    Silent Sad Shadow

    Silent Sad Shadow

    Set : Modern day 2011

    Genres : Mystery, Dystopian, Drama, Action, Adventure, Fantasy and Romance

    Group Size : 3 - 4 people with 4 - 5 characters

    Brief Summary : Set in today's times, shadows of sadness have been taking over areas of the world. Most of the population cannot see these shadows but the view who can are running out of places to hide. The shadows started appearing one summer day in 2011 and it's now almost winter. Much of the world has fallen into a listless depressive state of mind. Cities are becoming overrun by thugs, thieves, and others who thrive on negative emotions. But soon everyone in the world will become useless sacks of sadness and the one behind all the mood altering attacks will collect his prize and take over as king of the world. But there is a small glimmer of happiness, of hope. Some of the population, albeit few, can see these incoming dark waves and have banded together to fight it off. Together they must find the weakness and find out the one who is trying to take over the world.

    Closing Notes : This can be either done in a dramatic serious way or something of an overly done comedic way. I don't know. It's random yes but who knows...anyway just a plot bunny I had. I'll refine it later if I get interest.

    Reminds me a bit of Condemned 2, but I'd be in for it.

    I take it, that the survivor group will probably be all-human? No supernatural powers, except for the fact to be able to see the shadows?

    Sounds interesting. I assume this wave of sadness is supernatural in nature and not biochemical? That is to say, it's the work of a fiend and not a mad scientist?

    At the moment I'm actually not sure if/when I can get more details out but it would be biochemical created by someone, not just happenings. Though it could be possible it's supernatural with someone from another world/planet coming to take over. -shrugs-
