Trixi pursed her lips in thought for a moment before leaning over closer to the Doctor. "His consort, sister and wife, probably," she said softly, hopefully so the others around won't hear her too well. "They have two still born daughters, might help the family line some if they at least married cousins and not siblings, there are quite enough of them around."

"No, no...Look at her...She's not..." The Doctor stumbled for a word, "Egyptioness." finally just making up another word.

Trixi taking a close look at her will see pale blue eyes on an otherwise perfectly Egyptian woman.

A sound behind the Doctor caused him to turn around and look down and ally way. A young girl in clothing that did not belong in this time and place stood with bright eyes.
"Help." The Doctor started towards her and she vanished into thin air. He shook it off and turned back to the parade as if he hadn't even seen the girl.

Trixi looked again, and indeed, on closer inspection she saw that she wasn't as 'Egyptioness' as she should be. "Huh," she said, tilting her head to the side and feeling the Doctor start to walk away as he tugged her hand some. She turned to look where he looked but saw nothing there at all. "What were you looking at?" she asked him, looking up into his face rather confused.

And not just about what the Doctor had been doing, but what he'd said as well. How could he have known that the woman behind the Pharaoh was not his sister at all. He was such a strange man.

"Nothing." He looks at her confused for a second. The Doctor looked up at the parade. "Come on let's follow them. Maybe we can get in to meet him wherever they end up." He paid the vendor as the crowd dispersed and wrapped the piece of linen around Trixi's head. "There, it makes you look even more Egyptian." He grins broadly and starts after the parade.

The parade looped around and led back up to the main house. He fell into the line of the parade probably nearly dragging Trixi with him. "Shh, trust me." He winked and grinned that goofy grin again.

((sorry that took so long I got distracted with biscuits from Popeye's))

Trixi still looked rather confused and rather unconvinced by his nothing. But she had nothing to base that on so she let it slide and just let The Doctor do as he wished, making her blush more and smile at him. She did stumble after him some, but she giggled a bit and slipped into place next to him, holding on rather tight to his hand just then so they didn't get separated. "Not going to tell me at all what's going on?"

"Well in a moment here..." He looks a head, "yep they'll be having a speech thingy, and we'll sneak into the crowd and then afterward we'll talk to him."

Pharaoh Tut stood up on a dais, the crowed silenced.
"Today I marry Lutaninti." The Doctor raised an eyebrow, and glanced at Trixi.
"Seem off to you?" He whispered.
"Today you receive a new Queen." The blue eyed woman stepped forward and smiled. A cheer rose from the crowd. "Today when the sun is at it's apex we will finish the exchange. According to Lutaninti's traditions we will exchange vows then as well." The crowd gave another cheer.
    "Yep, definitely off."

Trixi looked utterly perplexed, that name was not right at all...it should have been like Ankhesenepatan or something like that. Who ever this was, this wasn't right. She looked at the Doctor, thin eyebrow raising up some. "This is not right..." she said trailing off, shaking her head some. For just a moment she thought that maybe they had gone a bit further then just back in time and had maybe ended up in an alternate time instead. Because at that point, she was willing to accept that anything was possible. Like how she hadn't even questioned that she could understand what they were saying like it was English.

"She's not...an alien, is she?" she asked looking back to the woman standing next to the young Pharaoh.

"I don't know, but let's find out." The Doctor pulled out the sonic screwdriver and pointed it at the queen to be. The screwdriver lit up and buzzed. "Yep, definitely alien. Every time." He sighs and shakes his head. "Definitely wrong, he is supposed to marry Ankhesenepatan. Hmm, alright follow me."

The Doctor led Trixi past the crowed and off to one of the side entrances. A guard stopped them the Doctor held up a blank piece of paper. "Official business." The guard looked at the two of them and the blank piece of paper, then nodded letting them pass.

"Come on we'll cross paths with them up ahead and then...I'll come up with a plan."

Trixi looked at him when he mentioned the proper name for Tut's wife, blinking that he knew that, though she really shouldn't of been so surprised. She stumbled after him for a moment, blinking even more with the paper that he'd pulled out and manged to get them passed the guards with.

"What no plan?" she asked, shaking her head some as she tried to figure out what was going on just then. "What the hell was that?" she asked reaching for the physic paper he'd not put away just yet. "What does it say that let them just let us passed them with no questions at all?"

"Well...I tend to plan as I go along. I don't know what is going to happen so I just plan as it happens." He shows her the physic paper, it is blank. "It doesn't say anything unless someone wants it to say something. Like that guard it said something along the lines of me being an official escort, or inspector or something along those lines. It is what he thought I was."

The Doctor led them through the maze of halls, seemingly lost, but at the same time it looked as if he knew exactly where he was going. Finally he paused, glancing through a doorway into a room. It look like a dinning room, there was a large table in the center of the room. On top of the table was some assorted scrolls.
