Bumping this to get some attention from all you! The AOTM is seeking to make some big changes that will make YOUR voices much more heard. To do that we'll need lots of theme suggestions, so please speak up! Don't hold yourselves back.

Can I suggest food being one of the themes? And if we cook, take pictures of people that the guild doesn't know eating it to show the satisfaction or how artistic the food appears. I know that very few of us are chefs and cook with an artistic flare in mind, but we can also come up with something original to put in. It doesn't necessarily have to be food per se, but it could be a picture/video about food as well. However you want to interpret it.

The curious part to doing Food would be how people interpret it and how we word it. A large part could be more about plating and aesthetic than cooking, since we ultimately won't be experiencing the smell, taste, or texture. That leaves people to really depicting food in some way, like a still-life, or cartoon of people interacting with it. We should talk more about this. If people are interested, we can do it.

I know we've done Black & White and Life VS Death, but have we done "Light vs Dark" It'd be a great way to see how people are able to capture light and darkness. It'd be a really good theme for photography as well as traditional artists and digital artists.

And film. You're right about that. It could be a simple, but impacting theme. Good thinking! Since this should be pretty easy to transfer into a theme, expect to see it in the near future.
