    Twisted - New Characters welcomed

We are about to close chapter two in Twisted and with a few drop outs there are now spots open, so send in your sheets while you can!!

    Osmond’s Institute.

Osmond’s Institute is known by very few. It exists in a small town called Orrace, Orrace lays between realities, between worlds and alternate worlds. It is inhabited only by those who cannot exist in any proper society. The mentally insane get sent here the beings with minds so twisted and messed up that society can’t handle them. The people who get sent to mental institutions whose family doesn’t visit and who are continuously find themselves in solitary with only their dark thoughts to keep them going get sent here. The criminals who do terrible things with no remorse, ones who would kill without even batting an eyelid get sent here. They all start off in Osmond’s institute, the ones that make the most progress get sent out of the institute to live in the city, but no one ever gets sent back.

The town itself is shrouded in darkness, the sun never shines, murder and mayhem are a regular daily occurrence. The houses are fit to be condemned, the school practically deserted. There is a police station with a sheriff and an officer who constantly tries to bring order to the chaos, but always seem to fail. There are good people that have seen the error of their ways, but not many. Most have minds that are so twisted that the only thing in life to bring them any sense of pleasure is causing destruction, hurting others or hurting themselves both physically and mentally.

The institute is run by what looks to be proper doctors and nurses who, if they have anything wrong with them, it doesn’t show. Of course that’s not the case but I can’t tell you everything. Things happen in the institute that can’t be explained, tortured souls linger in the hallways, in the bedrooms, some antagonize, trying to stop those there from getting better and others that try to help.

Because Orrace is between worlds it means that it is very multi-racial be it human, vampire, werewolf, demon or anything else you can come up with. Your character can also be from any time period as long as he/she is afflicted with some kind of mental instability. I’d like it if there were no characters under 17 please.

You can go all out here; the more messed up the better. If you want to play as a townie, an officer, the sheriff, a doctor or nurse let me know. Feel free to double up and try to have at –least- two good paragraphs. I’ll be NPC’ing Osmond and others to keep it interesting and doing some Story telling as well as playing proper characters so hopefully no one gets bored!

If you need more info let me know I only wrote this quickly so I can always expand. Would like to keep this between rating 15-R so is graphic scenes offend you, look somewhere else.

I'll join! This seems like a good idea.

    Name: Dobodo

    Age: Twenty

Race: I'd like to keep this secret for now, heeheehee...

Mental Affliction: Contentment. Anything that happens is fine by him. Insults whistle over his head. However, he's literal-minded and obedient, as well as trained to kill. This represents an unstoppable killing machine that doesn't care what happens to it and in fact enjoys challenges and easy jobs exactly the same.

Bio: He was caught and sent to this institution after a failed attempt on the life of a cruel dictator on his home world. Even the messed up ruler could see he needed help and sent him to the institution, bundled up in duct tape and smiling contentedly at everyone. By the second day, his nurse was found dead, and after that, his food deliveries were under armed escort.

Pic or description: He has startling blue hair and pale skin. His teeth are slightly pointed at the edges, and he's a humanoid of naturally average height and build.

Any Extras you'd like to add: He's a luckyducky. Everything is done based on instinct, which is nearly always correct to the point where it's impossible to predict his actions except for the fact that they'll turn out for the best. His favorite weapon is a katana that folds up into a small dagger.

Fears: His only fear is marks that are too hard for him to handle. Other than that, he welcomes everything as lucky. It's like super-optimism... O.o

Oooh, a long runner. I don't usually like the idea of making fun of the mentally deficient, but you guys seem to know your stuff. Hmm, how about a chew-toy character from a cartoon that's sort of wants to be abused? That's my sort of stock "insane" character.

    Name: Spazzicus Batticus, Spaz

Age: Unknown, but probably older than he looks.

    Race:Cartoon bat

Mental Affliction: He has very abuse-seeking tendencies- the more toxic the relationship he has with another character the more content he seems to be. Consider that his last "partner" was a sadistic evil overlord who enjoyed constantly exploding the little fellow it's going to be hard to find someone to take his place. Spaz is also prone to nervous tics, especially laughing maniacally.

Bio: Some universes make less sense than others. The Wizard and the Knights was a cartoon that had a different lifespan in different universes. In some, it never made it past the pilot. In others it was a half season flop and it one universe it spawned a small empire of comics, novels and strait to dvd movies. The plot of the show was pretty dry- a toy selling show like He-Man mixed with a few Disney tropes. Krootla, the world of WatK was a universe on its own.

Lord Noxon was the villain of the show and quite a powerful wizard in his own universe. His pet/henchman was Spaz, a badly proportioned bat with a nervous, evil laugh. Noxon made it quite clear that he hated the little bat and always sent him off to foil his enemies, the Knights. These attempts usually ended with Spaz getting horribly maimed or hurt, usually by way of explosions, but since he's a cartoon character it had no lasting effect on his body. His mind is another story...

    Pic or description:

Any Extras you'd like to add: Since he's a cartoon follows some of the cartoon rules: cartoon invulnerability, non-aging, can only do something useful when it's funny, and so on.

Fears: Being alone, being comfortable, light.

Likes: Spikes, large, hungry creatures, bombs, darkness. He'll say that he hates this stuff but really he wouldn't be able to function in a world where he was constantly maimed.

Ermmm...I don't think a cartoon Bat would really fit in anywhere in Twisted, but feel free to try again.

Name: Jerik, Amaroq, Damien, Merik, Lazerith,
    Legion is main host

    Age: ?

    Race: Shade

    Mental Affliction: Multiple consiousness

    Bio: {I'm going to use Legion as the main name}

Legion was created when beings first had emotion. For he is nothing more then a consious and physical being of collected emotions and feelings. He was the medium to regulate the emotions for people, often taking them and calming them when he could by removing the emotion all together from that person if it was to much for them to bare. He did this naturally, without thought as he felt it was why he was created.

As time went by though, he learned that there was nothing to take the emotions from him. The more he took from others, the more that built up within his own self. Anger and Pain. Love and Joy. Jealousy and Greed. Pride and self-rightousness. Little by little it all began to over burden him. It wasn't until a day he had met am old man things truly went wrong though. THe man seemed normal enough on the outside, but Legion could sense otherwise. The man said nothing as Legion approached, but when he came close enough the man leapt up and seized Legion. He said he knew what he was, what he could do. He held onto the Shade with a vice grip as he just smiled. As he did, Legion could feel the man's emotion leaving the man and entering himself.

Almost instinanously, The shade's mind imploded, shattering it's consiousness into five seperate consiousness.

One became the very embodyment of anger and vindiction. Another was forever in want, never having enough and always wanting more. The third was always looking for love, and forever in a state of depression for never finding it. The Fourth consiousness deemed himself as all powerful, and never wrong in his actions no matter what pain he caused others, always able to justify himself.

The final consious though was Legion himself. He took on the mind of the old man, able to hind his thoughts behind a veiled mask, never showing his true insanity.

    Pic or description: {I'll add this when i get home.}

Any Extras you'd like to add:
You'll have to figure out which personality is which ^^ along with their fears

You know...I do have this character that might fit in. My characters are...weird. they never really fit in anywhere I keep them to myself. Also, this guy is particularly boring...but who knows? Maybe the world of Twisted is just where he needs to be.

    Name: Elmer

Age: Close to two hundred years

    Race: Human

Mental Affliction: Extreme depression and lethargic, believes he's a tree.

Bio: Who knows? He was found just laying around in the park wearing antiquated clothing with a silver chain nearby. He was extremely resistant to move and was kind of creeping people out. He wouldn't even get up until kids starting poking at him painfully with sticks, but even then he wouldn't defend himself. He doesn't even seem to want to feed himself. He was taken to the hospital because he seemed incapable of performing the basic duties he needed to survive.

Eventually started speaking while at the hospital, and when he does he claims he's a tree. Well, not really. He says he's a tree and before that he was a person, but there's no point in being a tree anyway because such and such and so and so are dead and the world is so much uglier than it used to be and so on. He's a huge drag to listen to, honestly.

He's just about the opposite of dangerous. Will bother to survive on his own now but seems entirely disinterested.

Pic or description: When first found he was like the portrait of a highwayman, only in shabbier clothes and not really handsome. His jaw just isn't strong enough and his nose is a little too turned up. He even had the ponytail and the tricorne hat. His eyes are a milky blue and his hair is the color of cardboard the bottom part of his face bares scars from a pox.

Any Extras you'd like to add: Clearly heterosexual and yet hates himself for going after women.

Fears: Unknown, so far. He has his triggers, we just have to uncover them.

Name: Remiel (Not his true name, just what he goes by)
Age: While his true age is indiscernible, he appears to be in his early twenties.
    Race: Fallen
Mental Affliction: Technically, none. Will be explained in the Bio.
Bio: During a time of war between the divine and the infernal realms, the mortal realm was thrown into chaos, as demons fought their way in, only to be hunted down by devout holy warriors.
In this time period, one of the holy warriors finds himself on the edge of death, a list of names of power his only weapon against a band of demons closing in on him. In desperation, the warrior calls out the first name on the list, striking a deal with the being that was summoned. In exchange for his soul, the being would continue the warriors crusade of good and order after his death.
Well, the contract is made, and the deal is struck. However, neither of them were fully aware of the specifics of the contract until the being was summoned. The being was unaware that what was asked for the soul was an eternity of serving righteousness, and the warrior was unaware that the being he summoned was the fallen Arc-Angel, known as Remiel.
Well, after the slaughter of the band of demons, Remiel tries to return to his life of spreading chaos and destruction, only to find that he cannot bring himself to do so. Even worse, he begins to thwart the attempts of his fellow fallen, never quite sure as to why. Well, after this goes on for quite a while, the other fallen deem him insane, and send him off to a realm between realms where he can never get in their way again… or so they hope.
Pic or description: While he is capable of changing his form, his preferred form is as follows:

Any Extras you'd like to add: His powers are great, and his abilities in battle are nearly unmatched. However, the will of the other Fallen bind him to this realm, and further bind his powers to only a fraction of what they should be. While he is able to access his true power on rare occasions, doing so causes his bonds to tighten, leaving him in great agony and reducing his easily accessed power all the more.
Fears: As an entity of such great power, human emotions don’t apply to him. He fears nothing, if only because he doesn’t feel fear. However, he does respect that which is beyond him in power, and he would prefer to continue to exist.

Could you let me know what powers he does have please? And also there has to be something he fears? Returning to the underworld...losing all his powers...forgetting himself...becoming mortal.
