Limb stretching usually becomes needed for identity changing. different heights and all that. Also you still haven't answered the question.
phycometabolism, healing (strictly internal), and (not limb stretching but mild facial and body shifting for identity reasons) Metamorphic Shape-shifting are the only three I want.

I'm guessing that the question your refering to is:
Also what sort of Transgenic upgrades were you thinking of? Because that's awfully tricky with metamorphic.
Well alot of the animal upgrades people usually want are strength, speed or agility. shapeshifting clashes with those.
Yes. So, What animal?

the genetic coding is purely synthetic but takes inspiration from Octopus cyanea (Day Octopus capable of extreme changes in musculature and skin texture),and the Ambystoma mexicanum (The axolotl is capable of extreme self healing due to first the de-differentiation of adult cells into a stem cell state similar to embryonic cells and second, development of these cells into new tissue in less than 12 hours, forming a structure called the apical epidermal cap (AEC). Over the next several days there are changes in the underlying stump tissues that result in the formation of a blastema (a mass of dedifferentiated proliferating cells). As the blastema forms, pattern formation genes – such as HoxA and HoxD – are activated as they were when the limb was formed in the embryo. The distal tip of the limb (the autopod, which is the hand or foot) is formed first in the blastema. The intermediate portions of the pattern are filled in during growth of the blastema by the process of intercalation. Motor neurons, muscle, and blood vessels grow with the regenerated limb, and reestablish the connections that were present prior to amputation. The time that this entire process takes varies according to the age of the animal, ranging from about a month to around three months in the adult and then the limb becomes fully functional.). these process are of coures enhanced for play purposes.
Wait a second...You want to use octopus DNA for powers that are already listed as occurring naturally in humans?

for the functionality of the process yes. While a human is capable such changes in musculature and skin texture the end result will almost always have an adverse result (loss of skin elasticity for example) this however isn't an issue for octopuses. Also it isn't octopus DNA only inspired by it.
MEtamorphs can change the shape of their bones and skin and muscles. So it's not really needed. their skin can change colour too.

Not really interested in camo as such I haven't instituted it as a part of the synthetic cocktail.
It's not just for camo. Different people have different skin colours. Anyways you're trying to make this extremely hard on yourself when it's alreayd so easy.
