It is simple. I haven't played any of the fighting games you listed and assumed range and movement was based on an 8-directions instead of 4, there was no movement on the previous turn, when Shanoa "moved to defend the conveyor" it wasn't actually movement but suggesting that when the conveyor moved Relius that he would have to move through Shanoa to get out, and this is a really long run-on sentence.
The pen is mightier than the sword, but knowing how to use a blade is wise. Especially when you're surrounded. And out of ink.

Shanoa slowly glows gold and transforms into trophy, Relius smiles and walks again the current until it comes to him.
Relius: Ahaha, So powerful, yet still, so fragile...?
????: I won't let you!
Relius: ?!
immediately a strong fist comes down above relius and he dodges, and to his surprise a purple marionette looking like Ignis was there, but her face was pale and ceramic. But on hand she held a boy... It was Nirvana and Carl!
Relius: Carl, So you're here also. And you brought ada with you!
Carl: I thought I told you before to never say her name again!
Carl attacks relius with one of his Machines created from Siethr and Nirvana stands behind him but in an idle stance. Relius blocks and counters as they go at each other.
Relius: you're lacking my boy! Still your anger is but a slow burning candle!
With a slash of his strings he bowls Carl over landing him next to Nirvana who wakes up and walks to his side.
Carl: S-sis? you're...glowing!
Nirvana: ! ...
Carl: Alright... Father... *astral flash sound*
Carl adjusts his glasses quickly and Nirvana faces the screen pulling out a large energy ball at her chest with a timer slowly ticking down above her head.
Carl: please take this seriously!
relius grits his teeth then points forward.
Relius: Ignis, dispose of them both!
But nothing happens...
Relius: ....? Ignis?
Without warning however Ignis grabs Relius from behind and holds him near nirvana as the orb charges and the timer continues to count on... he struggles in vain.
Relius: I-Ignis, p-please, don't do this!! Is it...because of carl's presence here?!
Carl: M-Mother!?
Nirvana: !!!
Ignis: ...
Carl: I...I understand! Come on sis, Let's finish this!
Carl immediately dashes at full speed up the conveyor belt to behind his sister and the counter finishes. Immediately the orb implodes for a minute and disappears, but straight after a giant explosion ensues. The machinery is scorched black and the characters still relatively nearby shield their faces. In the blast, Relius was blown away along with Ignis who seemed to survive in one piece being sent a decent distance back. Relius outstetching a hand as he grabbed the ledge but it was the ledge of the conveyor belt causing him to immediately fall off as it wrapped around from the end dropping him into the darkness of the pits below...
Relius: N-nooooo!!!
Relius calls out as he echoes all the way to the bottom a small golden glow seen as he falls...but then... nothing is then heard. Not a crack, not a landing or a sound of his trophy breaking into pieces...
As for Shanoas trophy, she ended up at the top of the conveyor belt at F4 from the blast, the trophy itself hardly sustaining any damage as it was slowly roll down the belt again ready to be picked up by alex or Vanille to be rescued later when the conveyor belt stopped them.
Nirvana finishes the explosion and then goes idle again standing with Carl.
Carl: Sis... Is it... over?
Nirvana: ...
Carl: I see... Then, lets go. If he's still alive, we know we can beat him again. I must turn you back... I just want the real you back so much...
Carl notices Joanna and Mist from when he first arrived a while ago, he tips his hat to them with a small bow and waves, then nirvana softly picks Carl up and they fly off, teleporting to probably another place as they reach the wall.....
Relius was defeated! Relius won't respawn for a good few matches now.
*Siegfried soon gets up from his position while Mist and Joanna continue to walk against the conveyor belt.*
Mist: ...he saved us...
Joanna: So that was his old man Relius huh? Tch...no wonder the kid hates his guts.
Mist: ! Siegfried! Are you ok?!
Siegfried: I'm fine. Hardly anything I've felt before...but...I thought you said-
Mist: Yes...our powers were reduced when we came here due to the "rules" of this world...but it seemed Crazy Hand trusted him with some of his power...
Joanna: I get it. That explains why he was able to go downtown so easily against all of us. Good thing we all decided to work together.
Siegfried: ...yes...but now that problem has been dealt with...
Mist: ...I don't want to...but...I guess I have no choice now huh?
Joanna: ...just don't be afraid to retreat if it looks like your going to bite it.
Siegfried: But first...that woman must be revived...
Mist: Like I said, just touch the base of the trophy where the two lines form a cross...still, seeing her like that makes me feel that I couldn't save her...
Joanna: Well if were going to fight, let's do it justly. Hey! Can you get to your friend there or should I revive her? *Calling out to the other two.*
