It seems interesting, but is there going to be any sort of trait/point system to develop our nations?
    My goodies.

I was planning on allocating each person their resources and "traits."

That way you have to work with what you have and negotiate with the other districts to get what you want.

    I wouldn't mind joining.
Hmmm.. a bird landed on someone's head. What an odd use of symbolism.

The Industrial Forest does not get its name from trees but rather the many many smokestacks that clog the skyline. Because of the wars this Southern District was forced to carry the burden of manufacturing. Every square inch of the district is covered in abject poverty and machinery. The sky is a constant shade of deep black from the soot and the rain is a black acidic sludge. The very few rich in the city either live in the Capital district or the “domes” that protect them from the outside atmosphere and seem to be almost like the American suburban life. The citizens of the Industrial Forest have set up large settlements in sewer systems and other manmade infrastructure in order to protect from the hostile atmosphere.

    Mein cake!

Is this rp set in the advanced category purely because it's a nations rp?

@ Wernher: You got it! The master of industry... But I'm not sure you're going to like the enviromental effects its had. I guess you'll have to wait.

@Shade: No. Its in the Advanced because I do expect slightly more than normal. Normally you don't have this problem because nation Rps give you a ton to respond to so it doesn't really matter about post length.

The two reasons I prefer Nation RPs in Advanced are that it weeds out some of the less serious RPers and it keeps Grammar at good levels. I have horrible grammar myself but sometimes its hard to understand writers in Casual or Free. And in a Nation RP that is mandatory.

So to answer your question its no and yes. However if you're afraid to try this because its in Advanced I would tell you not to worry. As long as your grammar is at a level we can all understand and you take this at a serious level and think everything through. Post length will be second nature.

The Frozen Barrens are the northernmost district and seem to be under an isolated ice age. The northerner’s have adapted quickly to this state and have created cities inside large ice domes that keeps the heat in. Similar to large, permanent, igloos the domes protect large portions of the district. The district also has the advantage that an outsider will die quickly and on average within 30 minutes of crossing the border.

Very Russia/Alaska-y this seems like my kinda place!

I'll give it a shot then. Unfortunately, I'll probably end up failing miserably because not only would this be the first Nations rp I've joined but also the first advanced rp also. I'll take the Frozen Barrens leadership position by the way.
