Star Wars idea

I want this to take place after the fall of the Empire. Luke is training new Jedi to fill the New Jedi Order and peace seems to be restored in the galaxy. But what Luke seems to have overlooked or forgotten is that there are still some Jedi scattered in different planets that survived the purge. Some of these Jedi have taken apprentices and taught them in the ways of the force. With the Jedi Order disbanded, they began to follow their own beliefs. In other terms, these Jedi did what they wanted without following the Jedi code. Hopefully this is pretty clear.

I want the story to start off with the unknown death of a Jedi who never came back from a mission. After time passed, Luke sends some other Jedi to go in search of him. On the planet where he died, they come across the Jedi that killed him. News gets back to Luke that there are some Jedi on other planets. Peace is now threatened since Jedi are now killing Jedi.

Basically, the way this would work is that the New Jedi Order will go off in search of these Jedi and convince them to turn over to the New Jedi Order. Almost like in the Clone Wars when the Seperatists and the Republic tried getting planets to join their side. Of course negotiations won't be easy and pretty.

Feel free to thrown in your suggestions. I'm not so good with the dates in Star Wars so you guys can help me out with that.

Rules

Someone can choose to play Luke. As a matter fact that would be really great.

There isn't a limit to the number of characters you want to play as. The only exception is that you can keep track of all of them.

Jedi, bounty hunters, old stormtroopers etc are allowed

No short posts. A paragraph, a paragraph and a half or more would be great. And please check your grammar as mispelling can sometime confuse some people.

Deaths are allowed as long as the person doing the killing and the person dying is ok with it



That's pretty much it. If anything else pops into my head, i'll post it here. I'll post the OOC as soon as I see a good amount of people that have taken interest. I don't see a closing of people who want to join. Eeven if this gets going and maybe a month later, someone else wants to join, you're more than welcome.

when exactly will this take place on the starwars timeline... somewhere during, or after the Yuuzhan Vong war? Or during the Second Galactic Civil war?....After that Luke is exiled from the order so... =P

Well Devintuel, I was thinking of something like before 10 ABY. But it can take place a bit before the Yuuzhan Vong War and have that be part of the conflict.

And at the begginning Wolfee, I kind of did see something like a Jedi Civil War.

Again. Suggestions are more than welcome. If there's a specific time period you'd like or anything, let me know.

EDIT: googled the timeline to look at specific events around that time, and I see that the Jedi Praxeum was created in ABY 11.
Would that be a more appropriate time for the plot? The Praxeum is the Jedi Academy on Yavin IV.

Hey, I think ABY is the dumbest marker for the series. A better marker would be AFE, After Fall of the Empire. That would make more sense.

I also wasn't fond of the Youza'bums (Yuuzhan Vong) or the Ysalmiri. That Timothy Zahn is a horrible writer.
