It's no problem. If I ever start or join a Cthulhu RP I'll be sure to PM you.
Anyway, progress is a bit slower than I thought, but I'm having fun with it. I hope to be done with the Deities of the Mythos by tomorrow and the Bestiary within the week.
Wow. That's an impressively sized article. Nice work. I loooooooooove the Lovecraft mythos. It manages to go past the otherwise shallow subtleties of the horror genre and add some interesting cosmic elements to the mix. Also the RPG is really nice.
Thanks. Although quality is of course more important than size, I am proud of its length. But that length is going to more than double once I complete the Deities of the Mythos and add the Bestiary and spell list, and that's just for those sections. The Mythos are so lengthy, it's impossible even to summarize them without taking up the equivalent of several advanced posts.
And yeah, I LOVE the RPG. Right now I'm loving it more than ever, as I couldn't do any of this without the 6th-edition book as reference material.
EDIT: BTW, is there a limit on post length, or was I reserving all those extra slots for nothing?
Thanks. Good to know my work is appreciated For anyone who might actually be following my progress actively, I'm working on Alien Technology before the Bestiary, as the latter will take a while to complete.
The King in Yellow is the only known form of Him (Not He) Who is Not to Be Named. You can use a picture of it. And, Speaking Him Who Is Not to Be Named's Name causes death or severe diseases, insanity or fates worse than death. Add that too. They don't call him ''Who is Not to Be Named'' For Nothing.
Oh, and, Nyogtha is not The Thing That Should Not Be.
It's The Thing Which Should Not Be. The Thing That Should Not Be is a good song from Metallica.
