I think the Doctor should have like an explanatory DVD or something for all new companions. Like "So you want to be a Companion?", that tells people all the basics they need to know about Time Lords and such like. Lol, because he seems to have to explain himself quite a lot, it'd just save time.

It would seriously just save so much time. Like it would be required for all second trips, on the journey to have to watch it. Explain the two hearts thing, where he's from, cover without mentioning his involvement of the Time War, stuff like that.

Agreed! I think Trixi should bring that up and have the Doctor make a movie for just that purpose. There'd just be the one copy on the TARDIS of course. It would just mean he'd pop it into the player and boom! The current companion would have all the info she could want right there. Without him having to be uncomfortable explaining it over and over.
