((Alright, guys! Here's the long awaited first post for my RP! Let's have a great time!)
Xalen jolted awake and sat up in his bed, panting heavily and dripping sweat. He look around and, not finding himself in any danger, he took a few deep breaths, calmed himself down, and wiped the sweat from his forehead. When he had caught his breath he threw his legs over the side of his bed. He briefly wondered what time it was. It was a school morning, after all, and he couldn’t afford to be late again. He glanced over at the clock on his bedside table.
“Dammit!” he shouted. “I overslept!” Quickly, he bolted over to his dresser and threw on the first shirt he found. He hastily pulled on the pants he had worn yesterday, grabbed his backpack, and dashed out the door to school.

"Yeah," Xalen said. "We'd better get going if we want to make it on time. I think we have a test in first period. C'mon, let's go!" Xalen started running down the sidewalk.

"Hey! Wait up! You I can't run as fast as you!" Alvery yelled after Xalen. She pused her self to catch up with him.

Xalen slowed down a little so that Alvery could catch up with him. "Hurry up, Slowpoke! I don't want to have to leave you behind again! Actually, I might just do that if you don't go faster!"

"True," said Xalen, "but I need to pass this test if I want any hope of graduating. Don't forget that I'm a Senior. This class is all that stands between me and my diploma. I need to pass this class, and I need to pass this test in order to do that."
