"So I compared these two religions, and I found out that they say the same thing! The only difference is that in one of the two the sheep is a sacred animal, and in the other it's a goat." - Professor Noah, Alfred Jonathan Kwak

So I recently took up the streaming gig. At times I'm awesome, at times I'm stupid, and sometimes I'm just plain silly.
Doctor X. Sorry for the confusion.
As you might be able to tell, the WOTM staff are a bit back-logged on suggested themes right now. We can't finalize them fast enough to look at the new ones coming in, which is why I haven't responded to most of the recent suggestions. My apologies for that.
I wonder if anyone else would find Noir appealing. As a wide open atmosphere, it comes with few preconceptions, though those that exist are highly stylized and easily manipulated. It makes a good amount of room for a broad range of eras, characters, and plots.
AOTM #25:The Four Elements
Render or draw a representation of one or more of the four elements: Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire.
Due: May 31, 23:59 PST. Have ideas suggestions? I'd love to see them in our AOTM Suggestion Thread!
I just had a great idea for this...
Time Travel
The story does not involve a time machine.
The story involves a historical figure.
The story involves a character knowing the future.
The story involves a character changing/attempting to change the future.
This can be played with....I'm still a little sleepy and my brain's not fully going yet. XD
I have a Graphics Shop now. Graphics Shops are cool.
I run a roleplaying site too!

Hmm. I suppose so. My main concern however is that it's too restricting- it already gives the premise of the story, that being time travel, as opposed to being much broader than our usual themes which leave room for people to come up with their own settings and concepts and such.
I'm not sure about this one.![]()

Time travel could be nice, yes. Perhaps a component along the lines of 'the main character does not time travel in the story' could give people some inspiration to have stories wherein the time travel is not everything the story is about. It needs some work, but I think this theme could be a good one.
Did you know we have a Writer of the Month contest? Come join it.
The WOTM #26 Theme Choice thread is up and voting is open through May 20th.
I was just about to pop in here and suggest 'Time.' What a wonderful coincidence.
- The story takes place in two or more different eras.
- The story touches on family generations bloodlines.
- The main character finds something/someone from his/her past.
- The protagonists awakens in a different time (open to interpretation).
- And some of Rose Swan's stuff (I like involving a historical figure).
