It's like he just happened to hold the scythe upside down, and the knife (appeared to) just HAPPEN to be there.
That's the basic rundown my friend/opponent gave as to how his block worked. I'm fixed to accept it, out of sheer fact that there's nothing at any real stake. In a "real" battle though, I take it that this sort of explanation would get chewed out to no end.

This'll be the last time I double post... ever.

In a real battle it is assumed stuff like this will happen. (There is such a thing called luck). It is only if this stuff happens on several occasions do people raise eyebrows and point fingers. Three times if you want a thumb of rule before you can call them out on it.

Well I tend to be skeptical of the legality of such things. I mean, I tend to judge luck on a case-by case basis, and generally how likely it is that the situation as is could yield such results. To me, the idea of picking up one's staff and bringing it just right to deflect a projectile moving at the speed of sound would be pushing the patience of fate too much. Like in this case I see it as more of a cop-out than a legitimate logical reasoning of "right place at the right time."

So i noticed there where no questions governing different forms now how would it werk if a character has more than one form i.e. like shadow lady or a magical boy or girl. if each form has a different strength and weakness to which tier would they go or what level of power class would they belong?

One of my characters for instance has a form for each of the elements however there are requirements for achieving each one of these forms they are all goverend by emotion and each form only grants enough power to her that she can handle. for instance enough excitement will cause her phoenix form to emerge. (now to clarify thats just the name all forms look like her just a change of clothes a weapon and hair color along with the ability to harness use and manipulate the corresponding element SHE CANNOT CREATE ANY OF THE ELEMENTS) this form gives her enhanced speed that of a bullet, and enhanced strength she possess enough force in any given blow to crack a petrified tree but the biggest flaw in this state she doesnt think its all destruction destruction destruction so where would a character like this belong?
This heart belongs again to darkness. All worlds begin in darkness, and all so end. The heart is no different. Darkness sprouts within it. It grows, consumes it. Such is its nature. In the end, every heart returns to the darkness whence it came.

It would depend on the other form.

And by the sound of it, maybe tier 4 or low 5.

Characters are divided into tiers based on the highest power they have. Simple transformations such as the classical werewolves or vampires would be considered borderline supernatural and fall under tier 4. If these transformations involve magical spells or powers to the extent that the characters are able to destroy buildings with ease it falls under tier 5.

The tier system is based on the level of destruction the character can dish out. The greater the destruction the higher up the tier system they go.

One of my characters for instance has a form for each of the elements however there are requirements for achieving each one of these forms they are all goverend by emotion and each form only grants enough power to her that she can handle. for instance enough excitement will cause her phoenix form to emerge. This character would belong to tier six if they can move as fast as a bullet. You have to remember the average bullet travels faster than the speed of sound. Even if your character at a base level(not moving at all) possess the strength to crush stone(petrified wood) at the speed of a bullet the force behind their attacks is the same as a missile. Force = Mass x Acceleration (Newton's Second Law of Motion). That your character can repeatedly launch attacks with the strength of a missile at a ridiculous speed makes them incredibly powerful.

It doesn't matter if your character doesn't want to destroy anything. The point is they HAVE the ability to destroy things on a large scale. The tier system grades powers not personality.

I'd also like to clarify that a WEAKNESS is not something you can ignore.(Your character's will to fight). Any writer can justify a person's will to fight in a number of reasons(The opponent killed so-and-so's aunt, brother, or sister. So even if she doesn't want to fight, kill, or murder, she can do those things anyway given the circumstances). That isn't a proper weakness. It can be so easily ignored it doesn't even matter.

@Asperser i really appreciate the feedback. But when i said her excitement has to reach a certain level i mean it would have to be a rival or a stronger opponent never that she has to have the will to fight. Also a huge weakness is the fact that if her phoenix form does emerge she is highly susceptible to traps and the like. because she is focused primarily on destructionshe has no real defense everything is geared to offense.
This heart belongs again to darkness. All worlds begin in darkness, and all so end. The heart is no different. Darkness sprouts within it. It grows, consumes it. Such is its nature. In the end, every heart returns to the darkness whence it came.

I don't know what you mean by her excitement. The point I was making earlier was referencing the quote below.

the biggest flaw in this state she doesnt think its all destruction destruction destruction so where would a character like this belong?
Which implies that the flaw in her power is that she doesn't want to destroy everything. That's pretty ambiguous. That's like saying she gets weaker if she gets sad. What if she never gets sad? Is that still a weakness? You can't base off weaknesses based on their personality. It's subject to your willingness to sabotage yourself and is not an inherent flaw in their powers.(Shooting Fireballs). Though personally I don't see the reason in stating weaknesses. A character will speak for itself by the limitations you set for them.

OOOOOOKAY i see what your saying and i do agree a character will speak for themselves. it was my fault i didnt punctuate that part there should have been a comma after "she doesnt think".

But no she wouldnt get weaker if she got sad lol thats where the Water form comes from. her thing is she has to keep a constant check of her emotion so as to not activate these forms
