Genius. I know how to alleviate Kagamine's concern now.
Mythical Creatures
-The main character is a mythical creature. <- Why not? Perspective change and it directly fits the theme.
-The story is not set in the fantasy genre. <-
-The plot focuses on the first, last or only member of a legendary species. <- Again, why not?
-The mythical creature is something you imagined yourself, rather than from a previously existing story. <- Revised wording a little, it works.
-The creature is man-made. <- Plethora of things can be done with this.

I was talking about Fairy Tale updates yesterday, and I've wanted to suggest a theme for awhile, so I thought this might be a good one and it would be challenging and interisting because there have been so many different takes on the originals.
Theme: Fairy Tale
Explained: Write a story based on a fairy tale.
Some suggestions for components:
- It takes place in a modern setting.
- The story avoids a dark interpretation.
- It is told from the perspective of the villain.
- It is written as though someone is telling the story to a child.
- It undermines the traditional moral of the story.
