- Dagger - Location: Balheim Valley, Dragon Rider's Base
"Ugh, why do we always get stuck with all of the icky jobs Bastion? These demons are such a pain in the tail." complained an impatient Dagger as she plunged her sword into one of the multiple squid-like demons that they had just defeated. To accentuate Dagger's point her dragon, SunFyre, snorted as she stomped down hard with one of her front feet squishing a demon that was barely alive after a bad burn from the ruby dragon during the battle. Flicking her tail as she looked over to Dagger SunFyre snorted again to get her rider's attention, a small flare of flames escaping her nostrils with the snort. After stabbing another of the demons Dagger turned her head towards her dragon, "You're hungry I see, hmm. Eat a demon or two to help with the mess, won't you SunFyre?" she said as she waved her hand a couple of times to shoo the dragon to do as she told only for SunFyre to snort again agitated for not wanting to eat one of those hideous demons, they tasted bad in her opinion for she had already tried it and it gave her a stomach ache.
Feeling SunFyre's distaste Dagger sighed, "Oh alright, hold on until after we finish off these demons." she said with a sigh as she stabbed another demon tossing it into a nearby pile of corpses tossing her long red hair out of her face. SunFyre romped around hyperly glad that her supper would soon come, she stomped demons with a renewed vigor anxious to get the job done. She trotted over to Bastion and nudged him with her muzzle in hello and snorted out a small plume of flame again almost catching Bastion's tunic on fire. Dagger looked over to SunFyre a bit irritated, "SunFyre, leave him be and get back to killing demons, please." she said in an exasperated tone putting more emphasis on the 'please' to her dragon. The pile of demon corpses began to rise with the abundance of about thirty or so of the vile creatures, whistling a tune Dagger tossed all of the bodies that she had finished off into the stack snapping her fingers for SunFyre to light it ablaze while Bastion added his kills.
- Jesir & Reija - Location: Kath'ca Prison, Aboard his ship 'The Deceiver.'
Jesir lounged quietly in the cabin loft of his ship, The Deceiver. Waiting for his arrival to Kath'ca Prison where he, Jesir, the holder of a powerful Shade's anchor would break out the Shade for his own personal gain and benefit. The male closed his eyes for a moment and then reopened them looking over to the door where a tall, female Bastette had walked in, "Reija darling, glad to have you join me. Have we arrived at the prison?" asked Jesir in a giggly tone smiling widely with shark-like teeth at the Bastette who closed the door behind herself lowering the hood of her dark cloak. "Yes, we have arrived m'lord Jesir. Shall I prepare this place for your arrival inside?" asked Reija in a hiss-like tone with a wide grin upon her face, one of her large plaited braids hanging over her left ear gently brushed against her cheek before she tossed it back to where it belonged.
Jesir uncrossed his legs and stood up walking to a coat rack withdrawing one of his favorite deep red jackets tossing it over his shoulders and buttoning it up, "Yes, yes dear, I will be inside momentarily clean it up for me won't you?" he asked with a toothy grin. Reija gave a bow, her dark eyes glinting in the dimly lit cabin as she turned and put her hood back up leaving. Going inside the prison with a large group of Jesir's bodyguards and lackeys and soldiers, Reija pulled her scimitars from her back with a grin as she rushed towards an assortment of guards slaughtering them mercilessly as the group behind her darted inside attacking guards and so and such making way for Jesir to get down to the bottom level where the Shade, Korthos was held. Many of the soldiers and lackeys fell, but in Jesir's eyes, they were expendables whom he did not much care for.
The only real bodyguard that he actually cared for at the moment was Reija herself, her being his second in command. Slicing and dicing her way down the path startled inmates lining the walls in their cells at the sight of the Bastette Assassin and a horde of assorted lackeys that followed her. Once they were a great ways in Reija dodged a large trap that killed a few of the bodyguards letting out a loud whistle to assure Jesir that all was well. Jesir heard the whisper having cupped his hand to his ear near the door, with another toothy grin he kicked open the door making sure that he had the Shade's Anchor within one of his many pockets of the jacket he wore. Walking leisurely down the hallways and staircases, Jesir withdrew his large serrated-blade scythe and whistled slashing any guards or prison associates that were left behind careful of not to get blood on his clothing.
Once he had reached the bottom where the Shade in question, Korthos was kept he nodded to Reija who busted open the door and walked inside killing any guards that would be guarding Korthos inside as well as having killed the ones outside of the door. Once all was said and done Jesir chuckled stepping over a dead lackey and walked inside, "So you're the Shade that I have been looking for, Korthos, if I am correct?" he asked awaiting an answer walking to not far away from the null-table carefully flanked by Reija by his side who towered over him by about a foot. "I believe that I have something that belongs to you." said Jesir as he withdrew the Shade's anchor from his pocket holding it out of reach of the Shade with a wide toothy grin and a small giggle.
[[ I'm going to go ahead and post as Reija in with Jesir because I'm almost done with her. ]]
