took the liberty of wrapping up the extras and putting away for later, since a few members, like Nathan, hadn't gotten to eat, yet. After several more hours, Nathan woke up from his slumber, rubbing his eyes, sleepily. When he saw Serenity, he just gazed at her tiredly, for a moment, before realizing just who she was. "Hey... You came back..." He murmured, quietly, before yawning and sitting up. That sent a shock of pain through his body and he winced, only to remember that he was injured. "What time is it...?" He murmured, sleepily looking around for a clock. It took him a few minutes to realize that there wasn't one in this room.

Serenity nodded. "You got it." Seeing Nathan stir, she smiled. "Of course I came back..." Seeing him sit up she opened her mouth. "Ah, wait don't --" Too late. He'd already done it and she sighed. "Um, time...?" She looked at her watch. "Um...Maybe...2 AM?" She looked back at him. "You look like you were having a pretty good rest over there." She laughed lightly. "How are ya feeling?"

She remembered that she made something. "Oh, I made some dinner late last night after I got back. I told Zeke to go get some so he probrably saved you some, though I don't know how much is left. If there's not much, I"ll just make some more." She smiled.

Mittens found his way into the room and jumped onto the bed where Nathan was laying and sat on his lap, looking up at him with his blue eyes and meowed at him.
