    Rei: Hmm, how ironic that you would ask. I was pondering the issue myself a few days ago and asked sir Ryoji to teach me more on the subject.

    Name: Aries

    Age: 60

    Class:Dark Tsviet

    Title: Aries the invincible

    Height: 6'2

    Clothes: A form fitting, armless black undershirt made of synthetic material covers his upper body while urban camouflage (different shades of gray and black mostly) cargo pants held up by a thick leather belt with a ram's head belt buckle cover his legs. He wears heavy combat boots but doesn't tuck his pants bottoms in them and he usually covers himself in a light, black trench coat with the astrological sign for Aries (♈) in red on the back. As per usual his clothes are lined with the same power lines found on any deep ground combat uniform, his glow black rather than blue however, due to his black mako.

    Hair: mid-length spiky red hair that goes just past his ears ad crops around each side of his face. He has a single long strand that descends diagonally over his left eye.

    Eyes: His left eye is a robotic visor eye with a red lens. The right one is usually a dark green but will glow black when Aries taps into the dark mako inside Impulse.

    Other: N/A

    Weapon(s):

    - Pain&Oblivion: Two deadly red and black revolvers powered by deadly dark mako cells. The bullets they shoot are filled to the brim with this mako and can easily pierce through any kind of armor or barrier regardless of whether it is magical or technological.

    - Impulse: His mechanical left arm, second of his three dark mako-powered weapons. The super-strong arm can lift up to 10 tons normally and has a grip capable of applying an equal amount of pressure on what-ever Aries takes hold of it can also temporarily remove it's power limiters and become overflown with dark mako, this tipples it's lifting and crushing capabilities and the excess mako flowing in Aries' body doubles his own speed, strength and endurance. However this ability is short lived and once it is over the arm ceases functioning completely for a short period of time, before re-starting at 75% capacity on a back-up cell for a period of 40 minutes. Aries must also contaminate any nearby mako well to re-charge his dark mako cells if he wishes to use the limit breaker again.

    On top of the great physical advantages the arm gives Aries it is also capable of shooting out black mako in the shape of black lightning bolts to attack enemies at range and it is capable of generating minor telekinetic fields, these abilities however deplete its mako reserves at a steady rate.

    Without using the Limit Breaker, Black Lightning or Telekinesis, Impulse can function for a maximum of 42 hours on one charge of mako.

    - Aerospark: Originally the weapon of a fallen comrade, Aerospark is a large cybernetic hover-board with the sign for Aquarius (♒) in white on the board's deck that Aries keep strapped to his back, wrapped up in a bunch of bandages.

    Though it's main purpose is to be used as modes for transportation it is also a highly effective shield weapon. By modifying it to be compatible with dark mako Aries can attach the board's deck to Impulse and use dark mako to increase the repulsion field it already generates to fly, turning it into a giant invisible barrier capable of stopping even sniper bullets dead in their tracks.

    The board is also incredibly durable and light making it perfect for charging and punching attacks as well as defense. A plasma sword can be expelled from the small hole at the board's tip to make a sword and shield combination or the sword can remaining inside the board and be activated from within, turning its blade into a deadly spike protruding from the board to impale enemies in it's way.

    when Impulse has had its limiters removed Aerospark can be charged up and fire a deadly laser beam from its tip provided that the blade is still inside the board.

    As a final feature, the hover-board also features four deployable booster engines from its sides to burst forward with incredible speed. While the board is being used as a shield these booster rockets can be used to greatly increase the strength of punches, deliver quick and powerful charging attacks, or be used to fire the board forward as a powerful impact missile. Naturally using the booster rockets while Impulse is overflowing with dark mako will also increase the power of the boosters.

    Though he knows how to ride the hover-board Aries much prefers using it as a shield, contrary to its original owner who was constantly riding around on it even during battle.

    Powers: Other than his impressive accuracy and the powers given to him by Impulse, along with his superior Tsviet body, Aries himself possesses no special abilities of his own.

    Personality: Arrogant, Loud and Impatient, Aries is a very goal-oriented person who demolishes any obstacle on his path without second thought. His only true loyalties are to himself and he makes no effort to hide it. He is independent and usually acts alone but is not an overly 'bad' person to his core. As an ex turk and military man before that he will quickly develop bonds with his brothers in arms though they are in no way easy to discern. Though he has no loyalty to anyone above him he does value his subordinates and those loyal to him highly and will often do whatever he can to ensure his safety. Were he not so obsessed with finding and destroying Vincent Valentine one might think he could make for a good friend and amiable fellow under the right circumstances.

    Bio: One of shinra's turks three decades before Meteorfall, Aries, know back then as Aelistar Sleight, not only served at the same time as Vincent he was also his direct superior during the younger gunman's initial years. Being a naturally loud and outgoing man, Aries was never too fond of the quiet, cold and reserved Vincent Valentine, as such the two often clashed and butted heads. Once Vincent's surprising marksman abilities began being noticed by shinra the two often competed for the unofficial title of 'best shot' during training, missions and any other event that could be completed, orthodoxly or otherwise, by gunfire. Of course many often called this a one sided rivalry as Aries was always the one to initiate these competitions and throw the challenge at Vincent to do better, challenges Vincent seemed to only take up by whim, of course it was also rumored that Vincent was only putting on an air of aloofness for looks considering he rarely ever declined the challenges.

    The rivalry would quickly end a few years later however as, during a training accident Vincent shot a training bot that had gotten too close to Aries and much of the resulting shrapnel embedded itself deep into Aries' left side. Though the wounds themselves were in no way serious, a particular piece of metal that had stuck itself inside his hand severed important tendons, resulting in hampered movement and dexterity and another caught his eye. Though it was saved, he couldn't see as well from it as he could before. As much as Aries tried to hide it it became painfully obvious over time that Aries' once dominant hand was now shooting at a considerably slower rate and that his once impeccable accuracy had suffered a considerable blow

    This nurtured the birth of a deep hatred from Aries towards Vincent and he became increasingly reckless and aggressive in behavior, especially so while on missions, seeming to desperately be running against the treadmill that was his decreasing skills as a sharpshooter, ready to do anything and everything to prove to himself and to others that he was still on top.

    Eventually it all became too much for him and he was pushed over the edge. On a particular mission with Vincent, Aries suddenly killed the two other Turks who'd been assigned to the assassination mission and challenged Vincent to one last shoot-out, a duel to the death. Perhaps t was in his mind the only way he could finally prove that he was still the superior soldier, or maybe it was the only way he could allow himself to die, preferring to be remembered as a murderous traitor than a once great soldier who'd withered away and become useless. Either way Vincent had no other choice but to accept and after giving everything he had to take down his old rival Aries was finally shot down and released from his pain and anguish. Records state this event as the death of Aleistar Sleight. In truth, it was the birth of the Tsviet who would come to be known as Aries the Invincible.

    Thirty years later, after Deepground's rebellion against the Restrictors, Argento quickly discovered about how Weiss' mind had been taken over by Hojo's fragments, as a result she began secretly experimenting with genesis' genes to find a way to expel his influence from Weiss' body but also to find a way to destroy the virus that plagued Weiss' body as Hojo's mind was the only thing allowing Weiss to survive despite the severe degradation of his body. In the midsts of these experiments the fusion of a genesis gene variant into an artificially harnessed mako well had the surprising effect of creating a tainted' or 'dark' mako which was notably more potent than it's normal variant but also seemed to have distinctly nefarious effects on organic mater such as mutation, loss of sanity in animal test subjects and advanced physical degradation due to chaotic power flow and theorized negative reaction between the dark mako and the natural life stream energy within the subjects. However said subjects were also able to survive an incredibly large amount of physical degradation before wilting away. In essence though their bodies decayed faster due to the negative reactions and mutations, if their bodies decayed at a normal rate the test subject would have survived twice as long as their un-altered counterparts due to their ability to live despite highly degraded and aged bodies.

    This gave Argento the idea to experiment with both natural and artificial mako and materia in exposure to dark mako in an attempt to stabilize it. These experiments proved to be failures as proximity to any other lifestream derivative only caused it to become even more unstable and volatile in nature. more experiments also revealed that it was impossible to condense this mako into materia as it's volatile and constantly moving nature prevented it from becoming a stale, solid object.

    Various tests seemed to indicate that the mako itself almost had a will of its own that made it 'dislike' lifestream products. Further testing then showed that the mutation effects were considerably less prominent in dead meat that had lost it's life essence already and the cells of said meat though remaining physically dead seemed to resume live-like activity if only for a short period of time before once a gain 'dying' at which point no amount of mako of any kind could reanimate it.

    These discoveries led Argento to begin experimenting on illegally preserved dead bodies to see the reaction to dark mako. After several monstrous creations and failed attempts Argento finally revived a human and was able through dark mako endure rejuvenation of his brain cells even restore most of her test subject's memories up to its point of death. that subject was Aries.

    He became something in the likelihood of Argento's assistant in her experiments, though often time the term guinea pig would be more appropriate, in return for the promise of one day being able to take out his revenge on Vincent valentine. His cybernetic arm and eye are the result of two among many of these experiments that tested the fusion of Dark Mako powered machines to new-living (the term used for organic mater given movement again through dark materia injection) flesh. The data gained from Aries allowed for Argento to gain a very deep understanding of Dark Mako and it's possible applications. As a result, with Aries' aid in the experiments, she was able to revive eleven more dark mako soldiers which she dubbed the Dark Tsviets, one modeled and named after each astrological sign. This force was supposed to be a new breed of deep-ground soldier meant to over-take the original colored Tsviets and defeat Weiss so that Argento could use the Dark Materia to save Weiss and revive his memories without Hojo's Mind contaminating them.


    However her experiments were discovered by Deepground shortly before its rise and she was accused of treason. Her laboratory was stormed by soldiers, her data, equipment of dark mako were all destroyed and the Dark Tsviets were massacred. Only a handful she had hidden away shortly beforehand in hibernation chambers below the laboratory were spared. She was subsequently captured and executed, and the four remaining Dark Tsviets would sleep away the rise and fall of Deepground as it did battle with the WRO and Vincent Valentine vanquished Hojo, Weiss and Omega.

    Only five years later, when investigative teams from the WRO found the four hidden hibernation pods would Aries and his three siblings again awaken. Killing the WRO members without hesitation they escaped Deepground, each taking with them a memento from the laboratory so they would never forget their murdered brothers and sisters.

    Aries took with him the broken remnants of Aquarius' hover-board and restored it to its former glory. Modifying it to be compatible with his original Dark Mako rather than the less potent and more stable variant originally used by Aquarius.

    The four Dark Tsviets went their separate ways shortly after, each choosing their path with the notion of now having been given a second chance at life in mind. For the past five years Aries has wandered the world alone, searching for the man who killed him, intent on settling his old score one and for all.

    Favorite line: Nothing will get in the way of my vengeance, not even death.

    Name: Tsurigimaru Koga

    Clothes: (minus the face mask and bracers, the undershirt is sleeved)

    Hair: His hair is wild and unruly, brown in color and have to be held up by a headband else the bangs would always be in his eyes (now they fall just short of his eyebrows)

    Eyes: his eyes are of a fierce gold coloration

    Other: The right side of his neck along with a small portion of the lower right side of his face is scarred by burn marks, taking off his clothes reveals that a large portion of the right side of his chest and right arm have also been burned.

    Weapon(s):

    The Cursed Fuma (wind demon) shuriken:

    A giant shuriken with four blades connected by a large ring in the center and two handles sticking out perpendicularly in the middle of the ring.Most fearsome of three great shinobi weapons, the giant shuriken is actually two separate weapons and spinning one of the handles will make the two blades of the shuriken that the handle is lined up with spin as well. Lining up the handles top be parallel will enable you to pull the shuriken apart to give you two double ended daggers with a ring hand guards. Each dagger also has a movable blade that can be lined up with the first one to give you a straight dagger with two parallel blades rather than a double bladed dagger, adding to the versatility of the weapon.

    The weapon contains Great magical power and increases the wielder's ninjutsu considerably but it also comes at a price, the blade will constantly seek to devour its user's soul and try to turn him into a wind demon. In addition, the fuma clan cursed the blade to bestow terrible misfortune on whomever wielded the blade if they themselves were not of the fuma bloodline the day the koga wiped them out. Tsurugimaru is the first person to dare touch the weapon since.

    The Koga bracer of strength :

    The most prized koga heirloom handed down only from clan leader to clan leader and one of three great shinobi tools. It increases it's user's strength and dexterity to an incredible degree, allowing for otherwise impossible acrobatics. It is also imbued with a special binding ninjutsu that allows its creator to summon a magical string from the gauntlet with which they can latch on to far away surfaces to get across long distances over a short period of time or use it to tie up unsuspecting targets.

    Powers: As a slacker, Tsurugimaru often neglected his training, as such he has not mastered many ninjutsu techniques such as the henge, the clone technique or the body swap. He is however extremely proficient in shuriken skills and is second to none with trowing weapons. He is also, as with any member of the Koga, excellent at parkour arts, even before obtaining his family's bracer he could execute jumps and maneuvers others would consider inhuman and there were few walls he could not climb. The Fuma shuriken has now given him access to the powerful elemental ninjutsu techniques perfected by the Fuma centuries ago as well.

    Styles:

    Shuriken Master: A style that makes use of the Fuma Shuriken's full shuriken form to do heavy damage on many targets within the player's vicinity and can catch far-away targets off guard by pressing L2/LT and switching to long-range mode, subsequently allowing you to throw the shuriken in straight lines. This is also the form that most utilizes the Fuma Shuriken's destructive element based ninjutsu. (Main Stats: Str)

    Dual Dagger Acrobat: This style put emphasis on Tsurugimaru's light and limber body and the improvements given to it by the bracer more than anything. Twirling the dual bladed daggers expertly, the player can unleash extended chains of complex attacks on either group of enemies or a single target that put emphasis on constant movement to allow many skillful dodges while always being in a position to counter. This, difficult to master but deadly when learned, style can easily incorporates your surroundings and even other enemies in your strikes, doges and counters, and uses this to make up for its over-all low attack strength. In return however it has a very limited long-range style which simply makes Tsurugimaru's blades float in front of his hands with wind ninjutsu and gives him farther reach when executing simple strikes. The ninjutsu at your disposition in this style work with the concept of constant movement and aren't as destructive or imposing as those in the Shuriken Master Style.(Main Stat: Grc)

    Shredding Demon: Using the parallel blade daggers form of the Fuma shuriken, this style puts heavy emphasis on Tsurugimaru's skills in CQC and is best suited for quickly dispatching strings of single targets rather than taking on groups of enemies. Not quite as powerful as the Shuriken Master Style, the Shredding Demon Style is capable of inflicting more damage in a shorter amount of time with much faster strikes than it's two counterparts. The long-ranged mode combines the strength of one of your daggers and that of the Gauntlet of the Koga's strings , allowing you to swing one of the blades at an enemy or to use the blade as a makeshift hook shot to obtain access other wise unreachable places. (Main Stat: Spd)

    Team Leader Field Advantages: Ninja speed (fast movement in the field), can Wall-Run, can access secret areas/short cuts using parkour and free-running.

    Personality: Lazy, impatient, hard headed and somewhat simple-minded, Tsurugimaru is the kind of man who always prefers to settle arguments with force rather than words. He lives by no code of honor or rules but his own and bows down to no man. He seeks revenge on the man who destroyed his clan but has no real intention of rebuilding it, he also often spits on the ghosts of his ancestors and the teachings of his clan, claiming that he seeks revenge for his own reason and that the honor of a dead clan means nothing to him personally.

    Despite all these obvious shortcoming Tsurugimaru is still a good person when one looks past his brash and crude exterior. He may not follow the standard code of honor but he still has his personal beliefs that he stands by no mater what. He is considerate towards the poor, elderly, weak and to children, even if not outwardly kind to anyone. He also has a strong sense of what is right and what is wrong, and (moans and complaints aside) will always do the right thing in the end. Surprisingly for a ninja he also has a distaste for outright killing opponents and usually prefers to settle things with his bare hands rather than with weapons so that he can incapacitate them without putting their lives in danger.

    It's often been pointed out that both his faults and his qualities make him about the worst person in the world to become a ninja.

    Bio: Once the lazy prince of the Koga, Tsurugimaru was a constant source of disappointment to his father and clansmen. Since his birth he bore the responsibility of 'next clan head' and as a result was always put under tremendous pressure to excel in every ninja art and become a skilled assassin. However Tsurugimaru always disliked the idea of having to kill people whom had done nothing to him personally, often found himself incapable of grasping the complicated concepts of ninjutsu and weapon mastery due to the fact that his will to do so was not strong enough. This only caused more pressure to be put on him and once he hit his rebellious phase he quickly decided that the teachings of ninja clansmen were decrepit and outdated in this day and age.

    Regardless of the fact that japan had quickly reverted to a state resembling the Edo period under the influence of the Yoshitaka family, a clan which had seized control of the country in the past century and had once again closed it off to the rest of the world over the last three generations, Tsurugimaru was convinced that the life of an assassin was one for fools and began skipping out on nearly every training mission he could, choosing instead to spend his time honing his parkour and throwing skills, as he enjoyed both arts and viewed them more as sports than ninja training. Or, on days where he felt like doing no training at all, he would sleep the days away in one of his many secret spots. In his mind he wished that he would never have to become head of such a backwards clan. He would soon get his wish.

    One year, Tenma Yoshitaka, current head of the Yoshitaka household, began extending invitations to the Koga clan, asking them to serve under him and work as his personal assassins. The clan, whom had always lived as their own masters, refused the proposals without second thought. Becoming a servant house was not something any of them would accept and it was already common news that the Iga, whom had long served the Japanese government before the Yoshitaka seized control, were still fighting a relentless war to loosen the Yoshitaka house's hold on Japan. It would be shameful if the Koga simply accepted servitude when their sworn rivals were still fighting proudly after three generations of struggles. As a result, one night, without warning, the Yoshitaka house's warriors stormed the Koga village and, with help of an internal spy, massacred everyone they could find. Though the Koga fought valiantly, they had been betrayed and were heavily outnumbered, they fell in one night.

    During said night Tsurugimaru was given his two family's greatest heirlooms from his father, the Gauntlet of the Koga and the Shuriken of the Fuma which the Koga had acquired many centuries ago the day they wiped out the Fuma demon ninja clan. Giving these to his son, he tasked him with the sole life mission to avenge their clan and then had him escape the burning village with two bodyguards. He, his body guards and the traitor, his aunt by marriage Lady Sakuya, were the only remains of the Koga clan after that night.

    Three years later Tsurugimaru and his bodyguards re-appeared from the shadows of the world. Having trained his body hard, Tsurugimaru led his two clansmen into the Yoshitaka Corp.'s headquarters in order to find and eliminate Tenma Yoshitaka once and for all. However once he found and faced the man he was over-powered. Even the strength of his two heirlooms was not great enough to stand up to the man who had proclaimed himself to have become no less than a demon king. His bodyguards were killed and he was beaten half to death himself. He would have no doubt suffered the same fate as the bodyguards if he had not been rescued, albeit against his will, by and Iga spy that had infiltrated the building beforehand. He would later find out that the girl who had knocked him out and escaped with him out of the building was none other than the princess of the Iga, Kanahime herself,and that she now had proclaimed his life as hers to command since she's saved him from being killed by Tenma.

    He is now forced to travel with her as they head back to Iga where he is expected to help her dismantle the Yoshitaka siege currently held on the Iga village.

Such as the ability to become completely untraceable when in the shadows, the ability to assume the appearance of others and the ability to cast off the gazes of others, making it impossible for them to focus on you even if you are right n front of them. When put in the hands of a skilled assassin the shadowmask can potentially become the most powerful, and deadly, of all three ninja artifacts.

    Black Widow Senbon

    Expertly crafted senbon designed to make nearly no noise when traveling through the air. Though highly durable as weapons the senbon actually dissolve away into black powder when they come in contact with blood. What part of the senbon is outside the body will be drifted away on the wind but the powder itself can be one of many deadly poisons or drugs used by the Iga, and the powder that enters the victim's bloodstream will take effect usually within the next minute, turning the senbon into powerful status ailment inflicting weapons.

    Dark Princess Daggers

    Daggers crafted of the shadows themselves by the ancient mystics. A family heirloom of the Iga clan, passed down from one head kunoichi to the next for countless generations. It is said that their lustrous blades, empowered by the moon's glow, possess strength nearly as fearsome as that of the three great ninja artifacts.

    Powers: Kanahime is the model of a perfect Iga ninja, as such she is fluent in the arts of deception above all else and her keen eyes are accustomed to locating and identifying traps laid out before her both in the field and in the actions of those around her. She is quick and stealthy and incredibly crafty. That, mixed with the powerful ninjutsu granted to her by the mask of the Iga Shadowmask make her a lethal enemy one would not want to meet in a dark alleyway.

    Styles:

    Living Shadow:A style Ill-suited for direct combat, especially with multiple enemies but that makes up for it by greatly increasing the effectiveness of the shadowmask's powers. Many stealth abilities such as the Henge and Shadow cloak techniques will become available to you after a short time practicing in this style and masters of the living shadow can walk right by most enemies without being detected. Stealth strikes are also much more powerful in this style. (Main Stats:Grc)

    Silent assassin: Kanahime's main combat ability, in this style the player will learn many martial arts techniques for quickly and quietly dispatching enemies. The few ninjutsu unlocked in this style focus around combat, and counter maneuvers such as shadow double and the false death techniques. Attempted assassinations while you are hidden from the enemy's sight have a much higher chance of succeeding in this form.(Main Stat:Spd)

    Nightmare Sting: Finally, the form that makes best use o the Black Widow Senbon. Nightmare Sting's move-list has many actions that incorporate the senbon even in normal combat. Techniques unlocked in this mode also grant usage of different poisoned needles for added diversity in status affliction, this style also grants much longer range when throwing senbon in ranged mode. The odds of your senbon inflicting status ailments increase greatly when using this style.(Main Stat:Acu)

    Team Leader Field Advantages: ninja speed, trap detection, Lowered enemy perceptiveness (can get closer before being detected)

    Personality: Cold, logical, Harsh, Unforgiving and extremely analytical, Kanahime is the very embodiment of what a ninja 'should' be. She prises her mission above everything else including her life and those of her comrades, and is entirely devout to her clan. She is also quite manipulating and will nearly always find a way to get others to do as she wishes. When she doesn't get her way however she shows a surprisingly immature side of herself by picking a silent fit and giving the cold shoulder to whomever it is that has angered her. Also, despite her strong attachment to the laws of her people, she also has a strong sense of justice and as such, will often bend the rules and loophole her way into being able to do what is right. She does, however, keep track of all services rendered and to whom so that she can later extract a favor of equal value if needed. This makes her a harsh negotiators and makes some wonder just how virtuous her deeds really are,

    Bio: First born child of Hanzo Saotome, leader of the Iga, Kanahime's sex did not deter her father from putting her onto the path of becoming the next clan head, even with three brothers being born within five years of her. Lack of a childhood is putting her existence lightly. Unforgiving and cold as it was, her upbringing forged her into an equally cold and unforgiving warrior who placed order and law above all else. She trained relentlessly and studied without respite, learning the ways to end life until they were all second-nature to her. She was a ninja, a living weapon, nothing more, nothing less.

    It was while she had infiltrated Tenma Yoshitaka's headquarters on an espionage mission that she would meet Tsurugimaru Koga. Brash, reckless and wild, he dishonored the name ninja in every way possible. But he was powerful. Powerful and crafty, like a wild monkey god. And those tow qualities had proven enough to get him all the way to the top of Yoshitaka Corp.s headquarters and let him come face to face with Tenma himself. Though Tsurugimaru was beaten effortlessly by the self-proclaimed demon king, Kanahime saw potential. His craft and strength were two qualities that were often lacking in the men of the Iga, and the wild monkey could prove useful if she 'convinced' him to help the Iga repel the Yoshitaka forces currently besieging their sacred village.

    Because of this, she stepped in just as Tenma was going to finish Tsurugimaru and saved the boy from his fate before grabbing hold of him and escaping from Yoshitaka corp.s tower with him.

    Shichimaru's trusty revolver. It was the first gun he ever handled and cares for it more than any of his other weapons. When he handles it, no one can shoot faster than he can. He has bullets stashed away all over his body and wastes no time throwing them in the air and reloading his gun while they're falling back down so as to waste as little time between volleys as possible.

    Fang

    A powerful buckshot with a ridiculous kick. The fact that Shichimaru can fire it with one hand and retain accuracy is a testament to his physical strength and training. He's become apt at firing it from various strange angles so as to blow away enemies behind, above and beside him without even looking, maximizing on the efficiency as the shots are slow even if powerful.

    Stinger

    One of the very few weapons to have survived the Yoshitaka's technological 'purge', it was a prototype sniper rifle that was designed to fire energy-based blaster bolts rather than metal bullets, as such there are very few surfaces that can even slow down the shots, let alone stop them. However it is still a prototype and it is prone to over-heating, restricting the amounts of shots fired in a row to two or three. The reload time is also long but the advanced laser guidance aiming technologies incorporated in the rifle ensure that when one fires it, every shot counts.

    Akuma

    Shichimaru's heirloom sword passed down to him by his father, the only memento of his time as a disciple of the Three Heavens Sword martial arts school. It was originally named Tenshi but, once in his hands, Shichimaru felt as if the spirit of the sword shifted and he decided Akuma was now more appropriate.

    Friend

    Shichimaru's ever-present flask of sake. He uses it to unleash his inner demon and incorporates it in all three of his styles.

    Powers: shichimaru's gunslinging is second to none in all the land and, if that wasn't bad enough, he has incorporated deadly sword kills into his styles as to best fit each weapon he fights with. Because of this Schichimaru masters both short and long range attacks and can adapt to nearly any situation or enemy despite his low amount of magical or spiritual abilities.

    Styles:

    Wild Gun: The style which utilizes Akuma in conjunction with Claw. This style focuses completely on speed and continuity over force, cutting any enemy nearby into ribbons and riddling all of those far away with holes before they can even react. This Style is the one with the highest amount of combos and is perfect for dealing with mobs of weak enemies.

    Buck Shot: In this style Shichimaru forsakes speed, range and precision for sheer destructive force. Fang's spread shot will blow anything directly in front of it to bits and at least knock down anything that could withstand the force. Similarly Shichimaru will wield akuma in a stance that will put emphasis on heavy, slow and powerful cleaving strikes. This style is preferable for taking out heavily armored troops.


    Flash Point:


    Team Leader Field Advantages:

    Personality: Witty, calm and easy-going, Shichimaru lives by the blades, bullets and booze. Never seen anywhere without his guns, katana and flask of sake on him, he doesn't like to rush things or deal with loud people. He often seems absent minded and care-free to the point of having Alzheimer as he'll tell people to slow down and observe nature around them and then, after a few moments of silence, ask them who they were again. He moves mostly on whim and likes to observe the going-ons around him like he was watching tv, acting like the world was just a big play designed to entertain him. As such he'll just walk away from anything that bores him but will stick by any 'interesting' situation even if it means risking his life in the process. He has deep respect and interest in strong fighters and will challenge anyone he believes is at least as strong as he is, however, due to his enormous strength and fearsome reputation, he usually doesn't get the chance to do so very often.

    Power/Skills/Training: Jacky is an advanced Thermokinetic. His sub-classification would be Microthermokinetic since he does not, like most of his brethren, have the power to alter/control ambient heat to a great degree over a large area of effect. Instead, Jacky's mind waves act like magnet ends for heat. If he creates and condenses 'positive' mental waves heat will be drawn and condensed to that space to such a degree that the super-heated atoms will actually begin to give off light, making it seem like he is crating an orb of heat or 'fire'. Consequentially if he uses 'negative' mental waves he will banish all heat from an area, causing the water molecules to freeze together making it seem like he created ice or snow (Note: The different brain waves have no real electromagnetic charge, positive and negative are terms he uses to differentiate between those that attract and those that repel heat). Though his power is really just one, he loves to act as if they are two separate entities calling the manipulation of heat in the air to make ice formations Cryokinesis and the condensation of heat to make flame formations Infernokinesis (he originally called it Pyrokinesis but the ability was wholly separate from the documented power recorded by the DSE; thus, upon registration, he was forced to come up with a new name for it. They let him keep the flashy name to satisfy his immature mind but on record they have classified his technique as Solarkinesis and have made a point to identify it as wholly separate from Photokinesis).

    Equipment: Jacky always carries around three things with him. Small, mechanical discs around one and a half inches thick and ten inches in diameter with various small nozzles protruding out of the sides at a distinct angle. These discuses are custom made for his use and are filled with water. A small button along the edge of the discuss will activate the mechanism inside, Jacky will then throw the discus in the air either in front of him or towards an enemy or even a small group of enemies. Only two seconds after the mechanism has been activated, all the water inside will be violently forced out of the nozzles, making the discus spin violently. The nozzles are designed not so that the water shoots out in jets but in a thick mist. This makes the discuses practical as a makeshift smoke bomb in restrained areas but their true purpose is to augment the amount of moisture in the air around them as this makes Jackie's Cryokinesis much more more versatile and useful. He also has a tendency to use them as freeze bombs, freezing the water nearly as soon as it erupts from its pressurized confines to capture and encase any nearby target.

    the two other objects are a lighter and a tightly sealed whiskey flask. Inside the flask however is no alcohol, but instead jet fuel. He rarely makes use of this potentially devastating weapon to actually cause damage. He instead lets drip some fuel on the ground and ignites it with the lighter to create heat in cold areas where his powers are much less effective. Essentially, the fuel is only there to give him 'ammo'.

    Appearance: He is around 5'9" and weighs 147lbs. with short shaggy black hair. His eyes were originally both sky blue but he had the left one altered later on in life to make it red, simply for cosmetic purposes. He is, naturally quite athletic thanks to his job and know how to fight without use of his powers if needed but he is no martial artists and his physical prowess is still only at normal human level.

    History: As a child, Salem always hated his nickname and his last name. 'Jackie', 'Frostson', both were a constant reminder of the torment he and his family suffered at the hands of their community. For centuries it was local legend that Salem's family was directly descended from the Irish faerie-god of lore, Jack Frost. The legend was proven true three years prior to Salem's birth when, after the parting of his wife from this world, Salem grandfather isolated himself within the family mansion with but one butler, as to mourn her in solitude. The mourning only lasted one night since by the next morning the mansion had completely frozen over. The servant had been found frozen, his hand still warped casually around his master's bedchamber door handle. One could tell by the unsuspecting expression on his face that the freeze had come quickly and the man had not known he was breathing his last breath when it took him over.

    Though the mansion itself thawed out over the next week it took three months before they were able to open the doors to the grandfather's bedchamber. Even after so much time had elapsed since the man's passing, and on such a hot mid-summer day, the room was still cold from the vast powers released by the man in his last mourning and depressed wail of sorrow. They found the man, asleep, dead, in his luxurious bed; wrapped in the arms of a snow carving of his deceased wife.

    Despite the world-wide knowledge of super talented beings by this point the small English community in which the family lived was old fashioned and superstitious. Rumors of witchcraft and sorcery began floating, whispers of pacts with the devil and worship of pagan gods were uttered behind the Frostson family's back and over-night their prestige and esteem in the community was transformed into fear and spite. To these people the term 'Thermokinetic' meant nothing, and they instead labeled the innocent Frostsons as monsters, fair folk and devils.

    soon enough this maltreatment was done openly and by the time Salem entered school he was already a target for bullying and all the cruelty children could muster. The term "Jackie" was already used as a pejorative designating his entire family. He grew to hate it with a passion.

    That was until the day of course that a few children ganged up on him and began beating him up severely.

    Beatings were not something Salem was unused to of course, but this time it was especially vicious, Salem had done something bad. Salem, a young boy of 13 by the time, had finally reached that age where tender feelings first awaken in a boy's heart and he had grown to become too affectionate of one of his oppressor's little sister, one of the rare few people in the village who treated him with any sort of kindness at all. Salem had been no fool, had not had any delusions of romance or mutual feelings, he was simply deeply thankful to the girl who made daily life a little less miserable for him by doing no more than treating him like an ordinary human being. But this in itself was enough of a crime to earn him a violent beating the likes of which no child should ever have to suffer nor be capable of giving out. His bully would never have a 'dirty rotten Jackie' getting anywhere near his sister, let alone befriending her.

    As usual that day Salem just took the beating, preferring not to resist and let them do as they would to spare himself yet more agony. This suddenly changed however when he heard the boys talk about the girl in question, about how they would have to 'punish' her as well for having dared to go against them and make friends with a Jackie. Salem would have nothing of it, he wouldn't allow the girl to be hurt for his own mistakes. He did not want to know he was the reason the only person he cared for was going to cry.

    He struggled, in vain, and the beating only got worse. From that point forward however the cruel punishment took a different turn. Though Salem was still clearly on the losing end, the strikes were no longer keeping him banished to the deep dark sorrowful prison in his mind that his daily torture had created over the years. From that point on every strike seemed only to bring him back to life more and more, fueling the rage in his eyes. The simple minded bullies could not understand it, and as they could not understand it they feared it, and because they feared it their aggression only grew.

    Perhaps if some had stopped to think for two seconds, they would have noticed the steadily increasing heat in the small shed in which they were giving out the beating, perhaps then the following tragedy could have been avoided. Perhaps then the leading bully would not have tried to throw that last fateful punch that pushed Salem too far.

    As the fateful strike was about to hit, the young boy's shirt sleeve caught on fire. Shocked by the sudden development he backed off, trying to put out the flames. The spectacle made those who were restraining Salem loosen their grip on him, that was all he needed. He wrestled himself free and used the now awakened powers flowing in his veins to set the clothes of the two who had been holding him on fire, then quickly spreading the heat of the flames to the rest of the delinquents. He stoppered all their attempts at putting out the flames. The fires of his hatred and anger had finaly consumed him, and thus, the flames of his blood's power devoured his oppressors. The six bullies died in an inferno that brought the shed down on their corpses that day, the only one to make it out was Salem himself.

    The first person he went to afterward was the girl, seeking the comfort she always brought him. However, things would not proceed as he would have wished. The moment he showed her what he could now do and told her of what he had had to do to her brother and his friends, she turned on him like all the rest. Like all the rest, out of fear she called him a monster and a devil. Unlike all the rest however, when the word 'Jackie' came from her lips, it did not make him feel ashamed or angry, but instead sent a lance piercing through young Salem's heart.

    The young boy ran away. The last person to have faith in him and yet he'd made her hate him. In the end she still cried because of him. That day he truly wished for death beyond anything in the world.

    By this time some of the villagers had already extinguished the fires in the shed and were just now finding the bodies hidden underneath its remains. By instinct they immediately put blame on the 'devil child', the 'spawn of the fair folk' and set out to hunt him down.

    The child didn't even make it out of town before being caught. The adults were out for blood and surely, they would have killed the child then and there that day hadn't it been for the intervention of a visitor in the small town.

    A man who turned out to be a super-powered gun for hire currently under contract with the ministry to investigate the urban legends surrounding the Frostsons. The man, a super-speedster, effortlessly protected the child against the bloodthirsty scoundrels and offered him escape from the town, escape his life and begin anew. He would offer him a world where his powers made him better than lowly humans not the other way around.

    The child, still bemused by the man's supernatural speed, strength and powers thoughtlessly accepted, not even thinking of saying goodbye to his family. He knew in his heart they would not miss him either way. they did not need yet another member of their family to bring them trouble.

    little over a decade later Salem has moved to the US and now embraces the name Jackie as his own, and has become a menacing figure in the underworld. A mercenary and a bounty hunter, he enjoys the thrill of the hunt more than anything in the world. Chasing down, capturing and , when the job permits, killing super criminals is the joy of his life. Proving his superiority over not only the lowly humans but over others possessing gifts as well, finding purpose of his existence in the blood of others. As a rule he only takes jobs from official authorities or jobs that require the capture or elimination of criminals. This is less done out of some twisted sense of justice and more because he simply considers criminals to be a better challenge in general.

    He enjoys posing as two separate bounty hunters as well. One being Jack Frost, the other known as Jack O'Lantern and depending under which name he takes a job he will only use ice or fire respectively to capture a target as well as cover up one of his eyes with an eye-patch, showing only the one whose color matches the style of Thermokinesis he's chosen to rely on (Jack Frost = Blue right eye, Jack O'Lantern = Red left eye). This provides an interesting handicap for him during his hunting games and the result is that most of the underground world believes he is in fact two brothers competing for the title of best mercenary. Those who do know that the two are in fact one usually know to him as Frost O'Lantern when they he wishes to be known under an alias.

    To this day his dream is to take on a Thermokinetic of equal or higher level than him. He would love to see the famed criminal Freezerburn escape from his prison if only to give Jackie the opportunity to hunt him down.

    Personality: Hot headed... no really FLAME headed. ANYTHING can piss him off and he LOVES to fight, or more to the point, beating the crap out of stuff. But he can be nice.... in his own way. He’s really just a kid at heart so as easy as it is to anger him it's just as easy to win him over. He has a slight fear of women (another child-like trait) especially those with large breast. Hates anyone who thinks they're superior to him (thus the fighting mostly on the side of fusions to pound the psycho-sci's faces in)

    Appearance: you ever heard the expression mountain of muscle? Yeah well sprinkle a little bit of scales, some razor sharp claws and a diamond hard fang or two... hundred- and you have the general look. There are three types of scales (the placement and attributes of each will be explained in the powers section) type1 scales are deep red, type2 scales are salmon pink and type3 are ruby red. His fangs are gleaming white and his claws emerald green. Because scales cover his scalp he has no hair and his eyes are ruby red. His cheeks are severed and also covered in scales to open up with the rest of the jaw; however he can form a slim membrane between the top and bottom jaws to act as cheeks and allow him to speak like a normal human. He wears a long gray cloak with a hood when he goes out in public (which is rare) but other than that he prefers to walk around and fight practically nude (since nothing fits him anyways) he only wears a red Speedo to cover his privates.

    -Animal(s): several big reptiles such as crocodiles, the Komodo dragon and the Japanese salamander were spliced together to create the closest thing to a mythic western dragon possible before they injected its DNA into baby Marlin. The number of failed attempts and unsuccessful splices that may or may not have made an impact in later experiments and even the sheer amount of reptiles used makes it impossible to tell which one(s) Salamander takes most after.

    -Physical Features: He is insanely strong physically and has amazing speed for his weight, however his endurance in comparatively low and he has a tendency to overdo it and burn himself out quickly.

    -Animal Traits: He has sharp ears and a super nose and is able to fell atmospheric changes in pressure as well as detect vibrations in the earth and changes in temperature (he can feel body heat). The tip of this tongue, as well as his two foremost canines have a flint-like property that makes sparks when he flicks them together. He also has methane glands; artificial organs built in him that connect his stomach and lungs as well as collect decaying matter in the stomach to extract flammable gasses from it. By using these to breath out gas and creating a spark in the front of his mouth he can ignite his breath to spit out fire [note this is quite limited as the glands are quite small if not numerous (about 20)].
    He also has three different types of scales covering most his body.
    >Type 1 scales form a sort of biological plate armor on his body; they are bullet proof and night-on indestructible.
    >Type2 scales cover his neck, knees, elbows and other joints since they are flexible and more rubber like. They are still far more resilient than human skin but can be pierces or slashed and take time to close up due to their leathery texture, which can easily lead to hemorrhaging.
    >Type3 scales... Well they're called scales but they're actually quite thin and easily ripped through, they are found on his gut, over his heart and small patch on his throat. They mirror and actual dragon's weak spots, they are where you need to strike, if you can get to them that is. The target areas are quite small and only a thrust-type attack could make advantage of them.

    -Animal Weakness: perhaps due to the salamander in him, Marlin is almost completely blind so he has to rely on his other senses to guide him; this makes it hard for him to fight off many enemies at once. Also he can't control his senses like other fusions can so if you over load his senses (like spray perfume up his nose, or make a loud noise near his ears) that can take them out temporarily). Also, as you'd expect from a reptile, he's cold blooded, like REALLY cold blooded. He'll often sleep in the fire place, cold blooded. So yeah Salamander + temperature below freezing = Big dead lump o scales. Ok well not instantly dead, first his body will shut down and go into some type of intense hibernation status but if he stays in that state too long it'll be impossible to bring him back no matter how hot you get him. Yes that means even a naked fang won't bring him back after 'dead hour'<--(cuz it takes about an hour of hibernation for him to die)

    Contaminant:
    -Contamination: strong
    -Contaminant Powers: If he eats the flesh of a bio-freak or a fusion the gas in his methane glands will take on a different chemical compound which will allow him to solidify it in his mouth. It'll only be the size of about a marble (per sac) but if lit and spit it will explode on contact (and it\'s a pretty big explosion for something the size of a marble)
    -Drawbacks: Eating genetically modified meat makes Salamander sick and he can\'t extract gasses for about twenty four hours after ingestion.

    Bio: A native from Jamaica. Marlin lived a life similar to Winx's. he was trapped and continuously tested on by the psycho-sci's and always pitted against stronger and stronger monsters that they came up with, and wining every time. The only difference between him and Winx was that he loved it. Not the tests of course, those he could have gone without. But destroying the monsters, the bio freaks, he couldn't get enough of it, every time that he stepped into the arena it became hard to tell who was more monsters, he or the bio-freaks. He lived to fight and prove his worth. He would probably still be working for the psychos if one day one of the idiots hadn't been stupid enough to call him weak, to call him "nothing more than a shiny silver medal". You see Salamander obviously wasn't born with only one eye. He’d lost it in a fight. The only fight he'd ever lost at that. And it was to his 'little brother' Jason Brown A.K.A Bahamut. Why the fantastic name? Because, if salamander was the equivalent of the dragon lord from myth then, Bahamut was most definitely the dragon king. He looked almost identical to salamander in appearance but he had black, violet and blue scales, wings and proper eyes. Anyways, having been reminded of his only defeat, and a crushing one at that, salamander saw for the first time, the condescending smirks that the scientists had been giving him all his life. He couldn't stand the thought of such weaklings thinking themselves superior to him so he went berserk, destroyed the lab, killed every last bio-freak and scientist, and began traveling the world with two concrete goals. Kill any psycho-sci or bio-freak he ever met and become strong enough to one day kill the little brother he hadn't seen since that dark day.

    Tsubame is a born and raised combattant. His family owns one of the oldest dojos in the city and his whole life he was thought the ways of combat by his fater. His father wanted him to become just as he, a powerful, inteligent man who had to bow down to no one, an heir worthy of succeding their martial arts school. thus, from early childhood, Tsubame's entire life was monopolized by his spartna-like father who divided all of Tsubame's spare time between training and study. There were no time for friends. Tsubame was taught that only weakligs relied on friends, that men had to carve out their own path in the world, that 'friends' would only slow him down and eventually betray him.

    This was his whole world. training, study, rest, diets, separation, meditation. 'The life of a lone wolf destined to become a leader of men' as his father called it.

    the brainwashing was so cmplete that all throughout his school years Tsubame never once questioned his father's teachings. He kept his distance from all his classmates, looking down on them for their lazy, care-free attitudes and their individual weaknesses that they could only surmount by huddling together like insects. He was satisfied with nothing but being top of every single class, and destroyed any oponent mercilessly when he got into the kendo clubs.

    This was only reinforced by his father at home, who expected that tsubame score perfectly on every test and would scold him heavily if he lost any match.

    Tsubame became hard and cold just liek his father wanted, and expected that he would live out the rest of his days just as his father had planed. Eventually becoming a successor to the dojo, finding a worthy wife to give him a son whom he would in turn train and instil with the same values his father instilled in him.

    Things of course, were not meant to be. On the return of a faithful trip to guam where he had been forced to go, the plane carrying his entire grade and several other passengers made a crash landing on a deserted island filled with animals none had ever seen before. for the first time in his life Tsubame was forced to accept the fact that he could not survive on his own. He did not know how to cook or prepare food, he did not know how to build shelter, how to avoid dangerous plants. All his accademics were now completely useless to him. All he knew how to do was fight, and even then he had only been able to sneak his boken on board the plane, his real katana was still sitting in his room back home. He was forced to swallow his pride and accept that he would need to be in a group to survive. however his loner attitude and condenscending air did not make him any more popular here than he was back at school and he found himself often being expelled from other groups once they felt they no longer needed his protection from teh animals. Drifting from one group to another he realized that his father was rigt. other people only slow you down and eventually betray you.

    He is currently wandering alone on the island, having been expelled from his last group only two days ago, surviving on some fruit and meats he stole from them after the fact. But his foodstuffs are starting to run short and he realizez that he will need to find another group to which he can lend his blade if he wants to survive on this island.

    3 Traits: Combat Genious: Thanks to his natural combination of athletic skills and academics, Tsurugi has developped a great understanding of the mechanics of combat. He analyses eveything from surounding objects, to ground type, to air moisture, to enemy stance, in order to get a complete comprehension of all the possibilities involved in a certain fight.

    Thus, even when he is outnumbered, or forced to use a weapon he is not familiar with, he can 'analyze' teh situation extensively and figure out the best strategy or the best way to use said weapon in a short amount of time. This also extends to his abilities as a commander. Though he prefers to work alone, if needed he can quickly acertain the strengths and weaknesses of people he has to fight with and coordinte them in an effective attack against enemies.

    (so basically he is just as smart as mariya but instead of being incredibly intuitive and good at deduction, his brains are used exclusively for battle purposes)

    Personality: Distant and cold by nature. Akira is somewhat of a loner at school, he doesn't very much like to mingle with his classmates or participate in extracurricular activities. He is not, however, a delinquent or bad student. He does his best to avoid confrontation with either teachers or students so he's known as the kind that will usually do what is asked of him without word or fuss. In the ring he is utterly ruthless and will destroy an opponent without pity or mercy. He does not, however, seem to take pleasure in prolonging someone else's suffering and ends any confrontation as quickly as possible so that he can move on to the next opponent. Generally he's known to keep his cool even if it seems he is loosing, something that has earned him may 'come back' victories when his opponent got too confident.
    History: Akira has lived a dual existence for as long as he could remember. Ever since he was young his father submitted him to spartan-like training in order for him to hone his body to perfection, something that has resulted in a relatively small stature for a boy, but is compensated for by a body of steel. When he turned thirteen he was brought to his first underground match, and made to compete. Going up against an opponent nearly twice his age he came out victorious after the second round. This was when he got the tattoo on his chest, a mark of honor offered to him by his father, for having finally become a man. Ever since then Akira became 'the dragon', a rising star in the world of illegal cage fighting, whilst still attending school like a 'normal' teenager. His outlook towards his school career, however, was somewhat jaded. He felt he did not belong to that world. before long the students and teachers stopped asking where the bruises came from, dismissing him as another delinquent. They kept their distance from him and he kept his from them. School, to him, was simply something which he had to get through with the least amounts of incidents possible. This went on until his last year of high school, until his father decided that, in order to keep up appearances in modern life, Akira would need to learn how to properly interact with normal people his age. This was why he was made to go along with the rest of his class on a trip to Guatemala and why he, along with the 400 other passengers on the plane was caught in a freak pocket of turbulence that ripped away one of the plane's engines and forced a crash landing into the Guatemalan Jungle.

    a pair of customized handguns that Fox has had with them for most of his career and two of the few old-gen guns that won't get simply laughed at if you pull them out these days.

    the white Fang enchants every bullet so that their split metal alloys apart as if they were butter and is designed to retain its accuracy even at long distances, whilst the black Claw is designed to fire high-impact rounds at an astonishing speed, and each gun backs a doubled magazine.

    Generally, Gray will rely on Fang to pick off armored enemies at a long distance and use Claw to ear through rows of in-close enemies. In the past, when fighting off power-armored assailants, he would usually adopt a strategy of overloading their kinetic barriers with spread fire from Claw and finish them off with a well-placed shot between the eyes with Fang.

    These two guns in his hands have taken more lives than any other firearm in JMG history, and he isn't afraid to show you why if you try and force his hand.

    Scorpion


    Gray's melee weapon of choice, Scorpion's blade is enchanted with powerful Electric energies that deliver a powerful shock to anything the blade comes in contact with save for the inside of it's sheath. Even the air around it will be seen glowing faintly if one pays attention while it is drawn (though Gray rarely keeps it out that long if possible). This makes it into a deceptively deadly weapon. while Gray is a very skilled knife wielder who could hold his own with any blade in his hands, Scorpion allows him greater variety in his strikes. Quickly slashing someone open will cauterize the wounds immediately, making it easier to cripple limbs, and still jolt them badly meanwhile. Furthermore, stabbing the blade in any part of the body, even the hand, will often prove fatal since the electric discharge can rarely be withstood by most people for more than a few moments before their heart gives out and their brain is fried.

    The electric charge is not, however, unlimited. For every moment the blade is drawn, the magic in it gets depleted as it electrocutes the air around it. all in all, Gray can keep it drawn for up to twenty minutes before it becomes just a regular blade (not that that decreases his deadliness with it by much).

    Fighting Style*: Generally Gray prefers to stay away from conflict when he can, but when the old badass needs to blow the dust off his guns he values speed and precision above everything else. He makes it a habit to never go into a fight with an opponent he knows nothing about and usually plans out every move before a single shot has been fired. fifty years of battlefield experience tends to let you predict what hopped up drug fiends on a rampage, overconfident meat heads in power suit armor and pseudo-intellectual sadist assassins are gonna do before the thought even pops into their heads.

    He never fires his guns akimbo, it's a waste of bullets and more flashy than effective. He'll use whichever is most appropriate for the target he needs to take down. If he's fighting a lot of charging enemies he'll alternate between the two, shooting one while reloading the other thanks to the clips he has hanging at his side ready for quick reloading.

    when in a situation where he needs to use scorpion he is never on the offensive, he dodges and weaves between others' strikes and wait patiently for the chance to strike them down in a one-hit-kill counter.

    he's also not stupid enough to try and play the badass hero ad go into a place guns blazing. he's not above hiding behind cover to try and make the enemy waste their ammo, using all kinds of explosives ad traps, and retreating if necessary. at the end of the day, it's the one who's still alive who's got room to brag if he wants to.

    Personality:Personality: An old hardass, Gray has very little patience for those who would waste his time and is a strict and stern leader for his jackals. This being said, however, he's not a brash man by nature, decades of fighting men both on the battlefield and in economic negotiations has taught him the importance of tact and secrecy. He does very few things if they do not profit him in the long run but is hardly blinded by greed. He sees money as a means with which too accomplish many goals, and as a many of many goals and ambitions, makes sure to always have a decent amount of money in his back-pocket. However he keeps a strict policy of honesty and fair play in all his dealings. He's never tried to swindle a man out of his propertied and strongly expects the same respect be showed to him. He is also an unbiased Businessman, creed, ethnicity, morality and social status mean nothing to him. Any man's money is as good as the next's in honest business transactions.

    Somewhat surprising for a man who has made his living from the conflict of others, Gray prefers times of peace to times of conflict, regardless of how much better for business the latter is. It is largely thanks to his efforts that the southern district has not fallen into complete chaos.

    History: An old war veteran, Fox first picked up a rifle at the age of 15 when he accompanied his father James Silver on the battlefield. His father was the previous and insofar seventh leader of the Jackals, at that time simply known as the Jackals Mercenaries Band, rather than a guild. The group had in fact been led by the Silver family since it's inception. The name Gray is also an heirloom Fox inherited from his father. It had become an unspoken tradition since the passing of the third leader, Gray Silver, to take on this new name when one took control of the group.

    More than the Jackals and his name, however, Fox inherited everything he knew from his father. His morals, his code, his ethics, all come from him, and it is through them that Gray has survived countless battlefields and led the Jackals to countless victories. The one thing that Fox developed on his own was his ambition. Up until this point the Jackals had remained a relatively small group, numbering no more than forty or so at a time and almost each member being related in some way to one of the original Jackals . Fox, however, knew this manner of existence could not continue. There were other mercenary groups out there, some much more affordable and closer to the barbarian lands where most of the contracts were dealt out. The jackals were good, maybe even the best, but in a world of peace they couldn't rely on skill and reputation alone to earn them their wages. They needed to become an organization.

    It was under Fox's leadership that the group experienced unprecedented growth. Fox began scouting talented mercenaries working either alone of in very small groups, he began establishing information networks that gradually expanded farther ad farther outside of Fortuna so that he could always be a step ahead when he needed to be. Whereas the jackals had been nearly exclusively at the request of The Order of the Winged Blade in the past, Fox now worked to forge friendly relationships with The Brotherhood of Wisdom and other political factions and embassies as well.

    With the quick, steady, organized growth of his of his group into a powerful guild, Fox established himself as a very influential, well-liked, and deeply respected individual both on the Fortunan upper class and in its underworld.

    When the Monarchy struck Fox was the quickest to respond, he had been expecting them. Word had already reached his ears about several anti-fortunan movements gaining in power and momentum with the disappearance of the Heirarchs and, though he'd never found any hard evidence backing their existence, the words 'Black Monarchy' came up too often for him to ignore them. He was, however, in no position to face a force powerful enough to challenge both the Order and the Brotherhood at the same time, so instead he had plans set up to aid the evacuation of Fortunan civilians from likely war-zones in the event if an all-out war. It was largely thanks to his and his guild members' efforts that the entire civilian population of Northton was not massacred in the monarchy's invasion, though he made sure to avoid conflict with the monarchy as much as possible during this period as to avoid making unnecessary enemies.

    With the subsequent eruption of the war, Fox used his money, friendships, favors and connections to essentially buy out the southern part of the city so as to make it a safe haven for the refugees not wanting or incapable of being part of the war. Also foreseeing the waves of incoming guns for hire, he set up his guild to double as a stable middle-man between bounty hunters and mercs and the people who would want to hire them, so that he could keep his position of power in the southern district, and also carefully keep track of the amount of foreign talent entering the city.

    Now, his guild has grown from a measly forty soldiers to well-over three hundred, all of varying abilities but exceptional skill in their respective fields. He is without a doubt the richest man in fortuna at this time and uses his influence to keep the southern district safe both from external forces and internal conflict.

    These days he has stopped going out to fight by himself, letting the younger generation have their death and glory on the battlefield, letting his Fang, his Claw, and his daughter manage the guild in the public sense while he spends more time buying and setting up contracts, as well as serving as a mentor for his adoptive son Yukimura.

    That being said, he is far from becoming decrepit in his old age as he knows full well that money and power attracts assassins and enemies, having been hired to kill many a rich man himself back in his younger years.

    Michel-André has always detested the use of firearms, far preferring swords, sabers and daggers when fighting or carrying out assassinations. However, when faced with the constantly growing technology of his enemies, he often found his adored dual-wielding style coming up short due to the tendency his blades had to get damages, and occasionally even break when he was facing power-armored enemies, especially paladins. As a result, rather than force him to change his fighting style completely, Lord King had the monarchy engineers and researchers create a special weapon meant to be used exclusively by the wielder of Erebus. Twin blades that were composed entirely of condensed magical energy. Much like light refracted through a magnifying glass would burn paper, when certain energies (most notably fire, light and lightning) were condensed together in a certain spot, their very presence and reaction can destroy anything within their perimeter. the incredible amount of condensed energy required for this effect to take place, however, makes it impossible to create and sustain large fields with this property, but making thin, long, cylindrical beams that can be used in the same fashion as swords and that can cut through practically anything? that was well within the realm of possibility, and that is exactly what was done.

    *NOTE*: whenever he doesn't have his power armor on, he still carried two enchanted (extra durable and impossibly sharp) katanas with him at all times, even while bathing or sleeping (usually since those are two of the only times he doesn't have his armor on)

    Fighting Style*: Michel-André has studied several oriental martial art forms over the course of his long life and incorporates many of them into his own personal style while fighting. He makes up for the lack of Chi control that the arts usually require with his vampiric body's natural speed and strength. He has developed an incredible sense of balance and, though he will usually simply cut through weaker enemies in lighting fast dashes and chains of strikes, when faced with someone who can keep up with his speed he shows of his true acrobatic skills, becoming a whirling, twirling, pirouetting and back-flipping flurry of slashes and thrusts. Also, he has a tendency of igniting his blades only when he is about to strike or block, a other times he keeps it shut of, which makes it much harder for his enemies to anticipate what angle his blows will be coming from, especially when he switches to reverse grip and vice-versa while his enemies are distracted with one of the blades.

    While lacking any long-range aptitudes what-so-ever, Michel-Andre more than makes up for it with his incredible speed, letting him close in on gunners quickly, and has become one of the most esteemed melee-combatants in all of Fortuna, if not the world.

    It should be noted that this is all assuming he is not using Erebus`cloaking function, which he very much enjoys relying on in order to give him an edge if ever he is faced with multiple powerful enemies or, in extreme cases, needs to make an escape.

    on the rare, very rare, occasions where he is caught without his power armor on, he fights much in the same style but uses rudimentary sanguinemancy to make up for his weakened state.

    Personality: Silent and mysterious, Michel-André rarely says more than needed. He is incredibly devoted to his lord, Alexander, and would follow him to his grave if need be. Similarly he does not tolerate treachery in the Monarchy and eliminates any potential malcontents with extreme prejudice. He is very serious about his training, pushing his immortal body to its limits every day in order to ensure he never grows careless in his service to his master.

    He has a deep, if tempered, love for oriental culture, something that comes out in both his mannerisms and sense of fashion when he is not wearing his suit or armor.

    History: A sixteenth century french-born soldier's son, Michel-André's family had been proud members of the order for generations, gallantly defending the Fortunan Union against any Scotland-born barbarian threat that presented itself. Michel-André as well would have probably followed into his father, and his father's father, and his father's father's father's footsteps if it it had not been for The Delacroix vampire clan's intervention.

    The Delacroix, former masters of the Lafontaine family whom had lost a great deal of social status when the Heirarchs came and toppled the human kingdoms to instill their own, has been bitter enemies of the Lafontaine family ever since their fall from nobility due to the fact that they had turned to vampiracy in order to fight the Heirarchs from within the shadows own territories and offer secret aid to the Barbarians. As such, though they were first and foremost proud supporters and members of the Order, the Lafontaine family also doubled as skilled vampire hunters; taking it upon themselves to end the wicked line of their former masters.

    One night, however, when Michel-André was yet only 20 and had only recently graduated from the local Order Hall, The Delacroix launched a vicious attack on the Lafontaine family estate. The raid was led by none other than Argent Delacroix, patriarch and elder of the family, a then 250 year old vampire who still remembered the days before the Heirarchs. Michel-André saw the old monster tear his father apart and dove into a cold rage, his mind focusing on nothing more than cutting down the man before him despite being armed with only a simple sword and no power armor.

    That night every member of the Lafontaine main branch family was brutally murdered, all save for Michel-André. Argent seemed to have take an interest out of the young boy who 'seemed so vampiric for a human'. Instead of killing the young man he drank of his blood and infected him with the virus then left him with a lethal wound, beaten within an inch of consciousness.

    As expected, in his weakened state Michel-André's instincts took over and he fed on a living man who found his body soon after the vampires retreated, sucking him dry of his life's blood in order to survive. Realizing what he had done immediately after, Michel-André fled the burning estate, knowing he would be prosecuted as the monster that he now was.

    Vowing vengeance against the Delacroix, Argent in particular, Michel-André used the powers that he had obtained through his curse to systematically hunt down any Delacroix he could find, this hunt taking him across the entire globe as he gradually discovered that the wretched beasts had been all too liberal in converting innocent humans and turning them into servants in order to expand their influence right under the order's nose. It was during these travels that he discovered two things. The first was his fascination with oriental culture and tradition. Everything from their forms of art, to their styles of warfare and combat was simply so exotic and interesting to him.

    The second thing he learned was that the glorified vision he had of the Order had been grossly undeserved. Both through the observation of magical creatures under their jurisdiction and through being a victim of a magical virus himself, he saw how the order's prejudice and elitism caused as much suffering and hatred within the lands of Fortuna as there was on the battlefields bordering the barbarian lands. slowly but surely he began to give up his secret dream of going back to them proudly with Argent;s head in hand so as to ask them to take him back despite his condition. His revenge quest became solely personal.

    When he did, eventually, find Argent though, the confrontation went nothing as what he had imagined. Michel-André knew that he had not seen Argent's full power on the night where he was turned, but his near-constant success in hunting down the Delacroix vampires had made him over-estimate his own power in comparison to a true vampire elder. Once again he was pitifully crushed by the old monster despite having had almost a full century to prepare for the battle. It was then revealed to him that Argent had been aware of his every movements since the very beginning. His every battle, his every victory. All had been sacrifices Argent had willingly paid in order to make Michel-André stronger, to bring out his potential and make him into a true vampire, all so that Argent could make him one of his own brood.

    Michel-André was then subsequently captured by the Delacroix and forced into a life of servitude to them, just as his ancestors had been, becoming Argent's unwilling new apprentice.

    It was after two centuries of this pitiful existence that Michel-André first met Alexander King, a vampiric tribal king from the barbarian countries. Though young and unimposing in appearance Michel-André could tell he was at least as powerful as his own master, and probably just as old. He was awed by him from the moment he met the charismatic elder. Argent was powerful, wise, cunning and iron-fisted, perfect to rule a family composed of thousands of bloodthirsy monsters. But Alexander had something more about him. He had the aura of a true leader, possessing all of Argent's qualities and more.

    Argent needed fear, politics, intelligence and treachery to maintain his position of power. Alexander, on the other hand, seemed as he would need only walk forward for men to follow behind him.

    As the friendship between Argent and Alexander grew, Michel-André also got to know the charismatic new elder as well and grew to respect him more every day.

    Eventually, Alexander offered him the chance to serve under him as his right hand and help him in his quest to rebuild his decimated forces and lay waste to the evils of the Fortunan Union, promising him the chance to take Argent's head for himself if he did so.

    Michel-André had for a long time thought he had accepted his defeat at the Delacroix's hand, but hearing Alexander's words instantly re-lit the cold flame of hatred that burned so brightly in his heart before. He accepted without question and left the Delacroix with his new master, helping him build his new clan, the Black monarchy.

    A week before the assault on Fortuna, he returned to the Delacroix and challenged Argent himself. The battle was ended in a single stroke. Michel-André decapitated the elder vampire before he had even had a chance to draw his sword and claimed the Delacroix family under his rule from further on. The few who contested him were swiftly dealt with.

    It was with this clan of vampires following him that Michel-André, now the Duke of Destruction, stormed Fortuna at his master's side. Though they served their purpose as soldiers well, Michel-André ensured that they all died by the end of the week, leading them into impossible, suicidal assaults on both the brotherhood and the order which he led personally, and was the only one to come out of alive of.

    His revenge complete, Michel-André now dedicated himself completely to Alexander's service as his most loyal Deathbringer.

    In recent years, he has taken one of his former captains as his personal apprentice. Though he is brash and his allegiance questionable, his skill is undeniable and the young man is perfect to control the powerful Thanatos suit. If nothing else, he likes having such a dangerous man close enough where he can see his every movements and knows that if he can be made to truly believe in Alexander's magnificence that he will make a fine replacement should Michel-André ever fall in battle.

    Francis' main weapon. An incredibly sturdy blade forged of enchanted obsidian. The blade is actually designed to absorb surrounding light, making it seem as if the world darkens slightly when it is drawn. Beyond the simple psychological effect this has, after absorbing enough light the blade can be 'charged' , making a luminescent shimmer dance across its edge. Once charged all the absorbed light can be discharged from the tip of the blade, creating a thin solar beam that can pierce through nearly anything.


    First Blood


    Francis' secondary weapon. This crimson blade is much lighter and sharper than Black dawn and more practical for dueling, whereas he uses black dawn to cut down multiple opponents. First Blood, on top of being enchanted with darkness magics, is actually crafted in part with vampire fangs and vampire blood and thus possesses significant sanguinemancing properties. Though Francis himself would never actually degrade himself to actually using sanguinemancy, he loves the blade for one simple fact, any wound inflicted with the blade will become cursed. Only powerful light magics can remove the curse and let the wound heal, under any other circumstance, the wound will simply not close no mater how much time elapses or what healing methods are undertaken, making it possible for someone to eventually bleed to death from even a decent scratch made by the blade.

    Golem*:

    Fighting Style*: Francis.like his father before him, despises the use of firearms and adamantly sticks to te old ways of the order, relying on his body, swords and suit alone to tear through ranks of enemies. He is not, however, the type to blindly charge forward. He always stays with his men, directing their movements and serving as a boost to morale by fighting on the front lines with them. Nothing is deadlier on the battlefield than disheartened allies.

    He will also never be seen dual wielding his blades, he fights with one or the other depending on the situation. When faced with several weaker enemies, Black dawn will be his weapon of choice as the long reach and double edge allow him to gracefully cut through several enemies with ease, and the wide, heavy blade is much better suited for blocking and parrying a multitude of attacks. Black Dawn's beam attack, though unable to be used often, is also prefect for destroying far away heavy atilery, or cutting through several ranks of grunts if the blade is swung while the beam is discharged.

    If fighting an enemy officer of considerable skill, or conversely enemies with powerful and inaccessible healers backing them, he will switch to First Blood, knowing that a single serious injury is all he needs to inflict in order to win, even if it wouldn't usually be fatal, as the victim will quickly bleed to death afterward provided they don't get to a powerful light-based healer in time (which is easier said than done since most magical healers are water-based, Medics typically use easily harvested water and nature-based potions, and 50% of Light magicians are illusionists). When fighting with First blood, Francis will give up his wide, graceful, circular swings for more quick, controlled and precise diagonal and vertical slashes as well as rapid thrusts. He will opt to dodge rather than block or parry and will become much more aggressive both in offense and in countering.

    He usually doesn't bother too much with giving his Golem very specific directions, preferring to give him general commands and let the advanced Anima do its work. The Berserker is mostly used to destroy other golems and heavy artillery and vehicles by making him quickly move in behind enemy lines and destroy them, using his great speed and maneuverability to avoid significant damage in the process.

    If Francis enters a duel, he will typically order the berserker to stay out of it and instead keep an eye for snipers or any other external force that would attempt to harm him during the confrontation. However, if he starts to lose, he won't hesitate to call the Berserker in to help him, even if it;s only to use him as a proverbial meat shield.

    Personality: An arrogant, self-righteous, mean-spirited son of a bitch, and one of the most brilliant tactical minds seen in the order for a long time. Francis scoffs at all who are below him and holds great disdain for anyone who believes himself superior to him, but he wholeheartedly believes in the glory of the order, if for no other reason than the fact it makes him, one of the Paladins, yet more glorious by being at the head of such a magnificent faction. Despite his astonishing military track record, however, his blatant displays of arrogance and racism make him widely hated by those who serve under him, even if they would not be caught dead disobeying one of his orders.

    History: Cousin of the current Paladin of Wings and son of the previous Paladin of blades, Francis has the same amount of open disdain for his eccentric cousin as his father had for his own lack luster older brother. Francis fully believes that the seat of Paladin of Wings should have been his own, and blames nothing but his own youth. Had he been born earlier and been in a position to properly impress Paladin of Wings Rhodes that 'insane son of a nameless bum officer', as Francis refers to his cousin (despite the fact that Nathaniel's father was in fact very highly ranked despite never attaining the position of Paladin), would have never been promoted as he was.

    However, due to the strict values of the order having been hammered into his head by his own father since he was a young child, Francis would never dream of betraying or disobeying his cousin due to the fact that he is still his superior officer. Instead, he relentlessly tries to discredit him in the eyes of the other paladins, knowing full well that if he can get the three others to stand against Nathaniel, that he can lose his position as paladin of wings and be forced to give it up to the most deserving officer, and in this time of war, only someone with Francis' brilliant military mind would be a logical choice.

    sadly, despite Nathaniel's private eccentricities, he is proving to be an all-too capable and charismatic, if somewhat unorthodox, leader and thus Francis is forced to bite his lip and patiently wait for his cousin to slip up.
