Anyways, the final plot character I must introduce.

Name: Kazuma Harukotsu
Age: 4836; Appears 43; Died at 37
Gender: Male
Personality: Kazuma is a very odd fellow. He has many personas, but only one describes the true Kazuma. He will act very happy, energetic, and joyous, yet at the same time his true motifs and objectives are shrouded by a veil of secrecy. His chosen alignment is completely undefined and it is unclear whose side he would take in a clash. These motifs are never truly expressed, and his exterior is usually false, but this does not mean that he is completely untrustworthy. His eyes are usually bright and elegant, and express the essence of happiness. His laughing and joking manner is usually true in most cases, but on the inside, he doesn’t always seem very happy.

His true persona is that of seriousness, and silence. This usually occurs when he removes his hat and releases his blade. Through the years, he has a very hardened nature and will usually keep his speaking short, sweet, and to the point. His eyes no longer have the happiness they usually portray, but instead they reveal a completely different Kazuma, one that doesn’t joke around.
Items:
Reiatsu Concealment Cloak - A dark gray cloak that covers his entire body, aside from his hat, making it look like a trench coat. The coat was invented by Kazuma, which masks the pressure of the wearer, making it so they cannot be sensed, only seen. He rarely ever wears it.
Suppression Hat - He constantly wears a hat that hides his true power. When he wears the hat, one would think he has the power of a seated officer or even lower. When he takes the hat off or it is knocked off, his true Spiritual Pressure is unleashed. The hat was designed to stick to his head, so the odd tricks he does in fights do not cause the hat to fall off, however if the opponent were to knock it off with a Zanpaktou, or he removed it by hand, it would simply fall off like any other hat. The hat usually hides his eyes from view. He does not wear a limiter, as this is a substitution for it.

Kazuma is about 6’6, which is usually considered extremely tall. He weighs about 165lbs, mostly muscle mass. His hair is a silvery white, about shoulder length, and is straight. He rarely is seen with a shirt on.

History: Most of it is unknown. However he has ties with Captain Commander Sano, Vizard Leader Takeda, and Jin Shoukyaku. He is also the much older brother of Rakensen Harukotsu.

For crimes against Soul Society, he was placed inside the Onmitsukido’s detention cell with walls that subdued his spiritual pressure. However, once the previous Captain Commander died and Sano took over, he was released and reinstated into the Gotei 13 as a Captain of the Seventh Division.

Shikai Abilities:
Kageseishi - A passive ability that allows him to use his Reiatsu to form spiritual shadows, that can physically manifest and form shield or attacks. He is able to use less Reiatsu and create more quantities of the shadow in darker areas, especially at night. He can manipulate the shadows in any way he wants, and can even use them as bullets or blades. He can focus the shadows through any part of his body or weapon.

Kageshintai - An ability that lets Kazuma or his weapons move through the shadows. Kazuma can enter one shadow and appear out of another.

Kumoritouketsu - This is Kazuma’s “Frozen shadow” technique. Whenever his scythe or a part of his body is touching a shadow, that part of the body is incapable of moving.

Yakou - The passive ability that allows Kazuma to adjust his eyes to see even while in absolute darkness. The less light there is, the more his eye color changes to a silver color from their natural blue.

Shokushu - Holes of shadow can form anywhere that there is light. The holes cause a tendril or tentacle-like mass of shadow to come out. These tendrils are manipulated by Kazuma. If a tendril is cut or destroyed, it explodes into a mass of shadow that is manipulated by Kazuma.

Kagemusha - Kazuma absorbs his own shadow, and allows himself to temporarily become shadows himself. This ability is limited to limbs, however with mroe Reiatsu used, he can turn his entire body into shadows for short periods of time.

Bankai Abilities: In addition to the abilities he has in his shikai, these are his five other abilities.

Hatsugai - In his initial bankai form, eight five-foot, extremely thick and sharp black glaives hover around him. Each glaive is curved and double-edged. This ability allows Kazuma to mentally control the movements and actions of the blades. Usually, two glaives are held and six hover in the air and are mentally controlled by Kazuma. In this state, he cannot move to much while manipulating the glaives mentally, as it takes a lot of concentration to manipulate all of the glaives.

Shinkuroissei - An ability that allows him to combine all of his eight glaives to form a double-sided scythe with spiked chains on either end, as shown in the second picture for his bankai. This is also reversible, as he can split the scythe back into the six blades at will. Using this ability, he is faster and moves around much more, unlike when he’s using his Hatsugai.

Makurayami - This ability causes his shadow to become pitch black, and form a giant dome around him and his opponent, completely blocking off all light from entering. Inside, as there is no light, opponents cannot see and his power is dramatically increased.

Zenkaijin - Six of his eight glaives fuse with his body to form a black armor that covers most of his body. This hinders his speed, but increases his defense greatly. The other two glaives’ blades grow longer and larger. When using this ability, he loses the ability to manipulate the final two glaives with his mind, however this is a reversible technique like his Shinkuroissei.

Gatsuga Kagirinai - This ability is most powerful at night, when the moon is visible. On New Moons and Full Moons, the attack’s power is increased tenfold. During the day, the attack creates a ball of light above Kazuma’s head, symbolizing the moon. When the moon is visible at night, a massive beam of white Reiatsu is fired down from the sky. The beam is about twenty five feet in diameter, however it can be split up into segments and controlled by Kazuma. When the artificial ball of light is being used, the beam is only fifteen feet in diameter, and is less powerful, however it is much faster.

Name: Gyoza Kiryoku

Rank: Former Lieutenant
Personality: Gyoza is pretty laid-back and joker-esque. He appears to take nothing seriously, and often mocks his opponents in battle just to see them get angry. He is not easily angered, nor does he get sad easily. Gyoza does have feelings, he just chooses not to show them. He only expresses himself through joking and teasing, even though he may feel more than that. And although he is a joker, he does have respect for some people, but only shows it in his rare serious moments. Gyoza enjoys fighting, but does not want to kill. Not to say he won't kill, he just dislikes it.
Appearance:
History: Gyoza was a mere farm-boy in life, and died young. He lived his life before becoming a Shinigami in the 79th District of the Rukongai. He doesn't have much to talk about from those days, as he was a loner because nobody liked the obnoxious boy. As a Shinigami he was originally placed in the Eleventh Squad and moved up to sixth seat there. He was later moved to the Fifth, where he ranked up to Lieutenant. Almost a year afterwards he started to hear his Inner Hollow, and realized what he was becoming. Gyoza had no clue how this came to happen, and was too scared of judgement to ask someone for help. He left the Gotei 13 and fled to the world of the living, to find someway to control his Inner Hollow.

Before leaving, he managed to get a gigai from the Department of Research and Development, saying it was for an emergency. In the world of the living he was first a little nervous. Afraid that he'd never find any help. After a while he found himself trying to live a normal life, he had gotten a job, a car and an apartment. But there was always that fear of his Inner Hollow in the back of his mind, it had been silent for so long, it was bound to awaken again. Within that year, the Hollow emerged again. It had been in his Zanpakuto's realm, now it was saying how it would take over, letting Gyoza reach his potential. Gyoza's Zanpakuto guided him, helping him to gain control over his Inner Hollow. It was at least a year before he had the ability to successfully wear the mask for even half a minute. But, within the most recent year of his life he managed to almost master the mask. It was his weapon now, and he would use it as he wanted to.
Strengths: Gyoza is extremely fast, with a decent amount of power to back him up.
Weaknesses: He is terrible at remembering incantations for kidou. In combat he is focused on his fight, and will lose any sense of his surroundings now and then. With his mask on, he becomes extremely arrogant, boastful and short-sighted.

Vizard
Sealed Zanpaktou: A chokuto-style sword with a black sheath and gold lining.
Shikai: Herald the end, Juujikei! In Shikai, the two small blades on either side of the main blade, acting as a guard can detach and be fired as projectiles. They can be guided with reiatsu, but doing so can leave the user open to attack.

*Skill Shift: While the mask is on Gyoza can shift all his speed into power, or all his power into speed. By sacrificing all of his speed, he can crush almost anything, but sacrificing all of his strength he can gain immense speed, faster than most can track. It takes him a few moments to switch abilities, so he can't just shift in between swings. He must back off momentarily to switch focuses.
